In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the appliance. Do not hang anything on the appliance and do not cover it while it’s working. ∙ Do not use the appliance in rooms with explosive gas or while using inflammable solvents or varnish or glues.10 ∙ If the cordset is damaged and you have to change it, do not do the job yourselves! Take the product to an after sales authorised repair centre or to a person with similar skill and knowledge, in order to avoid any risk of danger. ∙ Do not use this appliance close to showers, baths, swimming pools. ∙ The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is always accessible. ∙ Do not use the appliance if the carbon heating element is frac- tured. Installation of base plate Put the oval base plate on the heating and clip the cable into the slots. Attach the two pieces with the two screws. Safe positioning ∙ The device is not equipped with a thermostat that moni- tors the room temperature. Do not use the device in small spaces when there are people in the room who are not able to leave the room independently, unless constant supervision is provided. ∙ The appliance must be used only on a flat, stable surface. ∙ The appliance must be not accessible for persons who are ta- king a bath or in the shower. ∙ Do not place the cable under a carpet. ∙ Mind that during function the cordset must be always com- pletely pulled out. 500 W 1000 W Oscillation : ∙ Press the Oszillation-Button. ∙ Due to the oscillation (turning) a more equal temperature in the surrounding is achieved. ∙ Never block the oscillation movement. Maintenance ∙ This appliance does not require any particular maintenance. ∙ In case you need to repair it, please contact an authorised repairing center. ∙ If you wish to clean the heater, protection grill or the reflector, unplug the appli- ance and leave it to cool, afterwards wipe the appliance with a humid cloth.
