1. Important safety guidelines for this
- Use the device for the private and intended purpose only. This device is not intended for commercial use. Keep it away from heat and direct sunlight.
- Please do not keep the device in the immediate vicinity of water sources such as bathtub, shower, washbasin or swimming pool.
- Do not use this device with wet hands.
- If the device becomes moist or wet, pull out the power plug immediately. Maintain your own safety and do not touch any conducve material on the device.
- Protect the device from moisture18 English (under no circumstances should the device be immersed in liquid), sharp edges or large sources of dust.
- Do not keep the device in the immedi- ate vicinity of heat sources (e.g. ovens or heang system).
- Keep it on an appropriate surface so that it does not p over.
- Unplug the power plug when the de- vice is not in use, during transport or during cleaning.
- Never leave the heater unaended and choose a locaon in which the de- vice is safe from the reach of animals and children.
- Operate the device only with the vol- tage menoned on the device label.
- This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and per-19English sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies or lack of ex- perience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning the safe use of the device and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the de- vice. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children or untrained personnel.
- Keep the device and its connecon ca- ble out of reach of children under 8 years.
- For the safety of your children, keep the packaging parts away from their reach (plasc bag, foils, carton or po- lystyrene).
- Do not allow small children to play with the foil or plasc bags as there is20 English a risk of suocaon!
- While operang the device, ensure that the protecve cage is closed.
- Never remove the cage for cleaning.
- Never insert your body parts (e.g. n- gers) or objects through the protec- ve grille.
- Ensure that your hair is not within the range of the protecve cage as it may be singed by the heat.
- If the power cable of this device is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his aer-sales service or by an equally qualied person, so as to prevent any risk.
- Allow the device to cool down before cleaning it, or pull the power plug out of the socket.
- Wipe the device housing with a damp21English cloth and dry it subsequently with a clean dry cloth. Never immerse the housing in water for cleaning.
- Once the heater is assembled, the pro- tecve cage should not be removed.22 English
- This device is not equipped with any mechanism to control the room tem- perature.
- Do not use this unit in small rooms if the rooms are occupied by persons who cannot leave the room inde- pendently. Unless they are constantly monitored.
- Children between the age of 3 and 8 should be allowed to switch the de- vice on /o only if it has been setup or installed in its intended operang posion, if care has been taken to supervise or instruct concerning the safe use of the device and the asso- ciated risks have been understood. Children between the age of 3 and 8 years should not be allowed to con- nect the device to the power supply,23English to make any sengs, clean or repair the device.
- The device should be securely placed on a horizontal level surface.

2. Scope of delivery
The Brandson heater ensures focussed radiaon of heat with three independently controllable heang elements. With three dierent heang levels and adjustable inclinaon angle, you can adjust the heater to your individual requirements. Input voltage 220 - 240V AC Power input

Take the heater out of the package and check the device as well as the scope of delivery menoned in the table above. Please contact the vendor if any part is missing or damaged. As shown in Figure (A), insert the lower tube (8) through the hole in the pedestal cover (9) and the pedestal (10). Ensure that the welded end is below and guide the extra ap into the shoulder of the pedestal. Fix the tube by screwing the L-screw (12) through the washer (11) into the lower end of the tube. Then x the middle tube (7) to the top of the lower tube (8). Now pull the straight tube (3) out from the top. Turn the mounng ring (4) in clockwise direcon to press it together. Then x the upper tube (5) to the middle tube (7). Secure it using a M6*12 screw (2). Turn the mounng ring (4) as shown in Figure (A) in the counter-clockwise direcon to loosen it and to posion the heang element at the desired height. Figure (A) also shows how to aach the power cable to the cable clip (13). The inclinaon angle of the heater is up to 25°. Simply adjust it to the desired posion. This is shown in Figure (C).
Drill four holes in the desired place for the wall bracket. Ensure that there are no gas, water or electricity lines running through the wall. Fix the bracket (4) to
A28 English the holes. Then, install the wall bracket (2) with the corresponding self-tapping screws (3). Connect the wall bracket to the heang element (C) and x the two elements using the thumbscrew (5).
Keep the heater at an appropriate locaon and connect the device to a properly installed 220-240V AC socket. By pping the protecve cage, you can change the angle of inclinaon according to your needs. Flip the switch (14) on the back of the control unit to "1" to acvate the device. The heang process is not yet complete! The device is inially in input mode. By pressing the ON buon on the remote control or the control panel, you can turn on the rst level. By pressing the "MODE" buon, you can increase the level, or reduce the level from the highest to the lowest. If you press the OFF buon on the remote control, the device is not switched o completely. It goes to a power-saving standby mode and can be acvated again at anyme. Due to the lt protecon it switches itself o.
Pull out the power plug from the socket before starng with the cleaning process. Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning. The device should not be immersed in wa- ter for cleaning under any circumstances. This could lead to electric shock or re!
10. Safety instrucons and liability disclaimer
Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not cered for use in the open air; only use it in dry condions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the de- vice to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibraon as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe naonal regulaons and restricons. Do not use the device29English for purposes other than those described in the instrucons. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteraon to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instrucons. The device specicaons may change without any separate prior noce to this eect.
11. Disposal instrucons
Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Direcve and not with household rubbish.
