Insert/Replace Battery in Remote Control NOTE: Where necessary, the lithium cell in the battery compart- ment of the remote has been fitted with a protective foil for transport.Thisextendsthelifetimeofthebattery.Before initial use please remove this foil to prepare the remote for use. The battery in the remote is a long-life lithium cell. Should the range of the remote shorten during use, follow the steps below:

Operate your iPod/iPhone/iPad as normal, while it sits in the docking station. General operation I/ (14 and 8 on the unit) Press I/ button to switch the device into standby mode (display will show the time). Press this button again to turn on the device. VOLUME +/- (Volume) (8) Adjusttoyourpreferredvolumelevel.Thedisplaywillshow “VOL” and a number. This will equal to the set volume of “VOL 40” or “VOL 00”. headphone jack (14) When listening via headphones, please use headphones with a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug which you will connect to the head- phone jack. 5. Depending on the iPod/iPhone/iPad Model, firstly re-

lease the button lock and start playing music if necessary with the /AUTMEMbutton(3).

6. Follow your iPod/iPhone/iPad manual for further use of

the controls. CAUTION: Stop playback before unplugging the iPod/iPhone/iPad from the port since the iPod/iPhone may otherwise be damaged. NOTE: If you have an incoming call when playing back music with the iPhone docked, then playback stops and you can hear the ring tone. iPod/iPhone/iPad Charging YouriPod/iPhone/iPadbatteryischargedassoonasthe iPod/ iPhone/iPad is docked.
