Warning! Do not use this product near water or heavy moisture; e.g. in a damp basement or beside a swimming pool or bathtub.

- This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

- Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

- A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the manufacturer or a workshop commissioned by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.

- When the product is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the product is switched off.

- For added protection, we recommend that a residual current device (RCD) with a maximum rated residual current of 30 mA be installed. This may only be installed by an expert.

- Keep the appliance out of the reach of young children while it is switched on or cooling down.

- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected to the mains.

- If the appliance is placed on the iron rest, it must be ensured this surface is stable and heat-resistant.

  5. In the event of improper use or wrong operation, we do not accept any liability for resulting damages.

  20. When placing the product out of your hand during use, always switch it off for safety reasons and put it on it's stand on the table.
  21. Never use sprays or water misters near the product while it is in use.
  22. Danger of burns! Some components of the product may be very hot during operation. Therefore, touch the product only on the handle.
  23. Even when leaving the room briefly, always pull the plug and put the product in its stand on a table.

Before first use

Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please observe applicable legal provisions. Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal, contact your local waste management center. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately. After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care.

Curls styling

Divide the hair before styling. Smoothen out the underlying strands first.

1 Plug the mains plug into a wall socket.
2 Press the on/off switch to turn on the product.

3 Set a temperature.

Hair type Temperature level
Fine, dyed or bleached120°C - 140°C
Normal 160°C - 180°C
Thick or strong 180°C - 200°C

4 The set temperature is shown on the display.
5 Press down the lever and place a strand of hair between the curling iron and clamp tongue.

Note:

• Thinner streak for smaller curls
• Larger streak for broader waves

6 Now, rotate the curling iron in order to wrap the hair around the rod. Wait for about 10 seconds, until the lock has formed.
7 Again unwind the strands of hair from the curling iron and open the clamp tongue. Allow the hair to cool before styling.
8 Turn off the product after use.

Auto-switch off

For safety reason, the product will switch off automatically after 60 minutes.

Cleaning and care

Note: Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents, metal, or pointy objects for cleaning.

9 Disconnect the power plug and allow the device to cool off prior to cleaning.
10 Clean the exterior surfaces of the product with a small brush or dry cloth. Caution: Never submerge the device in water or any other liquid while cleaning.
