SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

For home use only.

When using the vacuum cleaner, you should always follow a series of basic safety precautions, including the following:

  1. Do not leave vacuum unattended when plugged in. Unplug it from the wall when not in use and before removing filters.
  2. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  3. This product is not permitted for use by children or other people without assistance or supervision if their physical, sensory, or mental state limits its safe use. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product.
  4. Use the vacuum cleaner only as described in this manual. Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
  5. Do not use the vacuum cleaner with a damaged cord or plug. Do not use the vacuum cleaner if it has fallen, been damaged, been outdoors, or submerged in water. Get in contact with the Authorized Technical Service so that they can examine, repair, or fine-tune it.
  6. Do not pull the vacuum cleaner or transport it using the cord. Do not use the cord as a handle. Do not stuff the cord under a door or let it go around sharp edges or corners. Do not run over the cord with the appliance. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
  7. Do not unplug the vacuum cleaner by pulling the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  8. Do not hold the plug or vacuum with wet hands. Do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  9. Do not place objects into the openings. Do not use a vacuum cleaner with openings that are blocked or impede airflow. Keep all openings free of dust, lint, hair or anything that could impede air circulation.
  10. Keep away hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body from openings and moving parts.
  11. Do not vacuum hard or sharp objects such as glass, screws, coins, etc.
  12. Do not vacuum hot coals, cigarettes, matches or objects that are hot, smoking or burning.
  13. Do not use the vacuum cleaner without filters.
  14. Turn off all controls before plugging in or unplugging the vacuum cleaner.
  15. Use caution when vacuuming stairs.
  16. Do not vacuum flammable or combustible substances (lighter fluid, gasoline, etc.) or use the suction in the presence of explosive liquids or vapors.
  17. Do not vacuum toxic substances (bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.).
  18. Do not use the vacuum cleaner in an enclosed space filled with vapors discharged from oil-based paints, paint thinner, anti-moth treatment, combustible dust or other flammable or toxic vapors.
  19. Always unplug the appliance before connecting or disconnecting the flexible hose. Do not let the plug snap back in.
  20. Use the vacuum cleaner only on inside dry surfaces.
  21. Do not use the vacuum cleaner for a purpose other than those described in this user guide.
  22. Store the appliance in a cool, dry, indoor location.
  23. Keep the work area completely dry.
  24. Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner in water or other liquids.
  25. Keep the hose and other openings away from the face and body.

  26. Do not use the vacuum cleaner to clean your pets or any other animal.

  27. Keep your head (eyes, ears, mouth, etc.) away from the openings when the vacuum is turned on or plugged in.
  28. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorized technical service, or by a qualified technician, in order to avoid a hazard.
  29. When you no longer use this product, recycle it so it is disposed according to local regulations.

WARNING:

Important:

If the hose connection, the flexible hose or metal pipe is blocked, turn off the vacuum and remove the obstruction before restarting the unit. If the obstruction takes place at the air inlet, a red light will turn on automatically along with the speed level indicator light.

  1. Do not use the vacuum too close to heaters or radiators.
  2. Before connecting the plug into the wall outlet, make sure you have dry hands.
  3. Before turning on the unit, be sure to remove large or sharp objects that may damage the dust bag or flexible hose.
  4. When removing the plug from the wall outlet, pull from the plug, not from the power cord.
  5. Do not use the vacuum cleaner without filters.
  6. If, while using the vacuum cleaner, you notice a squeaking sound or a reduction in suction power, stop the vacuum cleaner and, after unplugging it, clean all air filters.

Note:

In order to avoid risks, if the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, by authorized service personnel, or by a qualified individual.

WARNING:

Hold the plug when rewinding the cord. Do not allow the plug to snap back.

USE AND FUNCTIONING

Assembling the vacuum cleaner

Note:

Always remove the plug from the wall outlet before you install or remove accessories.

  1. To attach the flexible vacuum hose, connect the air inlet duct and press it until it clicks, which will indicate that the flexible hose has been fixed in place. (fig.1)
  2. To attach the telescopic metal tube to the handle of the flexible hose, put pressure on the metal tube until the handle goes into the telescopic metal tube.
  3. To attach the floor brush to the metal tube, put pressure on the metal tube connected to the brush. Adjust the metal tube to the desired length.

VARIABLE SUCTION CONTROL

Note:

Once all accessories are set in place, unwind a sufficient length of cord and insert the plug into the wall outlet. A yellow mark on the power cord shows the ideal length. Do not pull the cord out beyond the red mark.

  1. Insert the plug into the wall outlet.

GB

  1. Press the on / off switch located on the unit to turn on the vacuum cleaner.
  2. To pull in the power cord, press the cord rewind button with one hand and guide the cord with the other hand to ensure that it does not whip back, which may cause damage or injury.
  3. To control the vacuum cleaner suction power, press the power control (+/-) .

MOTOR THERMOSTAT

Important:

This motor comes equipped with thermostat protection. If, for whatever reason, the vacuum overheats, the thermostat will automatically shut off the unit. If this happens, unplug the vacuum from the wall outlet and turn off the switch. Then change the dust bag and clean filters. Allow unit to cool for about 1 hour. To turn on the vacuum cleaner again, plug it back into the wall outlet and push the on / off button again.

CHANGING THE UNIVERSAL BAG

  1. Open the front cover. (fig. 2)
  2. Change the dust bag. (fig. 3)

VACUUM TRANSPORT AND MOVEMENT

This vacuum has a special handle. You can use this handle to comfortably transport the vacuum in an upright position. (fig. 4)

REMOVING AND CLEANING THE PRE-MOTOR FILTER AND HEPA FILTER

Warning:

Always unplug the unit from the electrical outlet before removing the dust bag.

a. Pre-motor filter (fig. 5 and fig. 6).
1. Open the front cover.
2. Remove the inlet filter screen and clean or replace the filter.
b. Hepa Filter (fig. 7 y fig. 8)
1. Press the front cover lock button and open the cover.
2. Remove the HEPA filter and clean or replace it.

Note:

The vacuum cleaner pre-motor filter's material will fill with dust over time. This is normal and will not affect the filter's performance. If the filter has so much dust that suction is not at 100% , we recommend that you remove it and rinse with tap water. Before putting it back into the vacuum, let it air out and dry for 24 hours. Do not allow it to come close to fire or objects that are at elevated temperatures. This operation must be performed once every six months or when it is clear that suction power is reduced.

Important:

Note that there is a safety device in the vacuum to avoid the unit from running at an excessively high suction rate. If the vacuum is too high, the safety device will be activated. In this case, the device may reduce the suction rate to avoid damaging the motor.

Note:

The opening must be exposed at all times without anything obstructing it. Otherwise, the motor will overheat and may be damaged.

Important:

All filters should be checked regularly for signs of deterioration, preferably after every cleaning task. The filters should be replaced immediately if any damage occurs. Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the electrical outlet before checking the filters.
