How to charge the vacuum cleaner

The vacuum cleaner is supplied partly charged, and must be charged on its support for 14 hours before use. This household appliance can only be used with the batter charger provided. The battery charger can be connected to any plug.

  • Check that the charge pin fits correctly in the charger support power socket.
  • Plug the adapter into the mains. When the charge indicator lamp (10) is lit, the battery is being charged correctly.
  • The normal time for the appliance to charge is 14 hours.

PRECAUTIONS AND CARE:

  • Not for outdoor use.
  • Do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
  • To avoid excessive heat and damage to the charger or battery, do not put the vacuum cleaner into operation while it is being charged.
  • This appliance may be used children aged 8 and over, and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or a lack of knowledge or experience as long as they are supervised or receive the correct instructions for the safe use of the appliance, and are aware of the risks it poses.

Children must not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without proper supervision.

  • Only use this appliance as described in this manual. Use only the accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use cable lengtheners or plugs with the incorrect current capacity.
  • Do not handle the charger or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
  • Do not burn or destroy the battery, as it could explode if exposed to high temperatures.
  • Excessive use or extreme temperatures could cause damage to the battery. If the liquid comes into contact with the skin, wash with soap and water or a neutraliser with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar.

If the liquid enters the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water.

  • Do not suction objects that are burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or other hot materials.
  • Do not use without putting the filter in place.
  • Do not use to suction flammable or combustible liquids such as petrol or in areas where such liquids might be present.
  • Do not vacuum large or small sharp objects such as pieces of glass.
  • Keep the adapter indoors in a cool, dry place and make sure it is not exposed to extreme weather conditions, to prevent electric discharges and/or damages.
  • The battery must only be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer, to prevent risks.
  • Always remove the cable from the socket before repairing the appliance.
  • Use only the charger provided by the manufacturer to charge the appliance.
  • Always charge it indoors.
  • This household appliance is for domestic use. It is not for commercial use.
  • Do not turn on the appliance if the cable, plug or charger is damaged or if the appliance is damaged in any way.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorised technical service or by a qualified technician, to prevent risks.
  • Do not put the nozzle or appliance near the eyes or ears when in operation.
  • To ensure correct operation, keep the appliance and filters clean and repair or replace damaged filters.
  • Do not unplug the charger by pulling the cord.

How to use the vacuum cleaner

  • Press the "I/O" button while you are using it. The appliance will collect dirt hidden beneath carpets or any other surface. If the suctioning power is weak or non-existent, it must be recharged.

  • To vacuum dust: empty the dust compartment, if it contains dust. Dry the compartment and filter thoroughly.
  • To vacuum liquids: empty the dust compartment if it contains liquids. Use the wet nozzle (scraper for liquids) (9).
  • Check the level by putting the appliance in a vertical position with the nozzle facing towards the floor. Empty the dust compartment before it reaches the maximum level.
  • Long tube: Join both parts and secure the long tube to the vacuum cleaner. Use the long tube to reach areas that are hard to reach, for instance, air conditioning ducts. (Fig. 8)
  • The long tube support is attached to the pedestal by two screws at the bottom of the support and the pedestal. (Fig. 9)

How to assembly the charger support

The vacuum cleaner comes with a support designed specially to hold the charger, so it can be charged from a wall. (Fig. 1)

  1. To assemble the support put it in the required position in the wall and mark the holes for securing the support on the wall or mounting surface with a sharp pencil. Check that the wall support is in vertical position.
  2. Drill a hole on each mark. Insert a plastic plug into each hole.
  3. Put the screw into the top plug, leaving the screw exposed.
  4. Put the support on the exposed part of the screw and slide the support downwards so that the screw fits into the groove.
  5. Put the second screw in the plug at the bottom of the support and tighten to anchor the support.

How to empty the vacuum cleaner

  • Always turn off the vacuum cleaner before opening it.
  • Press the release button and remove the dust compartment. (Fig. 2)
  • Remove the dust compartment filters and empty the container. (Fig. 3, 4, 5)
  • Eliminate the dirt and dust from the filter. Use a damp cloth to clean the inside of the dust compartment.
  • To clean the outside, wash with cold or lukewarm water.
  • Remember. It is advisable to test the filters before putting them back in the dust compartment.
  • Check that the filter is in the correct position before using it again.
  • To collect as much dust as possible, the filter must be clean and the dust compartment empty.

How to eliminate / remove the battery:

  1. Remove the screw from the battery compartment lid. (Fig. 6)
  2. Remove the battery compartment pin. (Fig. 7)
  3. Remove the screws from the terminal blocks with the cables connected to the battery terminals. Remove the battery. (Fig. 7)

IMPORTANT: Check that you do not mix up the cable heads, to prevent short circuiting

NOTE: The battery must be removed by the manufacturer or authorised technical service, to prevent risks!

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Unwanted electrical products must not be disposed of with household waste. Take this appliance to your local recycling centre for safe disposal.
