How to customize the LED backlighting?

Press the LED mode selection button until reaching the Customization mode. Then, hold down the + key to turn off all lights, then press the keys you want to light up. Press + again to save.

How to activate game mode?

Press the Game mode button (usually marked with a controller logo). The corresponding indicator lights up and the Windows key is disabled.

What to do if a key stops responding?

Check the USB connections, then perform a factory reset (hold Fn + Esc + Space until the backlight flashes twice). If the problem persists, contact HyperX support.

How to adjust volume directly from the keyboard?

Use the volume control wheel located at the top right. You can also mute the sound with the volume mute button.

Does the keyboard have a wrist rest?

No, the Alloy FPS Pro model does not have an integrated wrist rest. It can be purchased separately.

How to clean the keyboard?

Unplug the keyboard. Use a soft dry cloth for the surface. For the keys, you can remove them with the provided tool and clean them with soapy water. Let them dry completely before reassembling.

What are the different backlighting modes?

Six modes: Static (constant lighting), Breathing (slow blinking), Trigger (lights up on press), Explosion (radial effect), Wave (horizontal scrolling), and Customization (manual key selection).

Is the keyboard compatible with consoles?

Yes, the Alloy FPS Pro works with PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, and other devices with a USB port. However, some software functions may not be available on console.

How to perform a factory reset?

Simultaneously hold the Fn + Esc + Space keys for a few seconds until the backlight flashes twice. This clears all custom settings.

Can I replace the switches myself?

No, the Cherry MX switches are soldered onto the motherboard. Replacement requires desoldering and is not recommended without experience. Contact a professional or HyperX support.

Keyboard Installation:

1- Connect both USB connectors to the computer.

Function Keys:

Function Keys	Secondary Feature
	Change the LED Backlight brightness. There are 4 levels of brightness: OFF, low, medium and high.
	Switch between the LED backlight modes.
	Enable Game Mode disable the Windows key and prevent accidental interruption during gaming. When Game Mode is enabled the indicator will illuminate.
	Play/pause skip backwards or skip forward while listening to music or watching videos.
	Mute computer audio.
	Increase or decrease computer audio volume.

LED backlight modes:

There are six LED backlight modes: Solid (default) Breathing Trigger Explosion Wave Custom.

Solid: Constant lightning (default setting).

Breathing: Slow rhythmic blinking that mimics breathing.

Trigger: Individuals keys will light up when pressed and slowly fade after one second.

Explosion: A lighting effect will radiate from individual keys when pressed.

Wave: Keys will light up from left to right in a wave pattern.

Custom: You can choose which keys you want to light up.

Follow these steps to customize:

1- Switch the backlight mode to Custom.

2-Hold until the backlight turns off.
3- Press the key or keys you want to have backlight ON.
4- When finished, press again to save your custom backlight profile.

Keyboard factory reset:

If you are experiencing any issue with the keyboard you can perform a factory reset. You will lose your custom LED profile by doing this.
