EN OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR MASSAGER Dear customer, IMETEC thanks you for having purchased this product. We are certain you will appreciate
the quality and reliability of this appliance, designed and produced with client satisfaction in mind. This
instructions manual has been drawn up in compliance with the European Standard EN 62079.
Instructions and warnings for a safe use.
Please read the instructions on use and safety before using the appliance and follow these at
all times. Keep this manual and illustrative guide with the appliance for future consultation. In
case you pass the appliance on to another user, make sure to also include this documentation.
Should certain parts of this booklet result difficult to understand or should doubts

• Remove the packaging. Check the device and the accessories against the drawing and make sure
these were not damaged in any way during transport. If in doubt, do not use the device and contact
the authoritative assistance service.
• Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic wrapping out of the reach of children;
risk of suffocation!
• Before connecting the device to the mains, check the network voltage is the same as the voltage
rating stated on the identification plate. The identification plate is found on the appliance power

for home use. Any other use is improper and potentially dangerous.
• The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensorial or
mental abilities, or lacking experience or knowledge, unless supervised by a person responsible for
their safety, supervision or after having received instructions regarding the use of the appliance.
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.50
• DO NOT touch the device with damp or wet hands or feet.
• DO NOT pull on the cord or device to unplug the latter from the mains socket.
• DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun).
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or maintenance and when
the appliance is not in use.
• In case of fault or malfunctioning of the appliance, switch it off and do not tamper with it. If the
device needs to be repaired, contact an authorized technical assistance centre.
• If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a cable or special unit available at authorised
Technical Assistance Centres.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or maintenance and when
the appliance is not in use.
• Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not use the product under blankets or pillows or in combination with electric blankets and /or
electric heating pads.
• Avoid contact with pointed or sharp objects which can damage the appliance.
• Do not crush the product, do not fold it and do not use it outdoors.
BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE:
• If doubtful for health reasons, seek Doctor’s advice before use. Above all in the event of:
a) blood circulation problems or reduced skin sensitivity;
b) presence of serious illness or following an operation;
c) presence of colds with fever, varicose veins, thrombosis, vein inflammation, jaundice, diabetes,
nerve related illnesses (such as sciatica), tuberculosis, tumours, haemorrhoids, bruises or
acute inflammations.
• The appliance is not recommended for use by carriers of pacemakers, implants and other similar
devices, by pregnant women, with pain of an unknown nature.
• Do not use the appliance in the following cases:
b. in the presence of disc hernias or pathological conditions of the spinal cord;
c. in the presence of illnesses of the cardio-circulatory system and headache;
d. in the presence of swelling, burns, open wounds, fresh wounds, haematomas, haemorrhages, or
other injuries on the back or legs;
f. after taking medicine or consumed alcohol or drugs.
• Do not use for longer than the recommended periods. After 15 minutes of treatment it is advisable
to rest for at least 20 minutes.

ASSEMBLY/PREPARATION
• Unpack the product and remove the stops used for transport.
• Check that it is integral and undamaged.
Upon commissioning, release the transport safety device of the massaging
mechanism. Loosen the screw on the rear of the chair back using the appropriate
The massager will be irreparably damaged and it will no longer be usable unless the
transport safety screw is removed before using the product. This case is not covered by
warranty. Once removed, the screw must no longer be re-inserted.
• The massager is supplied with Velcro securing straps making it possible to adapt it to the majority of chairs
available on the market. Pass the two straps (3) behind the chair back and secure them to each other
using the Velcro. If you prefer, simply rest the massager on your chair or armchair. Do not use it on wooden
surfaces as they may be damaged.
The massager is unsuitable for use in a car.
• Connect the transformer to the massager via the specific connectors (4).
• Connect the product to the domestic mains.
• Press the POWER button once to turn the massager on.
Three types of alternative massage can be selected:
Depending on the part to be massaged, press keys:
• UPPER: massage on upper back. Choose this type by pressing the corresponding button.
• FULL: full back massage. Choose this type by pressing the corresponding button.
• LOWER: massage on lower back. Choose this type by pressing the corresponding button.52

SWING: undulating massage.
Depending on the part to be massaged, press keys:
• UPPER: massage on upper back. Choose this type by pressing the corresponding button.
• FULL: full back massage. Choose this type by pressing the corresponding button.
• LOWER: massage on lower back. Choose this type by pressing the corresponding button.
• The three types of massages cannot be selected simultaneously.
• To stop press the corresponding button again.
SPOT FUNCTION (only for Circular and Swing massage):
Press one of the 2 SPOT buttons ▲▼ to stop the massaging mechanism and concentrate it in a fixed point.
Once activated in SPOT function, it is possible to adjust the massaging mechanism upwards or downwards,
by keeping the corresponding button pressed with the arrow facing up or down.
Release the button to stop the massage in the wanted position.
LINEAR: circular massage.
Depending on the part to be massaged, press keys:
• UPPER: massage on upper back. Choose this type by pressing the corresponding button.
• FULL: full back massage. Choose this type by pressing the corresponding button.
• LOWER: massage on lower back. Choose this type by pressing the corresponding button.
• The three types of massages cannot be selected simultaneously.
• To stop press the corresponding button again.
HEAT: heating function.
• Press the HEAT button to activate heat during the massage.
• Press it again to deactivate it.
VIBRATING: vibrating massage buttock area
Press the VIBRATING button to activate the vibrating massage in the sitting area. The seat will vibrate at
minimum level and the LED next to the letter (L) Low vibrating level will switch-on. To increase intensity to
(M) Medium vibrating level, press the key again, the corresponding LED will switch-on. Finally, to pass to (H)
High vibrating level, press the key again.
To deactivate the massage press the VIBRATING key after the (H) High level again.
• Press POWER again to turn the massager off.
Remove the pillow if wanting a more intense massage.
If wanting a more delicate massage, use a towel as well as the pillow.
The massager turns itself off automatically after 15 minutes. This function does not replace the normal
turning off of the product, which must be off when not in use. When the product is switched off, the massaging
mechanism always returns to "LOWER" position. When switched on again, the massage starts from this

EN MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or maintenance and when the
appliance is not in use.
The massager can be cleaned with a soft slightly damp cloth. It is also possible to use a light detergent.
Keep the massaging appliance out of children’s reach in a cool dry place.

does not work, follow the solutions.

EN DISPOSAL The product packaging consists of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with the
environmental protection standards.
The product must be disposed of properly, in accordance with the provisions of European standard
2002/96/EC. The device is made of recyclable materials that can be re-used to avoid environmental
pollution. For further information, contact the local disposal body or the appliance dealer.
