What to do if the buttons are locked?
The device has an automatic button lock after 5 seconds. To unlock, press the - button (H) for 2 seconds. The temperature lock unlocks in the same way.
How to activate the ionic function?
Press the Ions button (J) to turn on the ionizer. The ion indicator light (F) will display. Negative ions neutralize static electricity in the hair. To turn off, press the same button again.
How to straighten hair with this straightener?
Comb a strand of about 3 cm. Place it between the straightening plates (C) near the root. Close the clip and slide the device gently from root to tip without stopping. Repeat strand by strand.
How to create curls or waves?
Place a strand between the straightening plates (C) near the root, close the clip. Give the device a 180° rotation to wrap the hair around the plates. Pull gently towards the end to form a curl. The curved curling plates help create dynamic curls.
How to clean the Grundig HS 7730 straightener?
After turning off and unplugging the device, let it cool completely (about 45 minutes). Clean it with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the device or cord in water. Do not use harsh cleaning products.
How long does it take for the straightener to heat up?
The straightener reaches 100°C in 30 seconds and the maximum temperature of 210°C in 110 seconds thanks to the turbo heating function (press and hold + for 2 seconds).
What to do if the power cord is damaged?
Do not use the device. Have the cord replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service center, or a qualified person to avoid any risk of electric shock. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
Why does my straightener turn off by itself?
The device is equipped with automatic shut-off after 60 minutes of non-use. This is a safety feature. If you are using it, it will stay on. Otherwise, turn it off manually and unplug it.
Is this straightener suitable for fine or fragile hair?
Yes, thanks to the temperature setting from 80°C to 210°C. For fine, porous, colored, or bleached hair, use a temperature between 80°C and 170°C. Always start with the lowest temperature.
