8. RECHERCHES ET SOLUTIONS A DEFAULTS
Before starting the pump, read this instruction booklet carefully.
For safety reasons, the pump must not be used by anyone who has not read these instructions.
The appliance is not intend for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
The power cable must never be used for carrying or shifting the pump.

The pump must not be used to pump salt water or flammable, corrosive or sive liquids (e.g. petroleum oil, petrol, thinners), grease, oils or foodstuffs.

Do not start the electropump without having filled the pump body with water.

Protect the electropump against inclement weather.

For long periods of inactivity or frost, completely drain the pump body.

Self-ventilation must always be guaranteed.

The mains voltage must be the same as that shown on the motor plate.

Make a good earth connection.

In the event of repair or maintenance, always disconnect the electropump from power mains.

Single-phase motors are provided with overload protection: they are connected to the power mains. Three-phase motors (Tallas N 100 T) must be protected suitable motor-protection device.

Connect to the mains by means of an omnipolar switch with a distance of at least
3 mm from the contacts. Install a high-sensitivity differential switch (0.03A) as additional protection.
2. APPLICATIONS
Self-priming centrifugal electropump with excellent suction capacity. Indicated for water supplies, small agricultural use, domestic emergencies.

4. INSTALLATION

The electropump must be positioned as close as possible to the liquid to be used.

Install a foot valve on suction.

Tallas N 100 T: For three-phase motors check the correct direction of rotation of motor which must be clockwise. Otherwise invert any two phase leads, after having connected the electropump from the power mains.

Pipes not weighing down on the electropump.

Suction pipe diameter > = diameter of the electropump opening.

Installation in a horizontal position.

Positive slope of the suction pipe towards the electropump.

ENGLISH
5. MAINTENANCE

The electropump can only be dismantled by specialised, qualified personnel.

Any modification without prior authorisation relieves the manufacturer of any kind of responsibility.

All repair and maintenance jobs must be carried out only after having connected the electropump from the power mains.

For electropumps with tank, check periodically that the pressure inside the tank is far lower than the minimum calibration pressure of the pressure switch. To check, connect the autoclave from the electric power mains and discharge the hydraulic pump (the pressure gauge supplied with the pump must indicate zero).

The replacement of the power cable must be carried out using a cable of the type with the same ending.

In the case of electropumps without a cable, provide power cables type RN-F for internal use and type H07 RN-F for external use, complete with plug.
6. PROBLEMS
| 1. The motor does not start and makes no noise. | - Check the electrical connections.
- Check the protection fuses. |
| 2. The motor does not start but makes a noise. | - Check the state of the capacitor.
- Check the electrical connections.
- Check for obstructions in the pump or motor. |
| 3. The motor turns over with difficulty. | - Ensure that the voltage is sufficient.
- Check for possible rubbing between moving and fixed parts. |
| 4. The pump stops occasionally. | - Tripping of the motor protector (single-phase version) due to excessive current absorption. |
| 5. The pump does not deliver. | - Check priming.
- Check the direction of rotation.
- Foot valve blocked. |
| 6. The pump does not prime. | - The suction pipe or the foot valve are taking in air.
- Check the slope of the suction pipe.
- Check filling of the pump body. |
| 7. The pump flow rate is insufficient. | - Suction pipe with insufficient diameter.
- Check the correct direction of rotation.
- Foot valve or impeller blocked. |
| 8. The pump vibrates and makes a noise. | - Check that the pump is firmly secured.
- The pump is working outside its plate data. |

7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADJUSTING THE PRESSURE SWITCH
The automatic pressurization groups are provided with a factory setting that is sufficient for most plants and requirements. However, the setting of the pressure switch may be adjusted to adapt the group to meet different requirements.
Adjustment of the control mechanism :
- Establish the minimum desired pressure value (leaving the pump)
- Set the storage tank preloading pressure 0,2 bar less than the minimum pressure level. This operation must be carried out only after having grained all the out the tank.
- After having identified the model of pressure switch supplied with supplied with the pump, calibrate it following the indications given below and checking the established values with a pressure gauge.
Square D:

- tighten the nut A to vary the starting pressure value. This will automatically change the stopping pressure value; as the differential cannot be varied;
loosen the nut A to perform the opposite operation.

8. FAULT FINDING CHART
| FAULT | CHECK | REMEDY |
| The motor does not star. | A. Check that the pressure switch is live.
B. Ensure that the tank preloading pressure is not higher than the minimum value of the pressure switch. | B. Set the preloading pressure 0,2 bar below the minimum value of the pressure switch. |
| The motor does not stop when the demand for water has ceased. | A. Ensure that the value at which the pressure switch is set to stop the motor is not higher than the pressure than the pump can generate (suction + delivery)
B. Check that the pressure switch contacts move freely. | A. Set the pressure switch at a lower pressure.
B. Otherwise change the pressure switch. |
| The pressure switch, starting and stopping frequently during normal water delivery. | A. Check the setting of the pressure switch which witt certainly be too low. | A. Increase the setting values of the pressure switch until the problem is overcome. Do not forget to reset the minimum intervention pressure. |
