What are the dimensions of the battery charger connector?
Frequently Asked Questions - 7 j
Response Notice-Facile

The connector of the Black & Decker NV1999 charger is proprietary, and its precise dimensions are not documented in the technical manual for this model. The connector in question (referenced as number 7 in the documentation) is specific to this 2.4 V handheld vacuum cleaner.

To correctly identify this connector, you can:

  • Physically examine the female connector located at the back of your NV1999 and compare it with photos of the male connector of the charger
  • Approximately measure the outer diameter of the connector (usually between 4 and 6 mm for this type of 2.4 V battery)
  • Check that the male connector fits into the female socket of the device without forcing it

Before ordering a replacement charger, contact Black & Decker providing your model number NV1999 to obtain the exact replacement part or consult an authorized Black & Decker distributor who can offer you the compatible charger. The standard charging time for this model is 16 hours with an input voltage of 230 V AC.

Never attempt to tinker with or modify the connector, as this could damage the NiCd/NiMH battery or create short-circuit risks. If the connector is damaged, replacing the entire charger is recommended.
