unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material poses a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always keep children away from the product.
This product may be used by children aged 8 and over as well as by persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments or lacking experience and knowledge provided that they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and that they understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

BEWARE OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Any leaks or water discharge can cause a danger to life through electric
shock. Check carefully that all connections are watertight and ensure that all wires for electrical devices near the sink unit are correctly and safely installed.
If in doubt, seek specialist advice.
CAUTION! DANGER OF SCALDING!
Ensure that the hot/cold plaque is inserted in the correct position in order to avoid accidental scalding.
Set the tap lever to open on a cold setting and then proceed to adjust the water temperature.
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE! Property damage can be caused by improper installation and use of the product. Installation should be performed by a professional.
Before installation, turn off the water supply to your living area.
During installation, make sure that all the seals are placed correctly on the sealing surfaces.
Do not use the tap with low pressures and small-scale tank heaters.
Only use the product if the ambient air temperature is above 0^ .
If there is a danger of frost, cut off the water supply and drain the tap.
Do not use the product if it displays signs of damage or its functionality is compromised.
Any leaks or water discharge can cause considerable damage to buildings and property. Therefore check carefully that all connections are watertight.
Before installation, familiarise yourself with all the on-site conditions, e.g. the available water connections and the shut-off device.
Do not carry out repairs yourself, instead hire a professional.
Only replace defective parts with original replacement parts.
- Installation
CAUTION! Turn off the hot and cold water supplies before you begin the installation.
CAUTION! Do not twist the connecting hoses and do not pull them taut.
CAUTION! Only screw on the connecting hoses by hand. Do not use pliers or a wrench, or else you could damage the connecting hoses.
Note: Installing the plastic triangle is optional. If your washbasin or sink unit is the correct shape and thickness, it is not necessary to install the plastic triangle.
Detach the fastening nut 10 from the tap thread 14 .
Screw the short side of the tap thread [14] into the tap body [24].
□ By hand, screw both of the flexible connecting hoses 8 from below into both of the corresponding hose mounts in the tap body 24. Under no circumstances should you use tools to screw the connecting hoses 8 into the tap. Make sure that the connecting hoses 8 are running straight and are not being clamped.
Place the base ring seal [15] into the groove on the base ring [16].
Ensure that the base ring seal 15 is positioned correctly in the corresponding groove.
Place the tap body [24] onto the sink unit so that the base ring [16] encircles the mounting hole for the tap.
Guide the plastic triangle [13], the silicone sealing ring [12], the transparent washer [11] and the fastening nut [10] if necessary over the connecting hoses [8] from below. When using the plastic triangle, ensure that the flat side is facing upwards so that it lies directly on the underside of the sink unit when installed.
Fix the tap to the sink unit by hand-screwing the fastening nut into the tap base from below until it stops.
Screw the connecting hoses onto the corner valve on your wall connection. Make sure that you attach both connecting hoses correctly to the hot or cold water connections.
After successfully installing the product, turn on the hot and cold water supplies.
Use
Initial use
Carefully check all connections for leaks after first use to ensure that they are sealed sufficiently.
Check that the tap is operational. To do so, swing the tap lever into all permissible positions.
Note: the tap is equipped with an LED light. The LED is lit through an integrated turbine (without batteries). The LED colour changes automatically based on the water temperature, thanks to an integrated temperature sensor:
up to approx. 32^ : blue
from approx. 33 - 40^ :green
from approx. 41 - 45^ red
above approx. 45^ : flashing red
Open the main water supply.
- Lift the tap lever 3 and swing it to the right or left to regulate the flow or temperature of the water.
Hot water:
swing the tap lever 3 to the left.
Cold water:
swing the tap lever [3] to the right.
- Maintenance and cleaning
- Maintaining and cleaning the fitting
Please note that sanitary taps require special care and attention. Therefore, please follow the instructions:
- Never clean with petrol, solvents or aggressive cleaners or hard bristled brushes, etc. These could damage the product surface.
Dry your tap with a cloth after every use to prevent any lime deposits.
Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth and, if necessary, mild detergent.
Failure to observe the above care advice can be expected to result in damage to the surfaces of the product. This will inevitably invalidate the warranty.
- Replacing the LED insert
If the LED bulbs fail to light up, the LED insert [20] can be replaced.
LED service life: approx. 10,000 operating hours.
A new LED insert can be obtained from the specified service address.
To replace the LED insert, proceed as follows:
Use the LED installation key 17 to remove the cap 18 on the tap spout 23.
Remove the silicone seal [19] and then - using the LED installation key [17] again - remove the LED insert [20] from the aerator housing [21].
Install the new LED insert and the silicone seal in the opposite way to disassembly.
- Replacing the cartridge
Cartridges are wearing parts that must be replaced at regular intervals depending on the lime content and contamination levels of the water. If the tap lever becomes stiff to operate, this can be a sign that the cartridge must be replaced. Replacement cartridges can be obtained directly at the specified service point.
Proceed as follows:
Carefully remove the hot/cold plaque 1 from the tap lever 3 with the help of a small flat-tip screwdriver.
Loosen the underlying Allen grub screw using the Allen key by turning it anti-clockwise for a few turns. Do not unscrew the Allen grub screw completely, only loosen it until the tap lever can be easily removed.
Remove the tap lever 3
Unscrew the cartridge covering ring 4 by hand in an anti-clockwise direction.
Unscrew the locknut using fitting or syphon pliers in an anti-clockwise direction.
Pull the cartridge 6 out of the cartridge base 7 .
- Carefully insert the new cartridge into the cartridge base [7].
Make sure that the seals under the cartridge are positioned correctly and that the leads are inserted into the openings provided.
Screw the locknut 5 tight using fitting or syphon pliers.
Screw in the cartridge covering ring 4 tightly by hand.
Insert the tap lever into the cartridge.
Fix the tap lever 3 by tightening the Allen grub screw 2 in a clockwise direction using the Allen key 9.
Insert the hot/cold plaque into the tap lever 3. Pay attention to the correct orientation: left = red (hot water) right = blue (cold water).
Note: If you tighten the cartridge safety ring too firmly, the tap lever 3 can be very difficult to move. In this case, slightly loosen the cartridge safety ring again.

Information
- Checking if tap water is drinkable
Ask your local authorities whether the water in your town/municipality is drinkable.
In general the following recommendations apply for the drinking water quality of tap water:
- Do not use any stagnant water to prepare dishes or drinks, and in particular to feed infants.
Failure to observe these instructions may have negative health effects. You can tell when water is fresh because it comes out of the tap noticeably colder than stagnant water.
If you are allergic to nickel, do not use any stagnant water from chromed pipes either for consumption or for washing in. Such water can have a high nickel content and can cause allergic reactions. - Do not use drinking water from pipes containing lead to prepare food for infants and/or to prepare foods during pregnancy.
Lead is released into drinking water and poses particular heath dangers for pregnant women, infants and small children.
