Operation and Safety Notes

DREN! Never allow children to play unsu- pervised with the packaging material. There is a danger of suffocation from the packaging material. Children frequently underestimate22 GB/IE the dangers. Children should be kept away from the packaging material at all times. This is not a toy. Do not subject the product to - any extreme temperatures, - severe mechanical stress. Otherwise damage to the product may result. Never open up the product! Have repairs car- ried out only by an electrician or the relevant service centre. Failure to observe this advice may result in damage to the product. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with re- duced physical, sensory or mental capabili- ties or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruc- tion concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.23 GB/IE Do not use the product if it is damaged. Check at regular intervals for damage to the housing and battery compartment. Please note that damage arising from improper han- dling, non-observance of the operating in- structions or interference with the inside of the product by unauthorised persons is excluded from the warranty. Keep the product clean. Fill the product with liquid soap only. Do not immerse the product in water. Failure to observe this advice may result in damage to the product. Only intended for use indoors. Keep batteries / re- chargeable batteries out of reach of children.24 GB/IE If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention. DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable batteries. Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period. Risk of damage of the product Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery!26 GB/IE Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries ac- cording to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product. Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargea- ble battery and in the battery compartment before inserting! Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the product immediately. Before first use Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product. Removing the insulation strip Note: The product is supplied with the batteries already in place. Remove the insulating strip from the battery compartment
be- fore first use.27 GB/IE Operation Inserting/replacing the batteries Make sure the soap container
is empty and the ON / OFF switch
at “O” (OFF) position. Turn the product over and place it on a soft underlay to avoid scratching the surface. Open the battery compartment
(see Fig. B). Insert four 1.5 V (direct current) batteries (AAA / LR03) (included) into the battery compartment
(see Fig. C). Note: Make sure you fit the batteries the right way round (polarity). The correct polarity is shown inside the battery compartment
Then close the battery compartment
again. Filling the container with soap Make sure the soap container
is empty and the ON / OFF switch
at “O” (OFF) position. Remove the cover
Fill the soap container
up to the Max. mark with soap. Ensure that no soap enters the battery compartment
or the in- ner workings of the product. This could damage the product. Place the cover
back into position and close it tightly.28 GB/IE Using the product Turn on the product by sliding the ON / OFF switch
to “I” (ON) position. Place the product on a solid level and non slip surface. Hold your hand between the two sensors
and catch the soap on your hand. During the soap dispensing process, a white status indicator light will light up in the soap container
. As soon as you move your hand away, the status indicator light will goes off automatically. If the product has just been filled, repeat the process until soap is- sues from the soap outlet
Note: To avoid soap become dry out at the soap outlet, frequently clean the soap outlet. Switch off the product by sliding the ON / OFF switch
to “O” (OFF) position, clean the soap outlet with a dry fluff-free cloth. Then, switch on the product by sliding the ON / OFF switch
“I” (ON) position. Cleaning and care DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Do not immerse the product in water. Note: If no longer use, clean the empty soap container
rinsing it with clean water. Fill the soap container
with clean water and repeat this step several times to remove the soap com- pletely. The product may get damaged if the soap is not removed completely.29 GB/IE Use a dry, fluff-free cloth when you are cleaning or polishing the outside of the product. Use a slightly moist, fluff-free cloth and a mild detergent to remove stubborn dirt. Do not use corrosive cleaning agents. These substances may damage the basic material of the product. Troubleshooting = Problem = Cause = Remedy The soap is dispensed slower than usual from the soap outlet
or the product does not work. The batteries are too weak. Replace the batteries (see “Inserting/replacing the batteries”) Water has entered the battery compartment
Allow the battery compartment
to dry completely. Insert new batteries (see “Inserting/replacing the batteries”). Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.30 GB/IE
