How to adjust the pulp amount in the juice?

The pulp amount is adjusted by opening or closing the filter sieve. In the open position, pulp is more abundant; in the closed position, it is reduced.

Why does the motor change rotation direction?

The motor runs as soon as pressure is applied to the cone and may reverse its direction to optimize juice extraction. This is normal.

How to clean the appliance?

First unplug the appliance. Clean the motor unit with a damp non-lint cloth. Wash the accessories (cones, sieve, container) with warm water and a mild detergent immediately after use.

Can I immerse the motor unit in water?

No, to avoid any risk of electric shock, never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid. Clean it only with a damp cloth.

Should you peel citrus fruits before pressing?

No, simply cut the citrus fruits in half and press the cut side onto the cone. The peel stays in place.

How to store the power cord?

The appliance has a cord storage under its base. After use, wind the cord and store it in this compartment.

What to do if the appliance does not turn on?

Check that the plug is properly inserted and that the voltage matches that on the rating plate. If the problem persists, contact customer service. Do not attempt to repair yourself.

How to assemble the parts for use?

Attach the motor shaft to the motor unit. Place the juice container on the shaft and turn it counterclockwise to lock. Insert the small cone into the sieve, then place the sieve into the container. For large fruits, add the large cone on top.

Can I press lemons or grapefruits?

Yes, the appliance is suitable for all citrus fruits. Use the small cone for lemons and the large cone for oranges and grapefruits.

What is the warranty period?

The manufacturer offers a two-year warranty from the date of purchase against any material or manufacturing defects. Keep the receipt as proof.

Before using the appliance, please read the following instructions carefully and keep this manual for future reference. The appliance must only be used by persons familiar with these instructions.

Connection to the mains supply

Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label. This product complies with all binding CE labelling directives.

Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.

This appliance may be used by children (at least 8 years of age) provided

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance and fully understand all dangers and safety precautions involved.

Children must not be permitted to carry out any cleaning or maintenance work on the appliance unless they are supervised and at least 8 years of age.

Before first use

Before the juicer is used for the first time, it must be cleaned as described in the section Cleaning and care.

Power cord storage

There is a power-cord storage compartment in the base. Unwind the cord to the required length before use. Wind up the cord after use.

Operation

• Fit the drive shaft to the main unit.
• Attach the juice container to the drive shaft. Turn the container anti-clock-wise until it is heard locking into place.
• Fit the smaller juicer dome into the pulp sieve, pushing it down until it is heard locking into place.
• Fit the pulp sieve with the juicer dome onto the juice container.
• When processing larger citrus fruits such as oranges, the larger juicer dome can be fitted over the smaller one; ensure that the recesses on the larger dome fit over the ridges on the small dome.

Hint

The pulp amount in the juice can be adjusted by opening or closing the pulp sieve:

= sieve opened higher pulp content
= sieve closed lower pulp content

• Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.
• Cut the citrus fruit in half and push one

of the halves lightly down onto the dome with the cut section facing downwards.

The drive shaft will start rotating automatically once pressure is applied to the dome. The appliance switches off when pressure on the dome is lifted.
- For better juice extraction, the motor can rotate in either direction and may also change direction during operation.
- When processing larger quantities of fruit, the pulp sieve must be emptied from time to time as necessary.
Always remove the plug from the wall socket before pouring out the juice.
- To pour out the extracted juice, remove the pulp sieve and the dome from the juice container, then unlock the juice container from the main unit by turning the container clockwise.
- Store the juice in a suitable container.

Cleaning and care

Before cleaning the appliance, remove the plug from the wall socket.
- To avoid any risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with liquids or immerse it in a liquid.
- Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or hard brushes for cleaning.
The main unit may be wiped with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
The detachable attachment parts should be thoroughly cleaned immediately after processing, using hot water and a mild detergent.
For periods of non-use, attach the pulp sieve, the juicer domes and the dust cover to the main unit after cleaning.

Disposal

which can be recycled. Proper disposal protects the environment and human health. Your local authority or retailer can provide information on the matter.

This product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any parts found to be defective, providing the product is returned to one of our authorised service centres. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired or interfered with by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse.

This guarantee naturally does not cover wear and tear, nor breakables such as glass and ceramic items, bulbs etc. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights, nor any legal rights you may have as a consumer under applicable national legislation governing the purchase of goods.
