How to install the air conditioner without drilling?
Attach the exhaust hose to the rear (fig. A), then place the adapter in the gap of a window or French window. Use the supplied suction cups to keep the window slightly open (fig. B and C). No drilling is required.
How to clean the air filters?
Turn off and unplug the appliance. Remove the intake grilles by rotating them outward. Take out the white purification filter and filter holder. Vacuum the dust or wash the filter with warm water (<40°C). Let it dry completely before reassembling. Clean at least once a week.
What to do if the indicator light 14 is on?
The light indicates that the condensation water storage tray is full. Empty the tray by removing the drainage plug at the rear of the appliance. If the light remains on after emptying, contact the after-sales service.
Why is the air conditioner not cooling the room?
Check that windows and doors are closed, except for a slight opening for air renewal. Ensure that the exhaust hose is not bent, blocked, or disconnected. Clean the air filters if they are dirty. Keep all heat sources (direct sunlight, heating devices) away from the room.
Can I use the appliance outdoors?
No, the appliance is designed only for indoor domestic use. Do not install in damp rooms or without air renewal. Respect a minimum distance of 50 cm from any flammable substance.
What is the safety distance from flammable materials?
Maintain a minimum distance of 50 cm between the appliance and any flammable substance (alcohol, solvents, pressurized containers). The refrigerant R-290 is flammable; in case of leakage, ventilate the room and cut off all heat sources.
The air conditioner stops after a few minutes of operation, why?
This may be due to a kink or obstruction in the exhaust hose, or folds in the hose. Extend the hose properly and check that there is no obstacle to the air exhaust to the outside. The safety device may also activate if the condensation tray is full.
How to drain the condensation water?
Remove the plug from the drainage hose located at the rear of the appliance to empty the storage basin. Also remove the tray collecting the condensation water, empty it, and put it back. For continuous drainage, you can connect a hose (not supplied) to the drain.
Can I use an electrical extension cord?
No, avoid using extension cords for the power cord. Plug the appliance directly into a properly grounded and suitably rated outlet for the appliance's power (see rating plate).
How to store the appliance at the end of the season?
Empty the storage basin and condensation tray completely. Clean the air filters and let them dry. Store the appliance upright in a dry, dust-free place. Do not cover it with plastic bags. Wait at least 1 hour after transport before restarting it.
