Please read this instruction manual thoroughly prior to using this appliance! Follow all safety instructions in order to avoid damage due to improper use!
Keep the instruction manual for future reference. Should this appliance be given to a third party, then this instruction manual must also be handed over.
The blades are very sharp! Handle the sharp blades with utmost care, especially during removing and cleaning, in order to avoid injuries.
- Never clean the appliance with your bare hands. Always use a brush.
- Do not touch any moving parts of the appliance. Do not attach or remove the parts until the unit comes to a complete stop.
Always keep hair, clothing and any other utensils away from the appliance during operation in order to prevent injury and damages.
The appliance is intended for household use only.
- Check if the mains voltage on the rating label corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the appliance from the mains is to pull the plug from the receptacle.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
For additional protection, this appliance should be connected to a household residual current device with a rating of no more than 30mA . Consult your electrician for advice. - Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or power plug in water or in other liquids.
Always disconnect the power plug after using the appliance and before assembling/disassembling or cleaning the product, or if you are leaving the room or if a fault occurs. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord. -
To prevent damage to the power cord by not squeezing, bending or rubbing it on sharp edges. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces and open flame.

This does not apply to the latter if they were instructed in the use of the appliance or if they use it under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety. Children should always be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Before using of the appliance for the first time, carefully clean all parts which come into contact with food. Please see full details in the "Cleaning and care" section.

Do not operate the appliance without ingredients in the jug.

Never place the appliance, accessories, power cord or plug on hot surfaces such as gas or electric burners or hot oven surfaces and never use with hot liquids or food. Let hot food and liquids cool down to min. 80^ or lower before using the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use. It is designed for chopping food only.
- Never operate the appliance for longer than necessary for processing the food.
- Never use the appliance with damp or wet hands.

Operate the appliance with supplied parts only.
The appliance has been designed for processing food and liquids in common household quantities. Do not operate the food chopper with the jug filled with liquid.
Cut the food into suitably sized pieces about 1 to 2 cm and place in the jug in small quantities. -
Do not use the appliance if the blades are damaged or show signs of wear.
Always use the appliance on a stable, flat, clean and dry surface.
Make sure that there is no danger that the power cord could be accidentally pulled or that someone could trip over it when the appliance is in use.
Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is always accessible.
A spatula may be used to remove the food from the jug. The appliance must be switched off before doing this.
This appliance is not suitable for dry or hard foods as this will quickly cause the blades to become dull. - Remove bones and stones from food to prevent the blades and the appliance from becoming damaged.
In order to reduce the risk of injury, never attach the blades of the appliance onto the base unit, if the chopper is not seated properly.
Make sure that the lid is seated properly on the chopping jug before you switch on the appliance.
- Never operate the appliance for longer than necessary for processing the food.
- To prevent overheating, do not use the appliance continuously for more than 10 seconds. Leave to cool for 1 minute in between each 10 second operation.
Hold the appliance firmly at the top of it while operating.
While operating use the appliance pulse wise instead of using it constantly.
- Ensure that you use the appliance with its own rubber pad.

Ingredients:
3 tomatoes, seeded
1 red onion
1 garlic clove
1 red bell pepper
1 jalapeno chilli pepper, seeded
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Peel the onion and place with the, garlic, bell pepper and chilli pepper into the jug of the appliance and pulse until the ingredients are coarsely chopped. Gradually add the tomatoes, cilantro and salt and pulse a few times until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

Notes
- Your Chopper has been designed for processing small quantities of food and should not be used for any other purpose.
- Do not chop extremely hard items such as coffee beans, nutmeg, grains, ice or bones. Remove stalks from herbs, shells from nuts and bones, tendons and gristle from meat.
The appliance should be unplugged when not in use.
Preparation
1 Remove all packaging and sticker materials and dispose them according to the applicable legal regulations.
2 Before using the appliance for the first time, clean parts which come into contact with food (see the "Cleaning and care" section).
3 Cut the food into small pieces before using the appliance.
Chopping
Caution
Do not touch the chopping blades with your bare hands.
1 Place the upper chopping blade D on lower chopping blade F. Mount chopping blades D and F on the fixed shaft G in the jug E.

Note
Do not use chopping blade F separately.
2 Put the food that you would like to prepare in the jug E.
3 Fit the inner lid C in correct position on the jug E. Make sure to rotate the inner lid clockwise so that the three notches on the inner lid C are locked in the channels on the jug E.

4 Mount the base unit B on the inner lid C on the jug E.
5 Insert the plug into the wall socket.
6 Press and hold the operation switch A. - The appliance starts operating.
Notes
You can press the operation switch A intermittently to activate the "PULSE" function of the appliance. You can obtain a better quality of chopping with the "PULSE" function.
The operation switch A allows you to use two speeds; low speed with gentle pressing and high speed with firmer pressing.
7 Release the operation switch A to finish the operation. Disconnect the plug from the wall socket.
Notes
Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 10 seconds.
If the ingredients stick to the sides of the jug, scrape them off with a spatula and continue the chopping operation.
8 Remove the base unit B and the inner lid C Take out chopping blades D and F carefully. Remove the chopping blade D from the chopping blade F. Remove food from the glass jug E

Do not touch the blades with your bare hands. The blades are very sharp.
Cleaning and care
Caution
- Never use petrol, solvents or abrasive cleaners, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance.

1 Turn the appliance off and disconnect it from the wall socket.
2 Let the appliance cool down completely.
3 Use a soft damp cloth to clean the exterior of the base unit B and then wipe it dry.
4 The jug E, chopping blades D and F, and lid C can be washed in the dishwasher on the upper shelf.
5 Store chopping blades D and F after you clean and dry them.
Caution
- Never put the base unit or power cord in water or any other liquids and never hold them under running water.
Note
Before using the appliance after cleaning, dry all parts carefully using a soft towel.
Storage
If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully.
Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and completely dry.
Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
Store it in a cool, dry place.
Make sure the appliance is always kept out of the reach of children.
