How do I set up my wine cellar without a wifi connection?

Good news: your CANDY CWC 200 EELW/NF wine cellar works perfectly without wifi. The wifi connection is entirely optional and is only used for remote control via the app.

Preparation before plugging in

Remove all packaging and protective foam
Leave the appliance in an upright position for at least 2 hours before plugging it in (essential for the cooling system after transport)
Clean the interior with lukewarm water and a soft sponge

Installing the cellar

Position it on a stable floor capable of supporting its loaded weight
Leave at least 10 cm of space at the back and sides for compressor air circulation
Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources
The ideal ambient temperature is between 22 and 25°C

Setting up without wifi

Simply plug the appliance into a grounded wall outlet. On the first start-up, the cellar automatically configures itself in "Red wine" mode at 16°C.

Using the 4 control buttons:

On/Off: Press to turn the appliance on or off. The internal lighting automatically activates and turns off after 15 seconds
Program: Press to select your type of wine: Red wine, White wine, or Champagne
Temp °C: Set the temperature from 7°C to 18°C according to your preferences
Lighting: Control the internal LEDs

Recommended temperatures by type of wine

Red wine: 15.5-18.5°C (preset: 16°C)
White wine: 10-15°C (preset: 12°C)
Champagne: 7.2-9.5°C (preset: 8°C)

Once the program is selected and the temperature is set, the appliance starts immediately. You only need wifi if you want to control your cellar remotely via the Candy Simply-fi app.
