USER MANUAL SV 50 STEBA

The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capa- bilities or lack of experience/knowledge, provided that are su- pervised or have been provided with instruction in the safe use12 of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers. Children must not use the packaging as a toy. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised. ∙ Children under the age of 8 must be kept away from the appli- ance and the connecting cable. ∙ The appliance must not be operated using a timer or a separate remote system! ∙ After using the appliance or if the appliance malfunctions, al- ways pull out the plug. ∙ Never pull at the cord set. Do not chafe it over edges or squeeze it. ∙ Keep the power supply cord away from hot parts. ∙ Never leave the appliance unattended when operating. ∙ Do not put anything on the appliance. ∙ Do not leave the appliance outdoors or in a damp area. ∙ Never immerse the electrical part into water. ∙ Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged (for example if device is dropped or fallen into the water). ∙ The manufacturer is not liable for damage occurred by using the appliance in another way than described or if a mistake in operating has been made. ∙ To prevent injury, repairs should only be carried out by custo- mer service. ∙ The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped. ∙ Caution! Device becomes hot. After unplugging, the heating element will remain hot and should not be touched or placed on combustible surfaces. ∙ When using an extension cable, ensure that children do not pull on it and that there is no risk of tripping.13 Cleaning and care ∙ Always unplug from the mains before cleaning. ∙ Allow device to cool to room temperature. ∙ Do not immerse electrical part in water. ∙ The pot can be cleaned in warm water with normal commercial washing up liquid. ∙ Hygiene: in any case you need to clean the device if vacuum bags became leaky during the cooking and food floates directly into the water. ∙ To clean the Sous-Vide Cooker proceed as described: ∙ Cleaning supplies: ∙ 1 pot with at least 18cm height and a diameter of max. 25cm ∙ 1 liter of vinegar in food-grade ∙ Due to minerals in our tap water, some scale may occur on the heating elements and the housing of the device after heating the water. Setting the device Installation ∙ The appliance is suitable only for heating water, everything else blocks the pump. ∙ Safely install the device. ∙ Pay attention, that the water together with the food reaches the marking “max”. ∙ Plug in the device. ∙ If the water level is “min”, EE1 appears on the display and the device beeps three times. By pressing once again the button , you can set the minutes. ∙ The set time starts to count down once the desired temperature is reached. ∙ Confirm all settings by pressing the button . The device starts working. ∙ If you want to change the settings during operation of the device, press the button for 3 seconds and repeat the steps described above. ∙ Once the set time has count down, “END” is shown in the display and the device beeps. ∙ If you want to turn off the device, press the button for 3 seconds. Water quantity Do not put too much water in the device - leave sufficient room for the food. If neces- sary, top up water until Max.
