General Notes
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this appliance to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
- Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket.
- The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
- Use only original spare parts.
- In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

Special Safety Information for this Appliance

WARNING:
- Only use the appliance with the appropriate base.
- Switch the appliance off before removing it from the base!
- Never place the appliance on a source of heat.
- Pay attention that no water comes in contact with the appliance adapter.

WARNING: Risk of burning!
- When you remove the jug after heating, the hotplate on the base and the bottom of the jug are still hot!

Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the packaging of the appliance.
- Remove all packaging material such as plastic film, filler material, cable ties and box packaging.
- Check that all the parts are in the box.
- Do not operate the appliance if package contents is incomplete or appear damaged. Return it immediately to the dealer.
NOTE:
There may still be dust or production residues on the appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning".
Notes on Use
Location
A skid-proof, even surface is suitable as installation location.
Electrical Connection
- Ensure that your mains power corresponds with the specifications of the appliance. The specifications are printed on the type label.
- Connect the mains cable to correctly installed and earthed socket.
Multifunction button
Press 1x = Hot (glowing red)
Press 2 × = Warm (flashing red)
Press 3x = Cold (glowing blue)
Press 4x = 0
Jug
Should you remove the jug from the base during operation and replace it on the base within approx. 1 second, the previously selected function will continue.
Seals
The tool holder and the lid are equipped with a seal. Be sure that the seal rings are always properly secured in place.
Capacity
The jug holds between 120 and 300ml . Refer to the scale on the jug:
MAX 120ml (maximum quantity for frothing)
MAX- 300ml (maximum quantity for stirring)
Frothing Milk

CAUTION:
Observe the capacity marking MAX, otherwise the milk will foam over.

NOTE:
- For optimum results use milk with 3.5% fat content and fill in 200 ml.
- Milk with 1.5% fat content and soy milk or lactose-free milk does not froth as well.
Heating up Drinking Chocolate / Hot Chocolate

CAUTION:
- Please add cocoa or chocolate only after you have filled in the milk.
Cut the chocolate into little pieces and do not fill in too much chocolate. - Do not fill above the MAX - mark, otherwise the beverage will overflow.
If you want to make hot chocolate, take off the froth beater.

Operation
- Place the desired attachment on the tool holder. Place the tool holder with the attachment centrically in the jug.
- Fill the liquid into the jug.
- Put on the lid.
- Place the jug on the base.

- Lift the lid before transferring the contents to another container.
Cleaning
WARNING:
- Always pull the power supply plug before cleaning.
- Allow the appliance to cool down.
- Never immerse the base in water for cleaning. It could result in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive items.
- Never use sharp or scouring cleaning materials.
Base
Clean the base with a clean cloth from the outside, without any additional cleaning agents.
Jug, Lid, Mixing attachments, Tool holder and Seals
Always clean these pieces immediately after use.
- Remove the tool holder with the used mixing attachment by pulling it upward out of the jug.
Only rinse the parts by hand with a soft cloth while adding a mild dishwashing detergent.
- You may remove ingrained dirt with a nylon brush.
- Then rinse with clean water and dry off the parts.
Storage
- Clean the appliance as described and allow to dry completely.
- We recommend that you keep the appliance in the original packaging if the appliance will be not used for long periods.
Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children in a dry, well ventilated place.
