Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material poses a suffocation hazard.

WARNING! When choosing the location,
make sure that the positions of the cassette 1 and the fixing post 4 are aligned horizontally. Otherwise the product may warp. This can cause problems with extension and retraction.
Secure and close the product in extreme weather conditions e.g. in strong winds.
Make sure that the unit is properly assembled before use.
Place the product on a solid, level surface.
This product is not a toy and should only be used under adult supervision.
Check the product for damage or wear before every use.
Never use the product close to an open flame.
We recommend that two people assemble the product to avoid injury or damage to the product.
- Do not let go of the handle 2 after you have released it from the fixing post 4. Only release it when the screen is securely in the cassette 1.
Carelessly letting go of the handle 2 can cause damage and/or injury.
The product can be damaged if used in frost.
No maintenance work necessary.
Wind resistance class 1 = Beaufort wind scale 4 = 20 - 27Km / h (branches move, loose paper is lifted from the ground)
Assembly
Use a cross-head screwdriver to attach the wall brackets 5 to the product using the screws 6 (see Fig. A).
Choose a suitable installation area on a wall and mark four holes for the brackets 5.
Make 5 cm deep holes at the marked points using a drill (see Fig. B).
Important: Make sure that the anchor bolts are suitable for the material used. If they are not, enquire about suitable anchor bolts at a hardware store.
- Attach the product to the wall by driving the anchor bolts into the drilled holes using a hammer. Securely tighten the anchor bolts using a spanner.
Choose a suitable installation area on the floor and mark four holes for the fixing post 4. When choosing the location, make sure that the positions of the cassette 1 and the fixing post 4 are aligned horizontally. The fixing post 4 can be installed at a maximum of 350~cm away from the cassette 1. Make 5 cm deep holes at the marked points using a drill ( 8mm) (see Fig. C). Secure the fixing post 4 by driving the anchor bolts 7 into the drilled holes using a hammer.
Securely tighten the anchor bolts using a spanner.
- Opening the screen (see Fig. D)
Hold the handle 2 and pull it to the fixing post 4.
Insert the catch 3 (under the handle 2) into the recess provided on the fixing post 4.
Insert it into the catch 8 on the fixing post.
Closing the screen (see Fig. D)
Hold the handle 2, pull it back, and lift it. Follow the groove to disconnect the handle 2 and the fixing post 4.
Hold the handle 2 and move it back to the cassette 1. Move the handle 2 slowly and horizontally. The fabric will retract into the cassette 1 by itself.
- Cleaning and care
- Allow all the parts to dry thoroughly before you put the product away again. This will prevent the formation of moulds, odours and discoloration.
Clean the product with a slightly dampened, lint-free cloth.
Always keep the product dry and clean at room temperature.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.
Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice - free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 123456_7890) available as proof of purchase.
You will find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed either by telephone or by e-mail.
You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided
to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
