How to use the steam mode?

To use the steam mode, set the selection button to the steam position (the steam indicator lights up). Wait about 10 seconds for the appliance to heat up, then direct the steam jet onto the fabric. Never direct steam toward people, animals, or electrical parts.

Why does steam not come out even though the indicator is on?

If the indicator is on but steam does not come out, the thermal fuse may have tripped due to lack of water. Add distilled water up to the MAX level and let the appliance cool down before using again.

What water should I use in the tank?

It is strongly recommended to use distilled or demineralized water to avoid limescale and extend the appliance's lifespan. Never use hot water and do not exceed the maximum capacity of 150 ml.

How to mount the wall support?

The support can be fixed to the wall using the provided screws (fig. 4) or on a smooth surface with the provided sticker (fig. 3). For the sticker, let it dry for 8 hours before using the support. Make sure the appliance is completely cooled before placing it on the support.

Can I iron clothes being worn by someone?

No, never iron a garment being worn by a person. Direct steam only onto the fabric laid flat, never toward the body.

How to clean the appliance?

Wait at least one hour for the appliance to cool completely. Use a damp soft sponge to clean the surfaces. Never immerse the appliance in water or rinse it under the tap.

What to do if water drops come out of the steam jet?

Water drops may appear due to condensation. Continue spraying normally; the steam will push out the drops. If the problem persists, check that you have not overfilled the tank.

How long does the warranty last?

The warranty is 24 months from the date of purchase. It does not cover normal wear or damage caused by improper use not following instructions. Keep the receipt.

Can I use the appliance without water?

No, never turn on the appliance without water. If the appliance runs out of water, the safety cutoff turns it off automatically. Let it cool, fill with cold water, and you can use it again.

How to empty the tank after use?

After turning off and unplugging the appliance, wait for it to cool completely (about 30 minutes). Open the tank cap, empty remaining water, rinse with fresh water, and dry thoroughly before storing.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Do not use the appliance in any other way than as described in this manual.
• Remove all the covering and marketing materials from the appliance before the first use.
• Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values on the rating plate of the appliance. Only use grounded sockets.
• The appliance is hot during operation and for some time after switching off. Therefore, do not touch hot surfaces. Due to the risk of burning use only the handle and buttons.
• Do not clean, store or cover the appliance until it has cooled completely.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on or connected to the mains.
• Never carry the appliance during operation or while it is still hot. Do not carry it by the power cord.

• Pay extra attention if the appliance is used near children.
• Do not use the appliance as a toy.
• Do not use any accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
• Before cleaning and after use of the appliance, switch the appliance off, disconnect it from the mains and allow it to cool down.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang freely over the edge of the table. Do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces.
• Only place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant surface away from other heat sources such as radiators, ovens, etc. Protect it from direct sunlight and moisture.
• There must be water in the appliance before connecting it to the mains.
• Do not add water when the appliance is on!
• After filling the appliance with water, make sure that it is dry and that no water leaks anywhere.
• Fill the water tank only up to the recommended maximum – if the amount of water exceeds the recommended maximum level, boiling water may spurt out – RISK OF SCALDING!
• Before switching the appliance on, make sure that the lid is properly closed. Do not open it during operation to avoid scalding.
• Do not switch the appliance on if there is no water in it. Do not exceed the maximum limit of water. However, if an empty appliance is switched on, the safety fuse will automatically switch it off. Then let the appliance cool down, fill it with cold water and you can use it again.
• Do not use coarse and chemically aggressive substances to clean the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged or immersed in liquid. Have it checked and repaired by an authorized service centre.
• Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug and have it repaired immediately by an authorized service centre.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• The appliance is only suitable for home use and is not intended for commercial use.
• Do not immerse the power cord, plug or appliance in water or any other liquid.

• Do not repair the appliance yourself. Contact an authorized service centre.

• Never direct the steam towards people, body parts, animals, plants or any appliances containing electrical parts (electrical appliances, sockets, cables, interiors of ovens, etc.) - risk of electric shock.

• Direct the steam only at the fabric.
• Never steam clothes that you or someone else is wearing.
• Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Be cautious when using the appliance in the presence of children and disabled people.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years old and under supervision. Children aged under 8 years of age must be kept away from the appliance and its power cord. Do not let children play with the appliance.

Damages from failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions are not covered by the warranty.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

Use the function selection button to select the desired mode:

1. Ironing mode – ironing indicator is on
2. Steaming mode – steaming indicator is on

PREPARATION FOR USE

1. Hold the appliance in a vertical position and open the water tank cover cap.
2. Fill the measuring cup with water up to the MAX line and pour it into the water tank.
3. Close the cover cap.

Important notice:

• To ensure maximum lifetime of the appliance, we strongly recommend using only distilled or demineralized water! If you live in an area with hard water, limescale will clog the appliance and reduce its efficiency.
  • Use only cold water (never hot)!
• Never use the appliance without properly filled water tank! It may lead to irreversible damage to the appliance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Important information: Never steam an item of clothing that someone is wearing!

1. Plug in the appliance.
2. Turn on the appliance – ironing mode.
3. Wait approximately 40 seconds (Fig. 1). Once the indicator stays on, the device is ready for use.
4. For steaming mode, switch the button to the steaming mode (the steaming indicator is on).
5. The device is ready for use after approximately 10 seconds (Fig. 2).

ACCESSORY AND ITS USE

Important safety information: Always attach and remove the attachments to the appliance that is switched OFF and cool!

The brush attachment opens the fabric fibres to ensure better steam penetration and results. It helps to remove animal hair and lints.

AFTER USE

1. Switch off the appliance by switching the main switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
3. Let the appliance cool down for at least 30 minutes.
4. Open the water tank cover cap and empty the water tank.
5. Rinse the water tank with fresh water and let it dry.

HOLDER INSTALLATION

1. For use on smooth surfaces such as ceramics, glass, marble, wood.

Stick the sticker to the surface of your choice (Fig. 3). Let it dry for about 8 hours. Then you can place the appliance in the holder.

1. If you want to mount the holder directly on a wall, use a screw (mounting material is included in the package, Fig. 4).

Important safety information Before placing the appliance on the holder, make sure that it is completely cool (approx. 30 minutes).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Wait for an hour for the appliance to cool down completely.

2. To clean the appliance, use only a soft damp sponge dipped in water.

3. Never wash or rinse the appliance with running water.

- Packaging materials may be disposed of as sorted waste.

- Dispose the plastic bags made of polyethylene (PE) of as sorted waste.

The manufacturer (or Importer) is responsible for ensuring the product complies with the requirements of applicable legal regulations as well as those of the relevant technical standards. Moreover, they are responsible for ensuring the product has the properties the manufacturer described in documents related to the goods or those reasonably expected by the customer with regard to the nature of the goods or based on advertising produced by the manufacturer, and further they are responsible for ensuring the product is fit for the purpose proposed by the manufacturer or that a product of the same type is normally used for.

The quality warranty term is 24 months from product takeover by the customer.

The warranty does not apply to wear and tear caused by regular use. The customer shall not be entitled to any warranty claims if, prior to taking the product over, they knew the product contained a defect or if the defect is attributable to the customer.

The warranty specifically does not apply:

• if the product installation, operation and service conditions stipulated in the product operating manual have not been adhered to,
  • to malfunctions caused due to mechanical, heat or chemical damage, short circuit, over voltage or incorrect installation.
  • to malfunctions caused by an inexpert third-party intervention,
  • to malfunctions caused by natural disaster,
  • to malfunctions caused by insufficient or inappropriate maintenance in violation of the operating manual, including malfunctions caused by water and other sediments,
  • to changes in colour of the heating surface or to scratching of the surface caused as a result of using the products in an unusual manner,
  • to appearance and functional changes caused by exposure to sunlight, thermal radiation of water and other sediments,
• if the service life of certain product parts expires, e.g. for accumulators, bulbs, etc.

The warranty does not apply to any products and services provided along with the product (gifts, promotional articles, etc.).

Filing a complaint

A complaint against a product defect must be filed as soon as identified, yet no later than before the end of the warranty term.

The customer must file a product complaint with the dealer from which they have purchased the product, or with any authorised service centre, a list of which is included in the product package, or available at www.my-concept.com.

While filing a product complaint, the product must be duly cleaned and securely packed so as to prevent any damage during its transport to an authorised service centre, where relevant, unless the product is delivered in person.

The customer must submit proof of having concluded a purchase contract for the product by producing the receipt.

While filing their complaint, the customer must indicate the noted defect and identify the preferred complaint application method.

Complaints processing

As long as the noted defect may be removed, the user has the right to have the defect duly removed free of charge on a timely basis.

Where such a procedure is not reasonable with regard to the nature of the defect, the user may require to be supplied a new defect-free product (replacement), or, where the defect applies to a part of the product only, replacement of the part concerned. However, if replacement of the product or any part thereof is not proportionate with regard to the nature of the defect, especially if the defect can be removed without undue delay, the customer has the right to have the defect removed free of charge.

If the noted defect is not removable, or if the customer becomes entitled to replacement of the product or a part thereof, yet the replacement is not possible, for example due to the product having been sold out, the customer has the right to return the product (withdrawal from the contract).

The customer shall have the right to a new product (replacement) or to replacement of a part of the product even if the defect can be removed, provided they cannot properly use the product due to repeated occurrence of the defect or due to a high number of such defects. In such a case, the customer also has the right to return the product (by withdrawing from the contract).

If the product is not returned (the customer does not withdraw from the contract), or if the customer does not apply the right to a new defect-free product (replacement), to replacement of a part thereof or to repair of the product, they may request a reasonable discount. The customer also has a right to a reasonable discount if a new defect-free product cannot be supplied to them, or if a product part cannot be replaced or the product repaired unless the situation is remedied within a reasonable time limit, or if remedying the situation would create major discomfort on the part of the customer.

The seller, authorised service centre or a staff member authorised by them must decide about each complaint immediately or within three business days in complicated cases. This term does not include a reasonable period of time, depending on the type of product concerned,

required for the defect to be assessed by an expert. A complaint, including defect removal, must be dealt with without any undue delay, yet no later than within 30 calendar days of the complaint filing date, unless the seller and the customer agree on a later deadline.

On returning the product (withdrawing from the contract) the customer must return any accessories and documents supplied along with the product.

The customer does not have the right to keep the defective parts and components of the product replaced as part of a repair of the product.

This shall be without prejudice to any other rights the customer may have in relation to the purchase of the product.

Remark: Complaints against products damaged in transport are governed by the carrier's complaints procedure.
