How to charge the earbuds?

Place the earbuds in the charging case. Charging starts automatically. The case indicator is red during charging and turns green when the earbuds and case are fully charged.

How to connect the earbuds to a new phone?

Ensure the earbuds are in the case, open the lid and press and hold the function button for 2 seconds until the indicator flashes white. Enable Bluetooth on your phone, search for "Xiaomi Buds 3" and connect. If a password is requested, enter "0000".

How to reset the earbuds?

Place the earbuds in the case. Press and hold the case function button for at least 10 seconds until the indicator stays white. Reset clears the connection history.

How to activate noise cancellation?

When wearing both earbuds, press and hold the force detection area for 2 seconds to cycle modes: Active noise cancellation → Transparency mode → Cancel noise cancellation.

Can I use a single earbud?

Yes, but noise cancellation mode is not available in single earbud mode. Place the other earbud in the case and close the lid.

How to pause music?

Pinch once the force detection area on either earbud to play/pause.

Are the earbuds waterproof?

The manual does not mention water resistance. It is recommended to avoid contact with liquids.

What is the Bluetooth range?

Typical Bluetooth range is about 10 meters in open space, but may vary depending on obstacles and interference.

Can I charge the case wirelessly?

Yes, the charging case is compatible with Qi wireless chargers. Place the case with the indicator facing up, the center of the charger must be aligned with the center of the case (about 15 mm below the Xiaomi logo).

What to do if one earbud does not work?

Try putting both earbuds back in the case, close the lid, then reset the earbuds (see reset question). If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

Charging

• Charging the earphones: When the earphones are placed in the charging case, they will automatically start charging.
• Charging the charging case

Use the Type-C charging cable to charge the charging case, or place it on a compatible wireless charger with the indicator of the charging case facing upwards. The indicator is red while charging, and turns green when the earphones and the charging case are fully charged.

The center of the wireless charger must be aligned with the center of the charging case in order to charge, which is about 15 mm right below the Xiaomi logo on the back of the charging case. The charging case's indicator will be lit while charging.

Note: Only use certified Qi-compatible chargers.

Turning On

When opening the charging case, the earphones will automatically turn on.

Wireless Charging

Sleep Mode Place the earphones back into the charging case and close the lid, the earphones will disconnect and go into sleep mode automatically. Wearing Take the earphones out of the charging case, and insert them into your ears according to the left (L) and right (R) marks. Note: After using the earphones, place them back into the charging case. This will extend their lifespan and help you avoid losing or misplacing them. Connecting

• Connecting the earphones to a new device 1. Make sure that the earphones are placed in the charging case, and press and hold the function button for two seconds when the charging case's lid is opened. The indicator will start blinking white to indicate that the earphones are awaiting a connection. If the earphones are not connected for one minute, they will enter the sleep mode and the indicator will turn off. 2. Enable the device's Bluetooth, then search for and connect to the "Xiaomi Buds 3". If a passcode is requested, enter "0000".

Note: Before using the earphones for the first time, please place them into the charging case and press and hold the function button for five seconds to activate them. Once activated, the earphones will automatically enter the awaiting connection state.

Clearing connection history

1. Place the earphones into the charging case.
2. Press and hold the charging case's function button for at least 10 seconds, and release it once the indicator stays white.

The earphones have been reset, and the connection history has been cleared. The charging case's indicator blinks white, and the earphones are in pairing mode again.

Note: Due to the connection characteristics of the Bluetooth signal, in dense environments with 2.4 GHz electromagnetic signal interferences, there may be occasional disconnects or no sound.
