Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.

Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

If the appliance falls accidentally into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!
- Do not operate the device if any fault or unusual sign is detected.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and other parts of the body away from the openings and moving parts of the device.
- Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat and stable surface during operation.
- Do not use the device next to windows, as exposure to rain could cause electric shock.
- Do not operate the product under or next to curtains.
- Do not cover the grilles and do not place the product cord under carpets or other objects during operation. Keep the sides, front, and back of the appliance at a minimum safety distance of 20~cm from any object or wall.
- Always turn off and unplug the device when not in use and before moving it to a new location. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use.
- It is not recommended to use the product with an extension lead.
- Cleaning and maintenance tasks should be carried out according to this instruction manual to ensure the correct operation of the device.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.
Instructions on batteries
- Do not disassemble, open, or damage the batteries.
- Keep the batteries out of the reach of children.
- Keep especially small batteries out of the reach of children.
In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
- Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
- Do not short-circuit the batteries. Do not store batteries in an untidy manner, in a box or drawer where they can short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
- Do not subject batteries to mechanical shock.
- Leaks from the batteries can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the batteries. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.
- Pay attention to the positive (+) and negative (-) marks on the battery and the remote-control compartment to ensure they are inserted correctly.
- Do not use any batteries that are not designed for use with the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance if powered with batteries that differ in capacity, size, or type.
- The use of the battery by children must be supervised.
- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
- Always buy the batteries recommended by the appliance manufacturer.
- Keep the batteries clean and dry.
- Wipe the battery terminals with a clean, dry cloth if they become dirty.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE

- Open the box carefully and make sure all parts are inside. This includes the base, blades, aluminium tubes, and any other accessory mentioned in this instruction manual.
- Insert the three aluminium tubes one inside the other. These are telescopic tubes, which means that you can adjust the height of the fan depending on the number of tubes you use.

- Turn the threads counterclockwise to secure the telescopic tubes in position. This guarantees that the tubes are firmly connected and that the selected height remains stable.
- Insert the lower tube into the base. Turn the threads to secure it in place. Make sure that it is securely fastened to provide stability to the fan.
- Place the base on a flat and stable surface. In this way the fan will be level and thus avoid vibrations or unbalance during operation.
- Insert the fan head, which includes the motor and blades, into the top tube of the aluminium tubes. Make sure that the head is inserted correctly.
4. OPERATION
NOTE:
- Ensure that the power cord of the appliance does not create a tripping or falling hazard.
- Always place the fan on a level surface.
- The appliance should be placed in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place. Keep the fan away from heat sources, corrosive gases and avoid direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to move the appliance while it is in operation, ensure that it is switched off before attempting to move it.

Press the icon, to switch on/off the fan.

Press the icon to switch on the light. This fan has three different light intensities. To choose the one you prefer, press the icon several times until you find the one you like. You can switch between them by pressing the icon repeatedly until you reach the one you want.
- Press the icon to set the timer. Each time you press it, one hour of operation will be added. The timer can be set from 1 to 8 hours. If you switch off the fan, the timer will be deactivated.
- Press the icon to change the air direction. Air will come out of the top or the bottom.
- Press the icon to change speed. This fan has nine speeds (1-9). You can switch between them by pressing the icon repeatedly until you reach the one you want.

Note: this is a wireless remote control.
To pair the remote control, first connect the fan to the mains. When you do so, you will hear a beep and the appliance will enter standby mode. Then, press the power button and choose the speed. The information on the display will flash for 8 seconds. Press any button on the remote control and you will hear a beep, indicating that pairing has been completed successfully.
NOTE: before using the fan, remove the film covering the battery.

When adjusting the angle, hold the tube at the same time. This will prevent the amplitude of the oscillation from becoming too large.
WARNING: adjusting the movable joint part of the product to a T-degree will result in damage to the joint function.

Changing the remote-control battery

The remote control requires 1 × CR2025 battery. To change it:

Turn the remote control over and remove the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the dead battery.
- Put a new one of the same type. Observe polarity markings.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution: turn off the appliance and unplug it from the mains before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- Clean the fan with a duster or soft cloth.
- Never use chemical solvents, as they may damage the appliance. Make sure that no water enters the control panel or the fan motor.
- Do not operate the appliance until it is completely dry.
- To store it, place it in its original box or cover it to protect it from dust.
- Store it in a cool and dry place.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
Do not try to repair or disassemble the appliance yourself. This would void the warranty and could be dangerous for you.
The fan does not start up
- Check that the plug is correctly inserted into the socket.
- Check if the Power button was pressed.
- Check that the power cord is properly connected to a power outlet.
The fan moves
- Check that it is placed on a flat surface.
- Check if there are any foreign objects under the fan.
- If it is not any of the above problems, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.

8. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the product and/or batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste.
