2. Safety
Intended use
The Flexible Garden Hose Set (hereinafter referred to as the Garden Hose) is intended for the irrigation of patio plants, balcony plants and gardens. It can be connected to taps with external threads ( G 12 or G 34 ). The garden hose is only intended for use in the private sector,
not for commercial use.
Other use or modification of the garden hose is not permitted and may damage the garden hose.
In addition, life-threatening hazards and injuries can result from improper use.
The manufacturer does not assume liability for any damage caused by improper use.
3. Scope of delivery (A)

5. Safety information

Danger of strangulation and suffocation!

If children play with the garden hose or the packaging, they can get caught in it and suffocate!
- Do not let children play with the garden hose or packaging.
Supervise children near the garden hose. - Keep the garden hose and packaging out of the reach of children.

Risk of injury!

Not suitable for children under the age of 8! There is a risk of injury!

Children over the age of 8, as well as persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge, have to be supervised when using the garden and/or be instructed regarding the safe use of the garden hose, understand the resulting dangers.

It is not permitted for maintenance and/or cleaning of the garden hose to be performed by children without supervision.
Prevent the garden hose from being used by unauthorised individuals (especially children)!
- Keep the garden hose in a dry, high, safe place out of the reach of children.

CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Incorrect installation or use may result in injury.
- Make sure that all parts are undamaged and properly installed. Incorrect installation may result in injury. Damaged parts can affect safety and functioning.
- The water pressure has to be monitored properly in order to prevent water under high pressure from escaping and causing injury.
- Do not aim the water jet at people or animals.
WARNING!
Risk of injury!

Never aim the water jet at electrical equipment. There is a risk of electric shock!
- Do not leave the hose unattended during operation.
- The hose is not suitable as a drinking water pipeline/drinking water pipeline component.
CAUTION!
Risk of slipping!
If the ground is wet, you can slip on the ground and get hurt.
- Make sure that the ground near the hose is kept as dry as possible.
- Turn the tap ff when the hose is not in use.
CAUTION!
Damage to property!
Improper handling of the hose can damage the hose.
- Do not route the hose around corners or edges or along pointy or sharp objects. The resulting damage can cause the hose to leak.
- Do not place the hose in areas where vehicles travel. Being driven over can cause the hose to burst.
- Make sure that dirt particles do not block or damage the connections or get inside the hose.
- When not using the hose: Dismount the hose and let out the remaining water from inside the hose.
- To avoid frost damage, dismantle the hose in winter, drain it and store it in a dry place.
6. Check the scope of delivery
CAUTION!
Damage to property!
If you open the packaging carelessly with a sharp knife
or other sharp objects, the hose can quickly be damaged.
- Be very careful when opening.
- Take the garden hose ① and all accessories out of the package.
- Check that the delivery is complete (see "3. Scope of delivery").
- Check to see if the garden hose or the parts are damaged. If so, do not use the garden hose. Contact the manufacturer at the indicated service address.
7.Use
Attach the irrigation sprayer
- Screw the coupling piece with the inner cross onto the garden hose, if necessary.
- Slide the thumb lever forward to "OFF" to close the irrigation sprayer.
- Connect the irrigation sprayer to the coupling piece with the inner cross. To do so, pull the exterior ring downwards, insert the irrigation sprayer and release the ring.
Connect the water tap
- Turn the tap closed.
- If your tap has a G 1/2'' external thread, screw the reducer adapter on 4.
- Screw the plug system ③ onto the tap or the reducing adapter 4.
- Check the tightness.
- Connect the coupling piece without the inner cross ② to the plug system ③. Then, pull the outer ring downwards, insert the coupling piece without the inner cross ② and release the ring.
Operation
- Unroll the Garden Hose ① completely before use.
- Turn on the tap only a little at first and increase the water pressure evenly. The garden hose will roll out.
- Once the Garden Hose is completely unrolled, open the valve on the irrigation sprayer over the thumb lever by turning it back to "ON".
- To adjust the bundling of the water jet, use the control tip of the
irrigation sprayer
To regulate the strength of the water jet, use the thumb lever on the irrigation sprayer.
Thumb lever forwards: "OFF" - water jet is reduced
Thumb lever back: "ON" water jet is increased
Once you no longer need the Garden Hose, shut off the water supply by turning off the tap.
- Open the valve by turning the thumb lever to "OFF" and allow the remaining water to run off. After the water has drained, the Garden Hose will return to its original length.
Storage pouch (A)
To store the article, it can be stowed away into the storage pouch included in the scope of delivery.
After the water has drained away, roll up the hose evenly and stow it away in the storage pouch. You can open and close it conveniently using the drawstring stopper.
Water-stop function
- The coupling piece is equipped with a water-stop function. This makes it possible to remove the irrigation tip from the coupling piece when the tap is open. The water flow is automatically stopped by the water-stop function.

8. Cleaning and care instructions
CAUTION!
Damage to property!
Improper handling of the hose can lead to damage.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brush with metal or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning items, such as knives, hard spatulas, etc. They may damage the surfaces.
- Clean the product with a lightly dampened, lint-free cloth.
9. Disposal


The packaging and operating instructions are made of 100% environmentally friendly materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling centres.
Please find out about disposal options for the product from your local authority or town administration.
10. Warranty
Warranty from TRADIX GmbH & Co. KG
Dear customer, the warranty on this product is 3 years from the purchase date. In the event of defects in this product, you are entitled to exercise your statutory rights against the seller of the product. These statutory rights are not limited by our warranty described in the following.
11. Warranty conditions
The warranty begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt. This document is required as verification of the purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect arises within three years from the purchase date of this product, the product will be repaired or replaced, as per our choice, at no charge to you. This warranty service requires the submission of the purchase receipt and the defective product within the three-year period and a short written description of the defect and when it arose.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, the repaired or a new product will be returned to you. The warranty period does not restart with the repair or replacement of the product.
Guarantee period and statutory claims for defects
The guarantee period will not be extended by the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Damage and defects which may possibly already exist upon purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. After the guarantee period has expired, required repairs shall be subject to a charge.
Scope of guarantee
The device has been carefully produced under strict quality guidelines and conscientiously inspected prior to delivery. The guarantee service applies to material or manufacturing faults. This guarantee does not extend to product parts, which are exposed to normal wear and tear and can therefore be regarded as wearing parts or to damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, battery packs or which are made of glass. This guarantee shall lapse, if the product is damages, not used properly or maintained properly. For proper use of the product, all of the instructions in the operating instructions must be precisely complied with. Purposes and actions, which are dissuaded from or warned about in the operating instructions must be avoided.
The product is only intended for private and not commercial use. In the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and with interventions, which are not performed by our authorised service branch, the guarantee shall lapse.
