Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- CAUTION: for the safety of your children, do not leave packaging material (plastic bags, cardboard, polyethylene, etc.) within their reach.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Cleaning and maintenance tasks should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec
Technical Support Service in order to avoid any type of danger.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.
- Do not switch the appliance off by pulling from the cable.
- If the appliance falls accidentally into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!
- Do not operate the device if any fault or unusual sign is detected.
- Do not operate the product next to combustible or explosive gas.
- The appliance must not be placed immediately below a socket.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and other parts of the body away from the openings and moving parts of the device.
- Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat and stable surface and do not move it during operation.
- Do not use the appliance near a window or places where it could get wet (2 metres away), as water could cause an electric shock.
- Do not operate the product under or next to curtains.
- Do not cover the air inlet and outlet and do not place the product's cord under carpets or other objects during operation. Keep the front, back, and sides of appliance at a minimum safety distance from walls and other objects.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use.
- It is not recommended to use the product with an extension cord.
- Always turn off and unplug the device when not in use and before assembling, disassembling, or moving it. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.
- Cleaning and maintenance tasks should be carried out according to this manual to ensure the correct operation of the device.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION
Installation
Follow the installation instructions below.
- Place the appliance on a solid, level surface. Fig. 2
NOTE: there must be at least 50 cm clearance from walls or other objects.
- Before using the appliance, make sure that both the air inlet and outlet are free of obstructions and not blocked.
- Plug the appliance into a power supply.
Filling up the water tank
- First, make sure the rubber plug, which is located at the back of the cooler, is properly inserted into the water outlet. Otherwise, water could leak out.
- Fill the water tank (located on the top of the cooler or see figure 1). Open the tank lid and fill the water tank with clean water. Make sure to respect the following marks:
- "MIN" mark
The water level in the tank must be above the "MIN" mark for the pump to operate correctly.
- "MAX" mark
The water level in the tank must not exceed the “MAX” mark, otherwise water may enter the appliance and damage the electronic parts.
- Make sure the water tank is not damp or wet on the outside. If it is, wipe it dry with a cloth.
- Close the lid again.

1. Power icon
Press the power icon ⏻ to switch on/off the cooler.
2. Speed icon
Press the speed icon ||. The display will show the following:
- F1- Low speed
- F2- Medium speed
- F3-High speed
The cooler will start operating at the selected speed when the display stops flashing.
3. Timer icon
Use this icon to switch the appliance off at a set time. Each time you press the ⏻ icon, the operating time is extended by 1 hour.
NOTE: the minimum time that can be selected is 1 hour and the maximum time is 12 hours.
To switch the cooler off automatically, follow the steps below:
- While the cooler is in operation, press the timer icon ⏻ repeatedly until the desired duration is lit.
- The setting is saved when the light of the desired duration stops flashing.
- Once the selected time has elapsed, the cooler will switch off automatically.

4. Mode icon
Press the mode icon ≡ to select the desired mode. The available modes of this cooler are as follows:
- Natural mode: press the mode icon until "AL" appears. The setting will be saved when the display stops flashing.
- Sleep mode: press the mode icon until "SP" appears. The setting will be saved when the display stops flashing.
5. Cold function icon
- Press this icon ✦ to activate the cold function.
- Make sure that the water level in the tank exceeds the "MIN" mark.
- As soon as you press the icon, the appliance will start to blow out cold, moist air.
6. Oscillation icon
- Press this icon ⏻ to activate the oscillation function. The corresponding indicator light will light up on the control panel.
- Press the oscillation icon again to deactivate this function.
ATTENTION: this function will cause the cooler to blow air to the right and left. This allows a horizontal distribution of air in the room.

The remote control of this cooler contains the same functions as the control panel.
- The batteries for the remote control are not included. They are AAA type.
Remote control operation
Point the remote control directly at the front of the appliance, making sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the appliance.
ATTENTION:
- Hold the remote control carefully.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight and keep away from heat sources.
To change the batteries in the remote control, follow the instructions below:
- Open the remote-control cover on the back.
- Remove the used battery carefully, paying attention to its orientation and polarity.
- Insert the new AAA battery, making sure to insert it in the correct direction.
- Close the cover by pressing gently until it clicks into place.
- Test the remote control to make sure that it works properly with the new battery.

Together with the cooler, you will receive two cold packs that you can place on top of the appliance to make the air even cooler.
When using them, please note the following:
- Fill them up to the "MAX" mark.
- Before use, put them in the freezer for 3-4 hours.
- Fill the tank with water, making sure not to exceed the "MAX" mark.
- Put the cold packs in the compartment at the top of the cooler.
Tips for use
- Protect the room where the appliance is located from direct sunlight with curtains, blinds or shutters. This will allow you to save energy.
- Do not place objects on top of the appliance or obstruct the air outlet.
- Keep the air inlet and outlet grilles clear.
- Make sure that there are no heat sources operating in the same room.
- Never use the appliance in very damp rooms (e.g. laundry rooms).
- Do not use the cooler outdoors.
- Make sure that the appliance is on a level floor.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the grille
To ensure efficient operation of the cooler and correct air flow, you should clean the inlet and outlet grille every week (if you have been using the appliance).
- Before cleaning the cooler, switch it off. Wait a few minutes and unplug it from the mains.
- Use a screwdriver to remove the 2 locking screws from the rear grille. When you have done so, remove the grille.
ENGLISH
- Use a vacuum cleaner to remove accumulated dust.
- If the grille is very dirty, soak it in hot water (the water temperature should not exceed 40^ C) and rinse it several times.
- Before putting it back in the cooler, allow it to dry completely.
- Replace it and secure it with the locking screws.
Note: do not use the cooler if the grille is not in place.
Cleaning the housing
Before cleaning the cooler, switch it off. Wait a few minutes and unplug it from the mains.
- Wipe the appliance with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it with another cloth.
- Never use benzene alcohol or solvents to clean the appliance.
- Do not spray insecticides or similar products on the cooler.
Emptying the water tank
It is recommended to empty and clean the water tank every 2-3 weeks (if the cooler has been used). Carry out the following steps:
- Remove the water tank from the appliance.
- Remove the water pump by pulling it out of the safety bracket.
- Clean the inside and outside of the tank with a soft cloth previously soaked in soapy water.
- Then, rinse with lukewarm water.
- Allow the tank to dry out completely and place the water pump back in its holder before putting it back in the cooler.
Cleaning mineral deposits
To reduce/remove mineral deposit build-up in the water tank, you can follow the recommendations below:
- Use demineralised or distilled water.
- Follow the following procedure on both water tanks at least once a month:
o Make sure the cooler is unplugged. - Use specific descaling liquid for cleaning coolers and follow the instructions on the liquid.
- Make sure that the inside of the tank is clean and dry before reassembly.
o Replace the water tank and store the cooler in a safe and dry place.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING

7. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
