Frequently Asked Questions - WS907 OREGON SCIENTIFIC

How to install the filters for the first time?
Remove the packaging from the nano filter, insert it into the cartridge with the arrow pointing toward the device, lock the safety lock (click), then replace the cover by turning clockwise until it clicks. Then insert the pre-filter into the support and close the air intake cover.
What does each color of the indicator light mean?
Blue = good air quality, Green = moderate air quality, Amber = bad air quality. The indicator adjusts its brightness based on ambient light.
How to clean the air purifier?
Unplug the device. Wipe the housing with a soft dry cloth. Remove the pre-filter and wash it with water, then dry it completely before replacing. Never clean with water or flammable detergents.
When should the nano filter be replaced?
In normal household use in a non-smoking environment, the nano filter lasts up to 3 years. In a more challenging environment (smoking, renovations), replace it more often.
What does the message 'Check filter and covers' on the screen mean?
It indicates that the nano filter or covers are not properly installed. Check the lock of the nano filter and the closure of the air intake and exhaust covers.
Why is the exhaust air hot during first use?
This is normal: nano-materials cause a slight chemical reaction when exposed to air. This lasts about 20 minutes.
How to use the auto mode?
Press the fan speed button until 'AUTO' is displayed. The built-in sensor detects air quality and automatically adjusts the fan speed.
What is NCCO technology?
NCCO (Nano Catalytic Oxidation) combines a pre-filter, nano filter, and active oxygen to sterilize bacteria, trap VOCs and odors, and continuously regenerate the filter.
The purifier does not eliminate odors, what to do?
Check that the room does not exceed 20 m². Clean or replace the nano filter. Open windows to improve air circulation if quality is very poor.
What is the recommended room size for this purifier?
The recommended volume is 6 to 20 m². For optimal efficiency, use it in a room of suitable size.

INTRODUCTION

Thank you very much for purchasing "WS907 i.fresh NCCO Air Sanitizing System". This instruction manual contains useful information on the proper use and care of this product. In order to enjoy its features, read through this manual before first use and keep it for future reference. We recommend that you place this unit in a room in which you stay most of your time and where plants or pets are present.

This unit will start air quality monitor function once power is connected. There is no standby mode for this unit; to stop the air quality monitor, please remove the power adaptor from the main socket.

HOW THE AIR SANITIZING SYSTEM WORKS

Polluted air enters the air sanitizing system from the bottom air inlet. As the air is pulled through, the pre-filter helps trapping particles (dust, pollen, hair, etc.). Then the active oxygen sterilises trapped bacteria and viruses. The Nano filter traps a wide range of harmful gases and odours. Next, the active oxygen reacts with the Nano filter to clean out the trapped gases and odours, so that the filter rejuvenates. Finally, the cleaned air

passes back into the room through the top air outlet.

There is a small chance that the air coming out from the unit becomes warm during first use. It is normal as the nano material will have a slight chemical reaction with air. Should this happened it will last for about 20 minutes only.
