Frequently Asked Questions - Forcesilence Puretech 6500 M CECOTEC

How to install the Forcesilence Puretech 6500 M air conditioner?
Place the unit near a window or door. Attach the hot air exhaust hose to the back and place the nozzle in the opening. Make sure the hose is not bent for optimal exhaust.
How to clean the air filter?
Turn off and unplug the unit. Remove the filter at the back, wash it with warm soapy water, rinse and dry completely before replacing. A clean filter improves performance and air quality.
What to do if the unit is not cooling enough?
Check that the filter is clean, the exhaust hose is not blocked, and the window is properly closed. Make sure the set temperature is lower than the room temperature.
How to empty the condensation water tank?
The unit automatically drains water through the exhaust hose. In dehumidification mode, the internal tank may fill. Empty it via the drain plug at the back. Refer to the user manual for details.
The remote control is not working, what should I do?
Replace the batteries (AAA) if they are dead. Check that there is no obstacle between the remote and the receiver on the unit. Point it directly at the infrared sensor.

How to use the 24-hour timer?
Press the 'Timer' button on the remote or panel. Set the desired stop or start time using the +/- buttons. Confirm with 'Timer'. The timer helps you save energy.
What type of refrigerant does this device use?
The Forcesilence Puretech 6500 M uses refrigerant R290 (propane). It is environmentally friendly but flammable. Follow safety instructions: do not pierce the circuit, do not use near an open flame.
Can I use the air conditioner without the exhaust hose?
No, the exhaust hose is essential to expel hot air outside. Without it, the unit won't cool effectively and may overheat.
How to reset the unit?
Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes, then plug it back in. If the problem persists, refer to the user manual or contact customer service.
