USER MANUAL MS 3089 CLATRONIC

- The appliance is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use.
- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
- Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician.
- Use the appliance only for the intended purpose.
- Keep the appliance away from heat, direct sunshine and sharp edges.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- Store the appliance out of the reach of children. Children may not play with the appliance.
- In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
Do not allow small children to play with the plastic foil. There is a danger of suffocation!
- We recommend that you keep the appliance in the original packaging if it will not be used for long periods.36 MS3089_IM_new 29.07.21 Handling of Batteries Do not charge! Insert correctly! Do not disassemble! Danger of explosion! Do not expose batteries to in- tense heat, such as sunlight, re or similar! Do not short circuit!
- Batteries can leak battery acid. If the appliance is not in use for a long period of time, remove the batteries.
- In case of battery leakage, make sure not to rub the liquid into your eyes or mu- cous membranes. In case of contact, wash your hands and rinse your eyes with clear water. Seek medical attention if any discomfort persists.
- Different battery types or new and used batteries must not be used together.
- Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic wastes. Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collection bin or at your dealer’s. Before Initial Use Please wipe off the milk foamer with a moist cloth before initial use or when it has not been used for a prolonged period. Inserting the Batteries (Batteries are not supplied)
1. The battery compartment is located under the on / off switch. Push open the bat-
tery compartment lock to the side.
2. Insert 2 batteries of type UM3 “AA” 1.5 V. Ensure the correct polarity (see the
imprint on the outside)!
- For best results, use milk with a 3.5 % fat content. Milk with a fat content of
1.5 % as well as soya milk or lactose-free milk will produce less froth.
- Fill the container to just one fourth with milk, as the volume increases consider- ably during the frothing.
- With your milk foamer you can also prepare small quantities of salad dressing, mixed drinks, shakes and egg white.
1. Fill the milk into a suitable container, for example a glass.
2. Completely immerse the stirring rod with the spring into the milk.
3. Keep the push-button pressed down to turn on the appliance.
4. Move the stirring rod in the container up and down evenly, until the desired foam
volume is created. The spring must always remain in the liquid with this.
5. If you release the push-button, the appliance will be shut off automatically.
6. Wait for standstill of the spring, before removing the stirring rod from the foam.
7. Use a spoon to remove the milk froth.
8. Immediately clean the appliance after each use.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water. The electronic components can be damaged.
- Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
1. Clean the housing with a slightly damp, but not wet cloth.
2. Rinse the mixing rod with the coil under hot, running water.
3. After cleaning, dry all parts well with a dry, soft cloth.38
