OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR MASSAGE SEAT Dear customer, IMETEC thanks you for having purchased this product. We are sure that you will

appreciate the quality and reliability of this appliance, designed and produced putting customer

satisfaction first. This user manual has been designed in conformity with the EN 62079 European

Before using the appliance, read the user instructions and, in particular, the safety precautions

carefully and observe them at all times. For consultation purposes, keep this manual, with the

relevant explanatory guide, for the entire life of the appliance. If the appliance is transferred to third

parties, the entire documentation should also be delivered.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS After removing the appliance from its packaging, check its integrity against the drawing for

any damage that may have occurred during transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance

and contact the authorised assistance centre.

CAUTION! BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE:

If doubtful for health reasons, seek Doctor’s advice before use, above all in the event of:

a) blood circulation problems or reduced skin sensitivity;

b) presence of serious illness or following an operation;

c) presence of colds with fever, varicose veins, thrombosis, vein inflammation, jaundice ,

diabetes, nerve related illnesses (such as sciatica), tuberculosis, tumours, haemorrhoids,

bruises or acute inflammations.

The appliance is not recommended for use by carriers of pacemakers, implants and other

similar devices, by pregnant women, or by persons with pains of an unknown nature.

Do not use the appliance in the following cases:

The appliance is designed exclusively for home use and must not be used for professional

The appliance has a heated surface. Persons who are insensitive to heat must be careful

when using the appliance.

CAUTION! The massage must always give pleasure and relaxation. Change position or

stop the massage if feeling pain or discomfort.

ASSEMBLY/PREPARATION Unpack the product and remove the stops used for transportation.

Check that the product is integral and undamaged.

On first use, unblock the transport safety device of the massage mechanism. Unscrew

the screw on the rear of the back using the appropriate tool.52

The massage seat will be irreparably damaged and no longer useable, if the transport

safety screw is not removed before use. This event is not covered by the warranty. Once

removed, the screw must not be re-inserted.

The massage seat is supplied with Velcro securing straps making it possible to adapt it to the majority of

chairs available on the market. Pass the two straps (3) (5) (10) (11) behind the chair back and secure them

to each other using the Velcro. If you prefer, simply rest the massage seat on your chair or armchair. Pass

Connect the transformer to the massage seat using connectors (6) (7).

Connect the product to the domestic mains.

USE Press the POWER button to turn on the massage seat.

Up to 3 types of massage can be selected at the same time:

CERVICAL/SHOULDER: cervical/shoulder massage.

Press TOP button: the rotating cervical/shoulder massaging heads (1) start to turn.

Adjust the position of the massaging heads: keep CERVICAL SHOULDER button pressed to pass from

shoulder massage to cervical massage and vice versa.

Keep (top) or (bottom) buttons pressed to adjust the effect of the massage top or bottom.

To stop the massage seat press TOP button again.

BODY BACK: back massage.

Depending on the part you want to massage press the buttons

UPPER: massages upper part of the back. Choose this type of massage by pressing the

corresponding button.

FULL: massages full back. Choose this type of massage by pressing the corresponding button.53

LOWER: massages lower part of the back. Choose this type of massage by pressing the

corresponding button.

The three massages cannot be selected at the same time.

To stop, press the corresponding button again.

HEAT: heating function.

Press HEAT button to start the heat during the Cervical/Shoulder and Body Back massage. The HEAT

function turns on only if a BODY BACK massage is in operation.

Press it again to turn it off.

GLUTEUS MASSAGGE: vibration massage for gluteus area

Press the GLUTEUS MASSAGE button to start the vibrating massage in the gluteus area. The seat will

vibrate at the minimum level of intensity and the LED will light up next to the letter (L) Low level of vibration.

To increase the intensity to level (M) Medium level of vibration press the button again, the corresponding

LED will light up. To move onto level (H) High level of vibration, press the button again.

To stop the massage press the GLUTEUS MASSAGE button again after the HIGH (H) level.

Remove the cushion for a more intense massage.

Use a towel as well as the cushion for a lighter massage.

The massage seat turns itself off automatically after 15 minutes. This function does not replace the normal

turning off of the product, which must be off when not in use. When the product is turned off the massage

mechanism always returns to the “LOWER” position. When it turns on again the massage will resume from
