USER MANUAL Heat Wave Style 1000 SUNTEC

GB This product is not suitable as the main heater. This product is only suitable for well-insulated rooms or for occasional use.

Thank you for purchasing this product of the brand Suntec Wellness. Before the first use, please read the manual carefully. Keep it for later reference and hand it over to its new owner, if you give the appliance to another person.

Safety Precautions

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position a

nd they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

• Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance

corresponds with the voltage at your home.

• The appliance is only intended for indoor use, do not use it outdoors! For use in bathrooms, a minimum distance of 60~cm to all pipe installations, wash basins, bath tubs and showers is required! Please refer to the following sketch and place/install the appliance only in zone 3! The appliance must not be used near swimming pools or in sauna rooms! Install the appliance in zone 3 only!
• Never let the appliance unattended and keep children away from it! For the same reason, the appliance should not be operated with automatic timer Switches!
• Never cover the appliance and ensure that sufficient distance to inflammable materials is provided! Otherwise there will be a risk of fire and explosion!
• To avoid the risk of an electric shock, never insert any objects into the body or through the guard of the appliance.
• The metal housing of the appliance can become very hot during operation. To avoid blurns, never touch it during operation and keep children away from it! When you stop using the appliance, let it cool down for an adequate amount of time before you touch or store it. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains, if you do not use it for long time!
• Prior to every use, ensure that the appliance is undamaged and in perfect condition, in this case, the appliance should not be connected to the mains, especially if housing, cord, or power plug are damaged,
• The heating element (the plate behind the guard inside the appliance) can break, if the appliance falls.
  Examine the heating element before every use. Do not continue to use the appliance, if the heating element is

broken!

• Never open the appliance on your own. Please contact your seller, if repairs are necessary.
• This product is intended for household use only.
• This heater must not be placed directly under a wall outlet.
• Please do not place the heater right next to bath tubs, showers or swimming pools.
• Do not use multiple sockets or extension cords.

Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not use the heater.

Installation and first use

• Take the appliance out of the packaging and remove the protective bag.

• If you wish to use the appliance at different locations, mount the supplied stand leg. Ensure that they are mounted securely with the provided screws. Then place the appliance on an even, firm and clean surface, and follow the safety distance between appliance and other objects:

• Always place the appliance with a sufficient safety distance to inflammable materials or gases.

• For installation in bathrooms, a minimum safety distance of 60~cm in all directions to all pipe installations, wash basins, bath tubs and showers is required! Please follow the sketches in section 1!

• Ensure that housing, heating element, power cord and plug are not damaged.

• Only use outlets with a mains voltage that corresponds to the rated voltage of for appliance. This appliance requires a voltage of 220-240V, 50/60 Hz and a current of not more than 15A. Only connect the appliance to an outlet after checking the voltage.

Operating Klimatronic Heat Wave Style

• It consists of two switches, a thermostat control, and a power setting switch.
• At first the thermostat control should be turned clockwise to full position. The appliance starts then to warm the room at maximum power. The red indicator light shows this visually!
• When the desired room temperature is reached, you can turn the control back to the position where the appliance tum off (you will hear a "click" and the green indicator lights up).

• LCD display of the room temperature of -9^ to 50^ . When this function is selected, temperature and time are shown on the display.

• 15^ - 35^ Heiztemparatur select: Automatic heating and temperature control is activated after selecting the temperature setting.

(II) Application KLIMATRONIC HEATWAVE LCD

• Turn on the power-on switch on the panel. Then the indicator light for instant ambient temperature is on, showing the instant temperature value. The displayed temperature ranges from -9^ to 50^ . Meanwhile, the indicator lights for temperature and timing are on.
• Pressing on the power key (ON/OFF/Power key) Turn on the power key will start the heater. The power indicator light will be on. Through continuous operation of the power key, select the high heat mode low heat mode (the low heat indicator light will be on) shut-down mode (both power and character indicator lights will be off).
• Press the mode key and the indicator will glitter. After pressing the "+" key or "-" key to select timing range (1 to 24 hours), the indicator light enters a lasting lighting state.
• Press the mode key again, and the indicator light will glitter. Then press the "+" key or "-" key to select temperature range (15°C — 35°C). The indicator light enters a lasting lighting state.
• After power configuration, the LCD screen displays instant temperature. When the temperature rises to the preset value, the heater stops heating. The power indicator light is off and its character indicator light is on.
• Press the "OFF" key, and the indicator light for ambient temperature and timing character will be on, while other character indicator light will be off. After the heat mark glitters for several seconds, the heater stops working.
• Module indicator light turns red.

The room temperature will automatically be kept at the set level. The appliance will turn itself on periodically if the room temperature drops below the desired level.

The first time the appliance is used, light odours might occour. This is related to manufacturing processes and disappears quickly!

The appliance implements a tilt safety device, If the appliance falls over inadvertently, it turns itself off automatically. Once it is in its original position again, it will turn itself on automatically again.

Cleaning

• Always disconnect the appliance from the mount before cleaning it! Make sure that is has cool down completely!
• Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp and clean cloth und dry it with a dry cloth afterwards.
• Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals, only use mild detergents.
• Never disassemble the appliance for cleaning.
• Never rinse or spray the appliance with water!

Troubleshooting

• If the appliance malfunctions, check the following points first:
• Check the connection to the mains outlet and make sure that the outlet is live (e.g. plug in a lamp and check if it lights up),
• Check if the appliance is turned on
• Check if the appliance stands on a firm surface. Uneven or tilted positions can trigger a tilt safety switch. If that is the case, adjust the position of the appliance accordingly.

In case of complaint

• You can claim the device within 24 months from date of purchase (receipt).
• A free replacement or repair will be excluded from prior improper product handling.
• Defects in wear parts, consumables, as well as cleaning, maintenance or replacement of said parts are therefore with costs.
  If you want to make a complaint, please bring the entire device in its original packaging and with proof of purchase to your dealer. For a timely and convenient service register, visit our website www.suntec-wellness.de and learn more.
• Without a proof of purchase, generally there will be no repair or replacement.
• In the event that the complaint case is analogous to our terms of service, all defects of the device or its accessories due to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated by repair or, at our discretion, replacing the unit.
• The damage of accessories does not automatically lead to a free exchange of the whole device. In these cases, please contact your dealer. Glass breakage, or breakage of plastic parts are always to charge.
  The dealer or repair service can perform the repair after the expiration of warranty against charge.

Note Concerning Protection of Environment

This product must not be disposed of via normal household waste after its service life, but must be taken to

a collection station for the recycling of electrical and electronic devices. The symbol on the product, the operating instructions or the packaging indicates such disposal procedures. The materials are recyclable in accordance with their respective symbols. By means of re-use, material recycling or any other form of recycling old appliances you are making an important contribution to the protection of our environment.

Please ask your local council where your nearest disposal station is located.

As part of our extended producer responsibility, this product is indicated in accordance to the European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The aim is to avoid, reduce, and environmentally friendly disposal of electronic waste. Please help actively to protect the environment and dispose electronic waste through local collection points. The packaging and this manual can be recycled.

During the 24 months warranty we guarantee to repair your appliance free of charge or to provide your seller the spare parts free of charge if the appliance fails to work due to production failure. Other claims are excluded from this warranty. We will not be liable for any defects caused by acts of nature, improper use, negligence of the instruction manual, damage from continuous use and damages during transportation.
