How to connect the device to the water supply?
Connect a garden hose to the water supply connection of the device, then open the water tap. Do not use a coupler with Aquastop on the device itself.
How to use detergent?
Use the Vario Power lance in MIX position. Insert the Plug 'n' Clean bottle upside down into the holder. Apply detergent to a dry surface, let it sit, then rinse at high pressure.
What pressure levels are available?
The levels are indicated on the gun: HARD for stubborn dirt, MEDIUM for cars and bricks, SOFT for wood and bicycles, and MIX for detergent. Adjust with the Vario Power lance.
How to clean the water filter?
Unscrew the water supply connection, remove the sieve, clean it under running water in the opposite direction. Do not use sharp objects or metal brushes.
What to do if the device does not start?
Check that the gun lever is operated, the voltage matches, and the cable is not damaged. If the motor is overloaded (thermal protection), turn off the device and let it cool for 1 hour before trying again.

Why is water leaking inside the Kärcher K4 Power Control pressure washer?
Frequently Asked Questions - 03/22/2026
Response Notice-Facile

If water is leaking inside your Kärcher K4 Power Control pressure washer, it may indicate a sealing issue or an internal leak. Here are the steps to identify and resolve this problem:

1. Check the connections and hoses

Ensure that all connections, hoses, and fittings are properly installed, tightly secured, and in good condition. A damaged or improperly attached hose can cause water leaks inside the unit.

2. Inspect the seals

Worn or damaged seals can allow water to pass through. Inspect the seals on the connections, pump, and other accessible parts. Replace them if necessary.

3. Check the detergent tank

If you are using a detergent tank, make sure it is properly closed and does not have any cracks or leaks that could cause internal leakage.

4. Immediate shutdown and cooling

In case of an internal leak, immediately turn off the unit and allow it to cool down before proceeding with any handling to avoid any electrical or mechanical hazards.

If the problem persists after these checks, it is recommended to contact a specialized after-sales service for a thorough diagnosis and appropriate repair.
