USER MANUAL 303828 Brandson

• Use the device only for private and in- tended purposes. The product is not intended for commercial use.

• Do not place the product near water sources such as bathtubs, showers, washbasins, or swimming pools.

• Do not use this product with wet hands.

• Protect the product from moisture, sharp edges, or large sources of dust. Never immerse the product in liquid.

• Choose a suitable surface to prevent the device from pping over.

• Never leave the fan unaended and select a place where animals or chil- dren cannot be within reach.12 English

• This device may be used by children 8 years of age and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or men- tal abilies or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been super- vised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the result- ing hazards.

• Children are not allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user mainte- nance must not be carried out by chil- dren without supervision.

• For the safety of your children, do not leave any parts of the packaging (plas- c bags, foils, cardboard or polysty- rene) within reach.

• Do not let young children play with foil or plasc bags. There is a danger of choking!13English

• The fan and the rotaon control must not be blocked!

• Never insert body parts (e.g. ngers) or objects into the fan.

• Make sure that no hairs are within reach of the fan. These can be sucked in by the air ow.

• Allow the device to cool down com- pletely before touching or cleaning it.

• Wipe the cabinet with a damp cloth and then dry it with a clean, dry cloth. Never immerse it in water for cleaning.

• ATTENTION: Danger of burns! Always make sure that you only touch the device when it has cooled down com- pletely.14 English

• Only use this device with a free-stand- ing replace or stove. The device is not suitable for built-in stoves, replaces or other replaces.

• If you want to move the fan, be sure to li it from above. Protect yourself from high temperatures, e.g. with heat-re- sistant gloves.15English Thank you for choosing a Brandson product. 1. Scope of delivery

Take the device out of its packaging and remove any packaging material. Place the fan on a suitable, level surface. Ensure correct posioning (see chapter 5.) You can use the included thermometer as a reference for an opmal posion. Aenon! The thermometer gets hot as the fan when you put it on an oven! Allow the device to cool down completely before cleaning! Use a cloth slightly moistened with water for cleaning. Never immerse the device in water to clean it.

7. Safety instrucons and liability disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not cered for use in the open air; only use it in dry condions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the de- vice to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibraon as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe naonal regulaons and restricons. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instrucons. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteraon to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instrucons. The device specicaons may change without any separate prior noce to this eect.

8. Disposal instrucons

Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Direcve and not with household rubbish. Components must be disposed of or recycled separately as dangerous, toxic elements can inict sus- tained damage on the environment if they are disposed of incorrectly.
