Why is my wine cellar making noise?
Noises such as clicking, gurgling, or crackling are normal: they come from the refrigerant flow and wall contraction. If the noise is excessive, check that the appliance is level and resting on a stable floor.
What is the maximum capacity of the Candy CWC 154 EEL wine cellar?
The capacity is approximately 154 bottles, distributed over 6 sliding shelves and 2 wine racks. The bottom rack can hold up to 6 additional bottles.
How do I clean the interior of the wine cellar?
Unplug the appliance and empty the bottles. Clean the interior with a solution of warm water and baking soda (2 tablespoons per liter). Do not use abrasive products. Wipe the bottom if condensation has accumulated.
What should I do in case of a power outage?
Do not open the door. If the outage lasts less than 20 hours, the internal temperature remains stable. Beyond that, check the condition of the bottles and consume them quickly. For long absences, unplug and leave the door slightly open.
Can I reverse the door opening direction?
No, the door on this model is not reversible. It only opens from one side (by default). Check the manual for the delivery orientation.
How much space should I leave around the wine cellar for proper ventilation?
Leave at least 10 cm at the back and sides to allow air circulation around the compressor. Install the appliance away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
What does the error code E1 on the display mean?
The E1 code indicates a problem with the temperature sensor. Contact an authorized after-sales service for diagnosis and repair.
How can I save energy with my wine cellar?
Place the appliance in a cool, ventilated area, avoid opening the door too often, do not store hot bottles, and regularly clean dust from the back. Set the temperature according to the recommended program.
