USER MANUAL 303143 Brandson

• Use the device for the private and in- tended purpose only. This device is not intended for commercial use. Do not use the device outdoors and keep it away from heat and direct sunlight.

• Please do not keep the device in the immediate vicinity of water sources such as bathtub, shower, washbasin or swimming pool.

• Do not use this device with wet hands.

• If the device becomes moist or wet, pull out the power plug immediately. Maintain your own safety and do not touch any conducve material on the device.16 English

• Protect the device from moisture (this device should not be immersed in liq- uids under any circumstances), sharp edges or large sources of dust.

• Do not keep the device in the immedi- ate vicinity of heat sources (e.g. ovens or heang system).

• Keep it on an appropriate surface so that it does not p over.

• Unplug the power plug when the de- vice is not in use, during transport or during cleaning.

• Never leave the tower fan unaended and choose a locaon in which the de- vice is safe from the reach of animals and children.17English

• Operate the device only with the volt- age menoned on the device label.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and per- sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies or lack of ex- perience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user mainte- nance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Children should be supervised to en- sure that they do not play with the device.18 English

• For the safety of your children, keep the packaging parts away from their reach (plasc bag, foils, carton or pol- ystyrene).

• Do not allow small children to play with the foil or plasc bags as there is a risk of suocaon!

• While operang the device, ensure that the protecve cage is closed.

• The fan, rotary knob and switches should not be blocked!

• It is not allowed to remove the grille for cleaning purposes once the fan is mounted.19English

• Never insert your body parts (e.g. n- gers) or objects through the protec- ve grille.

• Ensure that your hair is not within the range of the protecve cage as it may get caught in the air current.

1. Scope of delivery

The Brandson tower fan has a powerful motor which ensures opmum venlaon even on hot days. Thanks to the three speed levels, dierent venlaon modes and oscillaon, you can adapt the fan to your individual requirements. Take the fan out of the package and check the device as well as the scope of de- livery menoned above. Please contact the vendor if any part is missing or has been damaged. First assemble the pedestal. Then mount the pedestal to the fan. Make sure that you lay the cable over the cable entry. Do not damage it. Then x the pedestal to the fan using the mounng screws. (M5x16mm)22 English

Keep the fan in an appropriate locaon and connect the device to a properly in- stalled power socket. Press the “POWER” buon on the remote control or on the fan to switch the fan on. Press the "OSC" buon on the remote control or on the fan to enable the oscilla- on. Press the "SPEED" buon on the remote control or on the fan to adjust the speed of the fan. Press the "TIMER" buon on the remote control or on the fan to turn on the mer funcon. Press the “MODE” buon on the remote control or on the fan to change between dierent modes. If you hold this buon for 3 seconds, the display will switch o. Press the “DISPLAY” buon on the remote control in order to switch o the display. Key Funcon POWER Switches the device on or o SPEED Changes the speed level of the fan MODE Changes the mode of the fan TIMER Turns the mer funcon on. OSC Turns the oscillaon on or o DISPLAY Turns the display on or o23English The fan has 12 dierent mer levels that can be set up to a maximum duraon of 12 hours in one hour steps. For this purpose, press the "Timer" buon on the remote control or the operang panel of the fan. Increase the duraon of the mer by pressing the buon repeatedly. Press the "MODE" buon to set the fan mode. Here you can choose between three dierent modes. Mode Funcon The fan rotates constantly at the adjusted speed in "Normal" mode. You can enable the swing funcon if you select this mode. The fan rotates slowly in the “sleep” mode. The speed level de- creases every half hour unl it is at level 1 (assuming the mode starts at a higher level). The display will go into standby mode aer 30 seconds. If you have set this mode, you can enable the swivel funcon. The fan rotates quickly in the "Natural" mode. You can enable the swing funcon in this mode. Aenon! Pull out the power plug from the socket before starng with the cleaning process! Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning (weed with water). For cleaning, never immerse the device into water! This could lead to electric shock or re!

7. Safety instrucons and liability disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not cered for use in the open air; only use it in dry condions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibraon as this might damage elec- tronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe naonal regulaons and restricons. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instrucons. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteraon to the device not carried out by the original sup- plier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instrucons. The device specica- ons may change without any separate prior noce to this eect.

8. Disposal instrucons

Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Direcve and not with household rubbish.
