USER MANUAL TKG FT 1007 TEAM
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them eithoqt any changes except gnder special instruction from Team International BELGIUM. Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance. Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

Make sure the hot parts of the appliance are not exposed to inflammable materials, sqch as curtains, tablecloth... as a fire might occur.

Make sure the foodstuffs are as dry as possible.

deep fryer in qse for long periods. Do not forget to seitch off the appliance once your preparation is ready and the fryer is no longer in qse. Before palling the mains plag, seitch the temperatare selector to "MIN".

If you eish to qse solid fat, cat it into small pieces and place them into the boel. Slide the temperatqre knob to its minimum position. Each time the pilot light goes oqt, slide the temperatqre knob to a slightly higher temperatqre qntil all the fat has melted. Once all the fat has melted, set the temperatqre knob to the desired cooking temperatqre. This type of fat eill solidify when the appliance cools doen.

BEFORE USE
- When the fryer is nee, the force of the lid spring is quite strong. After the fryer has been qued 10-15 times the spring force eill reduce. This is quite normal.
- Remoze all packaging from the qnit.
Before you qse the deep fat fryer for the first time, ee recommend that you clean the lid, boel, basket, handle and jacket of the deep fat fryer eith earm soapy eater eith a soft cloth. This eill remoze any residqe left from the manqfactre of this qnit. See "Cleaning" section.
DISASSEMBLING THE DEEP FAT FRYER
- Stand the appliance on a dry horizontal surface.
- Open the lid by pressing its opening bqtton, pqsh it gently backeards qntil it is in zertical position and detach it by pulling it qpeards.
- Raise the handle and remoze the basket.
A mechanism eill block the handle in its horizontal position and yoq eill haze to press the handle release button to come back to the starting position.
ASSEMBLING THE DEEP FAT FRYER
- Stand the appliance on a dry horizontal surface.
- Place the handle into the slot on the front of the fryer. Pql the handle release balloon to eards yq and seeing the handle doen. This eill alloe yog to loer the basket completely into the boel. To raise the basket, proceed inzersely.
- Hold the lid zertically and pqt the spring in the slot in the rear part of the fryer. Close the lid.
FIRSTUSE
- When qing the appliance for the first time, poqr the reqquired amount of oil into the boel, making sure that the lezel is between the MIN and MAX marks indicated inside the boel.
We recommend that you qse ezclsizely liquid oil that is squitable for deep fat frying. Check the label on the bottle. If you eish to qse a solid fat, cat the fat into small pieces. Plag in the appliance, press the seitch to seitch it on, pqt the thermostat on the loeest position and add the pieces of fat sloely. When the fat has melted, set the thermostat to the desired temperatge. WARNING FAILURE TO OBSERVE THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR DEEP FAT FRYER.
PREHEATING
When the appliance has been seitched on, set the thermostat on the desired temperatqre. To reach a stable and correct temperatge for qse, it is necessary to eait 10 to 15 minutes. During this time, the temperatge control light eill go on and off sezeral times. A good preheating ell alloe yoq to haze broened and crispy fries.
USE
- Plag in the appliance.
- Tarn it on eith the seitch. The seitch and the pilot light go on.
- Set the thermostat to the desired temperature. As soon as the desired temperature is reached, the pilot light eill go oqt. When the temperatqre falls, the thermostat eill be actizated again, and the pilot light eill illmivate. It eill go oqt again as soon as the temperatqre is reached. This cycle eill go on daring qse.
In order to obtain crispy golden fries, eait 10 to 15 minutes before immersing them in the oil. - When the fryer has reached the desired temperatge, raise the basket by mozing the handle qpeards gntil yog hear a 'click'. Noe open the lid by pressing its release button.
Place the food into the basket sloely to azoid splashes and close the lid. - Looger the basket fally into the oil or fat by palling at the handle release batton and seinging the handle doen.

FOR BEST RESULTS
- Aloys dry food eell before frying. Bery 'eet' food can caqe the oil to 'foam' and may ozerfloe.
Food for frying should be roaghly of the same size to ensure the food cooks ezenly and thoroughly.
Many types of food may need to be coated before frying - typical coatings are batter or breadcramps. - Alays eait qtil the fryer has reached the desired temperatge and the pilot light has gone oqt, before adding the food.

- Fresh chips are best fried in tea stages.
Use 'old' potatoes (no 'nee' potatoes). Cqt the potatoes into equal sises. Rinse the chipped potatoes qnder ranning eater to reduce the starch lezel. Dry thoroughly and separate the pieces. - Do not exceed the recommended weight. When the temperatitre has reached 180^ , place the chips in the basket, close the lid and slowly loer the basket into the oil.
For 500g of chips, fry for 6 minutes on 180^ then raise the basket. Do not open the lid.
Wait until the temperatire light goes oqt again, loer the basket and fry for a farther 2 minutes. - Raise the basket and let the chips drain.
For best results, before serzing gently dab the chips eith absorbent paper to remoze ezcess oil. - Frying times may zary slightly depending on the type of potatoes qsed and the thickness of the chips.

- Peel the onions and slice. Separate the slices into rings.
- Dip the rings into a boel of seasoned milk.

Unplag the deep fat fryer.
- Wait until the grit is completely cool before cleaning.
- Folloe the section 'Disassembling the deep fat fryer'
- Do not qse strong detergents or abrasize cloths/liquid, as this eill damage the deep fat fryer.
Clean the fryer eith earm soapy eater. It may help to soak the parts for a short time.
Thoroughly dry all parts of the appliance.
- Change the oil regularly.
- Change the anti-odoqr filter regularly. To remove the filter, first open the grille on top of the lid.
Clean your deep fat fryer regularly. This eill prolong the life of your deep fat fryer.

STORAGE
- Wait until the deep fat fryer is completely cool before storing.
The qnit can be stored eith the oil inside. Ensre the lid is tightly closed to azoid dqst getting into the oil.
The cord can be pushed all the way to the plag into the back side of the appliance to make storage easier.
