USER MANUAL 304416 Brandson
- Read the manual completely before using the product!
- Before using the fan heater, check whether the voltage indicated on the rang plate matches that of your mains supply!
- Do not pull the cable if you want to disconnect the plug from the power source. Always pull the plug itself!
- Never block the fan of the appliance. This could damage the appliance or result in a re or electric shock!
- Never block the air inlet of the fan heater!
- Disconnect the plug from the power source if the appliance is not being used! Do not leave the fan heater unaended!
- This appliance emits a lot of heat during operaon. Therefore, touch only the operang controls. In case of16 English doubt, use heat-resistant gloves.
- Keep ammable materials such as pillows, paper, clothing, curtains or other highly ammable objects away from the fan heater!
- This appliance is intended for person- al use only!
- Cauon! The fan heater is not suit- able to be used in conned areas if they are occupied by persons who are not able to leave the room or the vehicle by themselves.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children without supervision.
- This appliance can be operated by children from 8 years of age and above, as well as by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacies or who lack knowledge or17English experience, if they have been super- vised or instructed regarding safe use of the appliance, and understand the resultant dangers.
- Children should not play with the appliance!

Please read the following user manual carefully so as to be able to get the most from the product you have purchased. Before using the product, rst check that the delivered item is complete, accurate and undamaged.
1. Scope of delivery
The Brandson fan heater is a praccal alternave compared to a convenonal heater. Warm up the desired area using the fan heater so that low temperatures become a thing of the past. Power supply 220-240 V AC / 50 Hz Power consumpon 2000 W Features • 2 heat sengs
Take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Place the fan heater on a level and at surface so that the lt protecon at the boom is not actuated. Connect the appliance to a 220-240V AC socket. To start the fan heater, press the "Power" buon on the control panel or on the remote control. The fan heater now starts to heat. Press the "Temperature" buon to adjust the desired temperature. The display shows the set temperature above the buon on the fan heater. The heater will start heang if the set temperature is higher than the room temperature. The fan heater has 3 heang modes. Operang controls Oscillaon On/O Timer On / O Mode buon Power buon Temperature buon ECO mode Heat level indicator You can navigate through the dierent heang modes by pressing the "Mode" buon. The default seng of the temperature in this mode is 24°C when the ECO energy saving mode is selected. Based on the current temperature and the target tem- perature of 24°C, the heater automacally selects the heang level to reach the target temperature.
Use 2x 1,5V AAA baeries for the remote control. All the funcons that can be performed using the remote control have the idencal funcon as those on the control panel of the fan.
To turn the oscillaon on or o, press the "Oscillaon" buon on the control panel at the top of the fan or on the remote control.
You can enable the mer funcon by pressing the "Timer" buon. The currently congured mer stage is displayed.
Thanks to the lt protecon at the boom of the heater, it switches o automat- ically if the appliance lts over. Please place the appliance only on even and at surfaces.
WARNING: The heater should not be covered to avoid overheang.
Overheang generally occurs only if one of the openings of the fan heater is cov- ered, blocked or clogged. This appliance has overheang protecon. The heater switches o automacally once the overheang temperature is reached. If the ap- pliance is therefore turned o for this reason, disconnect the plug and wait for 30 minutes. Then try to switch it on again. Please contact customer service if this does not happen. Aer switching o the appliance, the fan connues to run in cooling phase unl it completely shuts down.
12. Cleaning and maintenance
Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance. Do not use any aggressive or chemical cleaning agents. Use a dry, so cloth. Ensure that you do not touch the heater elements when cleaning!25English
13. Safety instrucons and disclaimer
Never try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modicaons. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not ap- proved for outdoor use. Therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temper- atures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibraons, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other manner. Please comply with the local regulaons and restricons. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modicaon to the appliance, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specicaons of the appliance may be changed without any special prior nocaon.
14. Disposal instrucons
In line with the European WEEE direcve, electrical and electronic appliances should not be disposed of along with domesc waste. Their components have to be sent separately for recycling or disposal, as improper disposal of toxic and dan- gerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic ap- pliances to the manufacturer, the point of sale or public collecon points at the end of their service life. 15. Instrucons for baery disposal
In conjuncon with the sale of baeries along with the supply of appliances that include baeries, the supplier is obliged to point out the following to the custom- er: The customer is legally obliged to return used baeries. He can return used baeries which the supplier oers or has oered as new baeries in his assort- ment free of charge to the supplier's dispatch warehouse (shipping address). The symbols shown on the baeries indicate the following: Pb = baery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by weight, Cd = baery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by weight, Hg = baery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by weight.
