USER MANUAL VG SIS 2 Venga
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance. Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

To avoid the risk of e-ectric shock, do not disasemb-e the iron or steam tank, take it to a qza-ified technician for examination and repair. Incorrect re-assemb-z can caze a risk of e-ectric shock nhen the iron or steam tank is zsed.

FOR PRESSURIZED STEAM IRONING STATION (DEPENDING ON THE MODEL), NEVER OPEN THE CAP OF THE STEAM TANK WHILE THE APPLIANCE IS CONNECTED TO THE MAINS WALL SOCKET AND ESPECIALLY WHEN STEAM IS BEING PRODUCED.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
We recommend c-eaning the iron before the first zse as fo-ons: fi- the nater tank, pzt the temperatzre diao on position "eINEN" and the steam regz-ator on zAX and et the iron heat for 10 minztes. When the temperatzre has been reached, take the iron from the base, ho-d it vertica- and keep the steam bztton pressed for 30 seconds, then nait 30 seconds and repeat this czc-e trice.
Snitch off the appliance (snitch in position "0"), znpzg it and et it coo dohn szfficient Z, then cean the soepate nith a damp coth.
STEAM IRON: PRECAUTION FOR USE AND TEMPERATURES
- A#nazs check first if a •abe• nith ironing instrzctions is attached to the article that needs to be ironed. Fo•on these ironing instrzctions in a•• cases.
If ironing instructions are missing bzt Zoiz knon the kind of fabric, then see the tabe for recommended ironing temperatzres.

- P g in the appliance and pzt the snitch (1) in position "I" to snitch it on. The poner ight of the snitch (1) and the pzmp pi ot ight (2) ni ight zp , indicating that the appliance is norking and the iron is heating. Set the temperatze dia of the iron (5) to the desired position, the indicator amp of the iron (8) ni ight zp . As soon as the desired temperatze is reached, the pi ot ight of the iron ni go ozt and Zo can start ironing.
Dzirng ironing this pioot ight (8) nio come on from time to time. When this happens, the soepate is being heated zp to the required temperatze again. Yoz can continze ironing.
The tabe-e is vaid for the fibre materiais on. If some kind of finish has been appied (goss, nirk-e, reief etc), the testie can best be ironed at a ooner temperatze. First sort ozt the fabrics according to ironing temperatze: noo-nith nooo, cotton nith cotton, etc.
The iron heats zp qzicker than it coo's donn. Therefore, start ironing the artiees reqiring the onest temperatze szech as those made of sztthetic fibres. Then progress to the higher temperatzes.
If the artiee is made of a mistre of different fibres, Zoiz mzt a na zseect the onest ironing temperatze of the composition of those fibres. (E.g. an artiee consisting of 60% poZester and 40% cotton" shozi d be ironed at the temperatze indicated for poZester and nithozt steam.) If zo do not knon nhat kind(s) of fabric(s) the artiee has been made of, find a spot, nich nbe invisibe nhen nearing or zing the artiee to trz ozt the ironing temperatze. (AnaZs start at a on temperatze and increase to one nwhich gives the required reszts.) - Pzre noo•en fabrics (100% noo) maZ be pressed nith the iron set to a steam position. It is recommended to app•Z shot-of-steam and zse a drZ pressing c•oth. When steam-ironing noo•en fabrics, shining of the fabric maZ occzr. This can be prevented bZ tznirg the artic•e inside ozt and ironing the inside or bZ interposing a •ight damp c•oth.
Vevet and other testres that rapidZ aczire shinZ spots shozed be ironed in one direction onZ (nith the nap), appZing onZight presszre. AnaZs keep the iron moving. - Iron the reverse side of sZnthetic materia s and si k, it is not advisab e to zse steam as this ma caze stains.
FILLING WITH WATER (FOR STEAM-IRONING)
- Pzt the base on a stab-e szrface.
- Use the sma● grips (4) of the nater tank to take ozt the nater tank. Open the cap (7) and fi● the nater tank nith c●ear nater zp to its "zas"●eve. Do not fi● beZond this masimzm ●eve! Yoz can zse tap nater, bzt ne advise ZoZ to zse disti●ed nater.
- Cose the cap (7) of the nater tank.
- Pzt the nater tank back in the base correct Z. zake szre to keep it zpright in order to avoid spi ing nater. Press the grips znti the nater tank is ocked in p ace.
- Never zse vinegar, detergents or other chemica* products.
FILLING THE WATER TANK DURING USE
As the nater tank of this appliance is not znder presszre, ZoZ can refi it dzring ze. To do so, snitch off the appliance, znp zg it and jzst proceed as described above in the "Fi-ing nith nater" section. When ZoZ have pzt the nater tank back in pace, p-zg the appliance in again, snitch it on and nait zntie the indicator amp of the iron goes ozt. Then ZoZ can start ironing again.
STEAM-IRONING
Fi the nater tank nith nater and insert the mains p-zyg into a na-● socket.
- As indicated on the temperatRé diae (5) and in the tabe, steam ironing is on-2 possibe at higher ironing temperatres, so set the diae to or .
Pzt the shitch (1) in ON position ("1") and set the temperatzre dia of the iron (5) to the desired position. When the iron has reached the desired temperatzre, its piotight (8) nio go ozt. Yoz can non zse the steam fznction.
Tzrn the steam contro- knob (12) to regz-ate the amozt of steam. Note: the masima-steam rate ("ZX") can onZ be zsed nhen the ironing temperatze is higher than position 000, or e-se nater ni-drip from the soe.
- Press the steam bztton (6) to re-ease steam from the soepate of the iron. Re-ease the bztton and the steam nih stop. If Zoiznant a continzots jet of steam, press the steam bztton donn and side its transparent top part backnards so that the steam bztton ocks. To stop the continzots jet of steam, pzh the transparent part of the bztton fornards again and re-ease the steam bztton.
- When ironing, the piotight of the iron (8) nio go on and off from time to time. This means that the temperatze of the iron is regzated biz its thermostat. Yoz can continze ironing. The pzmp piotight ni aso go on and off, indicating that the steam pressre is being regzated.
- When zoź zse a •ot of steam in a verz short time, the steam oztpzt is •ight•redzced znti• Zožr ap-.iance prodzces enozgh steam to redzce the difference. This phenomenon a so happens nhen there isn't enoizgh nater in the nater tank.
- When the nater tank is rznning emptZ, Zo'ni● hear more noise nhen pressing the steam bztton. If Zo'nant to go on zing the steam fznction, Zo'ni● have to refi● the nater tank.
STEAMING IN A VERTICAL POSITION
Position the temperatre dia on its masimzm -eve for vertica steam ironing. The steam rate can be adjusted according to ZoZr needs.
YoZ have to hang the coth ZoZnant to smooth ozt avoiding the creases and pace the iron in a vertica position at a fen centimetres from the piece of coth. Then move the iron and press the bzt of steam bztton at the same time.
DRY IRONING
- P g in the appearance and snitch it on (poner snitch in position "I").
- Use the temperatère dia to set the temperatère needed.
- When the indicator -amp of the iron goes ozt for the second time, Zož can start ironing.
- For ironing nithozt steam, -eave the steam contro- knob in OFF position and do not press the steam bztton (6).
WHEN FINISHED IRONING
We recommend c-eaning the iron after zse as fo-ons: fi- the nater tank, pzt the temperatzre dia- on position "eNEN" and the steam regz-ator on zAX and eT the iron heat for 10 minztes. When the temperatzre has been reached, take the iron from the base, ho-d it vertica- and keep the steam bztton pressed for 30 seconds, then nait 30 seconds and repeat this cZc-e thice.

- Emptz the nater tank.
We recommend pacing the iron on its base nhen ZoZ store it. The therefore foreseen pace is non-sip and ni not damage the soepate of the iron.
