What are the different modes of the Air Drybold Elite brush?

The brush has three airflow modes: Wet for styling damp hair from roots to ends, All for use as a classic air brush, and Dry for drying roots or straightening dry hair. You can also choose among four temperature and speed levels.

Can I use the heating plates on wet hair?

No, the heating plates should only be used on completely dry hair. Using them on wet hair could damage the hair and the device. The Wet mode is designed for damp hair, without plates.

How do I clean the air intake grille of the brush?

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Remove the air intake grille cover by pulling it down, then use a soft brush or cotton swab to remove dust and hair. Put the cover back after cleaning.

What should I do if the brush suddenly turns off during use?

This may be due to overheat protection. Unplug the brush, let it cool completely, then verify that the air intake is not blocked. If the problem persists, contact Cecotec's official after-sales service.

• This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. 3. OPERATION

Hair styling

1. Wash your hair and towel-dry to remove excess moisture.

2. Ensure the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance's rating label and that the socket is properly earthed. Plug the appliance into the mains.

3. Select the airflow direction by turning the knob:

4. Use Wet mode to style your hair from roots to tips. This function is ideal for use on damp hair.

5. Use All mode as a conventional hot air brush.
6. Use Dry mode as a straightening brush or to dry hair roots. You may combine this mode with the heating plates for a more polished finish.
7. WARNING: Always use the heating plates on completely dry hair.

WARNING: Always switch off the appliance before changing the airflow direction.

1. Turn on the hot air brush by sliding the on/off knob to the desired mode. The ion generator indicator light will illuminate. There are 4 modes available:

2. Room temperature air at maximum speed.

3. Cool air at minimum speed.
4. Medium temperature air at medium speed.

5. Maximum temperature air at maximum speed.

6. Dry and style your hair until desired results are achieved.

7. When finished, switch off the appliance by turning the on/off knob to the off position and unplug from the mains.

Hair straightening

Once your hair is completely dry, you may use the straightening plates for a more polished finish. To do so:

1. Press the heating plate on/off button to activate the straightening function. This feature can be used with airflow on or off. The heating plate indicator light will illuminate white.
2. Divide your hair into sections. Glide the straightening heating plates through each section from roots to tips until achieving the desired effect. Repeat the process on remaining sections.
3. When finished, switch off the heating plates by pressing the heating plate on/off button again. Turn off the airflow if activated and unplug the device from the mains.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the device from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp (not wet) cloth to clean the surface of the device.
• Remove the air inlet grille cover by pulling it downwards. Use a soft brush or cotton bud to clean the air inlet. Put the cover back in place.
• Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Do not use scouring pads, powders, or abrasive cleaning products to clean the product.
• Do not twist, bend, stretch, or damage the power cord.
• Clean the dirt and hairs that may be clogging the device after each use.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem	Possible causes	Possible solutions
The appliance does not switch on	Check if it is correctly plugged in.	Check that the socket is live and connect the brush.
	The on/off/mode knob has not been turned, or the heating plate has not been activated.	Place the on/off knob on one of the on positions.Press the on/off button on the heating plate.
	The brush has switched off due to overheating.	Unplug the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool down properly. Before turning it on again, check there is nothing obstructing the air inlet.
The straightening plates do not heat up	The straightening heating plates are deactivated.	Even if the brush is switched on, the heating plates must be activated manually. Press and hold the on/off button on the heating plate to activate it.
