OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR NECK CUSHION
Dear customer, IMETEC thanks you for having purchased this product. We are sure that you will appreciate the quality and reliability of this appliance, designed and produced putting customer satisfaction first. This user manual has been designed in conformity with European standard EN 62079.

CAUTION! Instructions and precautions for safe use
Before using the appliance, carefully read the user instructions and, in particular, the safety precautions and observe them at all times. For consultation purposes, keep this manual, with the relevant explanatory guide, for the entire life of the appliance. If the appliance is transferred to third parties, the entire documentation should also be delivered.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- After removing the appliance from its packaging, check its integrity against the drawing for any damage that may have occurred during transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the authorised assistance centre.
- The packaging is not a children's toy! Keep the plastic bag out of children's reach; danger of suffocating!
- This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, that is as a neck cushion for home use. Any other use is considered to be non-compliant and therefore dangerous.
- The product is not designed for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensorial, or mental abilities, or without experience or knowledge, unless they have been able to benefit, through intermediation of a person responsible for their safety, of surveillance or instructions regarding the use of the product.
Children must be monitored to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do NOT expose the appliance to dampness or to the inflow of atmospheric agents (rain, sun).
- In the event of fault or poor operation of the appliance, turn it off and do not tamper with it. For repairs only contact an authorised technical assistance centre.
- Never immerse the appliance into water or other liquids.
- Avoid contact with pointed or sharp objects which could damage the appliance.
- Do not crush the product, do not fold it and do not use it in external areas
- If doubtful for health reasons, seek Doctor's advice before use, above all in the event of:
a) blood circulation problems or reduced skin sensitivity;
b) presence of serious illness or following an operation;
c) presence of colds with fever, varicose veins, thrombosis, vein inflammation, jaundice, diabetes, nerve related illnesses (such as sciatica), tuberculosis, tumours, haemorrhoids, bruises or acute inflammations.
- The appliance is not recommended for use by carriers of pacemakers, implants and other similar devices, by pregnant women, with pain of an unknown nature.
- Do not use the appliance in the following cases:
a. on animals
b. in the presence of herniated discs or pathological spinal cord conditions
c. in the presence of illnesses of the cardio-circulatory system and headaches
d. in the presence of swelling, burns, open wounds, fresh wounds, haematomas, haemorrhages, or other wounds on the back or legs;
e. during sleep;
f. after taking medicine or having consumed alcohol or drugs;
- Do not use for longer than the recommended periods
- The appliance is designed exclusively for home use and must not be used for professional and/or medical purposes.
DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE AND ACCESSORIES

ASSEMBLY/PREPARATION
- Unpack the product.
- Check that the product is integral and undamaged.
- Insert 2 AA batteries (not provided) into the neck cushion, following carefully the instructions indicated at the paragraph entitled “Installing / replacing batteries”.
- Place the cushion around the neck and secure it with the specific button (2) (Fig. 1).
USE
- Press the ON/OFF button once (1) (Fig. 1) to start the massage.
- Press it again to turn off the appliance.

Before removing/replacing the batteries ensure the product is off. In the event of prolonged inactivity of the product remove the batteries from the
relevant compartment (3) Fig. 3.
Installing / replacing the batteries:
- Open the zip of the lining and of the internal padding (Fig. 4)
• Take out the battery compartment without pulling too heavily on the wires (Fig. 5). - Correctly insert 2 AA type batteries (Fig. 6).
- Reinsert the battery compartment into the slot on the rear of the cushion (Fig. 7).
- Close the internal zip and the zip on the external lining (Fig. 8).
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
The cushion lining is fully removable. The lining is washable.

Do not bleach.
Do not spin-dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dry-clean.
Keep the neck cushion out of children's reach in a cool dry place. Keep the original packaging. Avoid contact with pointed or sharp objects which can damage the appliance.
DISPOSAL

The packaging is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with environmental protection norms.

According to the 2002/96/EC European standard, the appliance in disuse must be disposed of in a compliant manner. The recyclable materials contained in the appliance are recovered to avoid environmental degradation. For further information, contact the local disposal body or the appliance reseller.
Caution: Do not throw the batteries into domestic waste: they must be disposed of separately. Dispose of batteries in a specific collection centre. Remove the batteries from the appliance.

For repairs, or to purchase spare parts, contact the authorised IMETEC customer assistance centre by phoning the Free-phone number below or consulting the internet site.
The appliance is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. For details, consult the attached warranty sheet.
Failure to observe the instructions contained in this manual for product use, care, and maintenance, shall cause the manufacturer's warranty to terminate.
