Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. Familiarise yourself with the operation, adjustments and functions of switches. Internalise and follow the safety and operation instructions in order to avoid possible risks and hazards.

- Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the appliance rating label.
- Never use a damaged appliance! Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet and contact your supplier if it is damaged.

- Do not allow your skin to come into contact with the hot surfaces of the straightening plates; pay particular care to your face, neck, and hands.
- Place the appliance on heat-resistant surfaces only. Do not place on carpets, bedding, towels etc.
- Use a comb with shorter hair and place it between the appliance and scalp.
- Before use make sure that the hair is clean, dry and combed.
- Do not use the appliance too close to the scalp.

After unpacking, clean the product (Cleaning and care). - Run the product 2 or 3 times. Then switch off the product and let it cool completely.

Operation
1 Connecting to power: Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical outlet.
2 Unlocking appliance: Push the lock switch to the power cord side.
3 Switching appliance on: Press the on/off button for 2 seconds.
The ceramic plates start to heat up and the default temperature of 140^ appears on the display for a moment.
4 Adjust the ceramic plates' temperature between 140^ and 220^ in increments of 10^ by pressing the temperature buttons:

The current temperature setting is shown on the display, as the temperature buttons are pressed.

The appliances switches itself off after 30 minutes if it has not been switched off manually already
Switching appliance off: Press the on/off button for 2 seconds. The display goes off.
6 After use: Unplug the appliance and place it on a heat-resistant surface to let it cool.
Locking appliance (button lock): Push the lock switch to the display side.
Straightening

Caution
Make sure your hairs are completely dry before using the appliance.
Comb your hairs through with a wide toothed comb (not provided) to remove tangles.
8 Starting close to the roots, take a thin section of hairs (strands of max. 3-4 cm) and clamp.
Danger of burns! Parts of the appliance become very hot during use. Hold the appliance by its handle only.

Note
During operation, the built-in ioniser makes your hair shiny and frizz-free.
Gently run the appliance through the entire length of the hairs, slowly and steadily, from roots to the ends without stopping for longer than 4 to 5 seconds. This will ensure best straightening results without damaging your hairs.
Creating flicks
10 You can create flicks at the hair ends by slowly turning the appliance either outwards or inwards before releasing a strand.

Creating curls
With this appliance you can also create loose curls and waves.
Starting close to the roots, take a thin section of hairs (strands of max. 3 to 4cm ) and clamp it firmly between the styling ceramic plates.
12 Turn the appliance half a turn.
13 Now slowly move the appliance horizontally towards hair ends and the strand will turn into curl.

Cleaning and care

Warning
Before cleaning, make sure to switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the electrical outlet and let it cool completely.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
Clean the appliance with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Make sure that no moisture is entering the appliance during cleaning.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp implements to clean your appliance.
Dry the appliance thoroughly after cleaning.
Storage
- Store the appliance in the pouch, in a cool, dry location, away from children and pets.
