Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Unplug it from the power supply when you finish using it and before leaving the room.
- Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
- Always turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use, before moving it to a new location, and before assembling or disassembling it.
- After filling the water tank, do not tilt the appliance to the sides or shake it during transport.
- Make sure that the appliance and the power cord are not damaged before use. In case of damage, consult an authorised technician.
- Do not remove the water tank before unplugging the power cord.
- Do not insert or allow objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings as this could damage the appliance and result in electric shock or fire.
- Do not cover the appliance during use to avoid overheating and damage to the motor.
- Remove the power plug from the outlet when the product is not in use and before moving, installing, uninstalling, and cleaning the product.
- Do not add any chemical or metallic ingredients to the water tank. These materials are hazardous and can cause problems.
- Babies, the elderly and people with illnesses should not be exposed to the air from the cooler for long periods of time.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Children should be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the device.

Do not use the cooler in or near water, as this may cause electric shock and fire hazard.

Do not disconnect the plug while the cooler is switched on. Always make sure that the plug is properly connected to the socket before using the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
Instructions on batteries
- Do not disassemble, open, or damage the batteries.
- Keep the batteries out of the reach of children.
- Pay particular attention to small batteries. In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
- Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
- Do not short-circuit the batteries. Do not store batteries in an untidy manner, in a box or drawer where they can short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
- Do not subject batteries to mechanical shock.
- Leaks from the batteries can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the batteries. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.
- Pay attention to the positive (+) and negative (-) marks on the battery and the remote-control compartment to ensure they are inserted correctly.
- Do not use any batteries that are not designed for use with the appliance.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION
Filling up the water tank

- Make sure the cooler is not plugged to a mains socket.
- Turn the water tank lock 90^ to open it.
- Remove the water tank and fill it with water.
- Reinsert the water tank and turn the lock 90^ to prevent water spillage.
NOTE:
- Before using the air cooler, make sure that there is enough water in the water tank.
- When filling the tank, make sure that the water level does not exceed the Max mark. Fig. 5
- When the air cooler detects that there is no water, it will beep three times in succession. In addition, the water pump will stop running and the cool function indicator light will flash for 20 seconds (at an interval of 1.5 seconds).

Automatic shut-off function
If no work is detected for more than 10 hours, the appliance will automatically shut off.
Power icon
- When the air cooler is connected to the mains, it will beep and go into standby mode. The indicator light of this mode will be lit.
- Pressing this icon once will switch on the air cooler. By default, it will operate at speed 3 in Normal mode. This number will appear on the display.
- If you press this icon again, the air cooler will stop and return to standby mode. The air cooler will remember the selected functions when in standby mode.
Speed icon
To adjust the speed of the cooler, press this icon. This cooler has 12 speeds.
Cool function icon
- Press this icon to activate or deactivate the cool function.
- Check that the water tank is properly filled. Also, for additional cooling, place the pre-frozen cooler in the water tank.
Mode icon
- Use this icon to change the mode. By default, the air cooler operates in Normal mode. If you press the icon once, it will operate in Natural mode; if you press it again, it will operate in Sleep mode.
- The Natural mode and Sleep mode vary the speed to adapt the air flow and intensity to the needs of the moment.
Oscillation icon
- Press this icon once to activate the clockwise oscillation function. The corresponding indicator light will light up.
- If you press it again, the oscillation will change to counterclockwise.
- Pressing it a third time deactivates the function.
Timer icon
The timer is not activated by default. To activate it, press this icon. Each time the icon is pressed, an operating hour is added (minimum time is 1 hour and maximum time is 9 hours).
Remote control
- The functions of the remote control are the same as those of the control panel.
- The maximum reception distance of the remote control is 5 metres.
- If you notice that the remote control is not working properly, replace the batteries:

Locate the battery-compartment cover on the back of the remote control.

Open the cover.
- Remove the used battery carefully, paying attention to its orientation and polarity.
- Insert the new CR2025 battery, making sure to insert it in the correct direction.
- Close the battery-compartment cover.
- Do not allow children to play with the remote control.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the air cooler, disconnect it from the electrical outlet. To clean the air cooler properly, follow this order:
1. Clean the water tank.
The body of the air cooler can be cleaned with a soft cloth and neutral soap. Do not use corrosive products, petrol, or alcohol to clean the plastic parts of the air cooler.
Remove the water tank and clean it with a brush. Rinse it well, dry it and put it back in place.
2. Clean the rear grille.
Remove the filter from the rear grille and clean it with a brush.
3. Collect the power cable.
After cleaning the cooler, if you are not going to use it for a long time, wind up the power cable.
To store the air cooler:
- Make sure the water tank is empty and completely dry.
- Put the air cooler in its box and cover it with a protective cover.
- Store it in a cool and dry place.

The power consumption in standby mode is 0.28 W using the guidelines of EN 50564:2011 and the European regulations 1275/2008/EC and 801/2013/EC. For this purpose, the device is connected to the mains without performing any function, waiting for the standby mode to be activated.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the product and/or batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose of the cells/batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the local authorities.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
