How to assemble the Adler AD 4229 for first use?

Before first use, wash all accessories and the bowl with soapy water. Place the bowl on the motor block and turn it clockwise until it locks. Insert the desired accessory onto the shaft and lock the lid. Plug in the appliance and select the appropriate speed.

Can I blend hot liquids in the bowl?

It is not recommended to blend liquids above 60°C to avoid damaging the stainless steel bowl and causing splashes. Allow preparations to cool before blending.

Can the AD 4229 knead bread dough?

Yes, use the dough hook and speed 1 or 2. Do not exceed 500 g of flour. Knead in sessions of 2 minutes to avoid engine overheating.

How to clean the motor block?

Unplug the appliance. Wipe the motor block with a damp cloth. Never immerse the block in water. Accessories and bowl are dishwasher safe.

What to do if the appliance does not start?

Check that the bowl and lid are properly locked. Make sure the socket works. If the problem persists, contact Adler after-sales service.

What is the maximum bowl capacity for liquid preparations?

Do not fill the bowl beyond the maximum marking (4 liters for liquids) to avoid overflow. For thick preparations, the capacity is 5 liters.

Can I use the robot without the lid?

No, the lid is an essential safety device. The appliance only works if the lid is properly locked. Never attempt to bypass this system.

How to grate cheese with the grating disc?

Place the grating disc on the shaft, lock the lid, and insert the cheese through the chute using the pusher. Use speed 4 or 5 for even results.

Is it possible to crush ice cubes?

Yes, with the chopping blade and pulse function. Do not use large ice cubes; break them into small pieces. Do not run continuously for more than 30 seconds.

GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

1. Before using the device, read the instruction manual and follow the instructions contained therein. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by using the device contrary to its intended use or improper operation.
2. The device is for domestic use only. Do not use for other purposes incompatible with its intended use.
3. Connect the device only to a 220-240V~50/60Hz grounded outlet. In order to increase the safety of use, multiple electrical appliances should not be plugged into a single circuit at the same time.
4. Be especially careful when using the device when children are around. Do not allow children to play with the appliance; do not allow children or persons unfamiliar with the appliance to use it.
5. WARNING: This equipment may be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental ability, or persons without experience or familiarity with the equipment, if it is done under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or they have been given instructions on the safe use of the equipment and are aware of the dangers associated with its use. Children should not play with the equipment. Cleaning and maintenance of the equipment should not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years of age and these activities are performed under supervision.
6. WARNING: Do not leave the device plugged into an outlet unattended.

1. Periodically check the condition of the power cord. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by a specialized repair facility to avoid danger.

6. Do not insert fingers or any other objects into the container when the device is turned on.
7. Be careful not to let long hair, scarves, ties, etc. hang over the container and the working parts of the device.
8. For safety reasons, use only original accessories and spare parts adapted to the mixer model sold by an authorized service center.
9. Change accessories only when the appliance is turned off. Unplug the appliance from the power supply.
10. Do not put products other than food and liquids into the mixing container.
11. Do not use aggressive detergents to wash the housing, as they may cause the removal of applied informative graphic symbols such as graduations, markings, warning signs, etc.
12. The maximum continuous operation time of the mixer is 5 minutes. After 5 minutes of continuous operation, wait 3 minutes before restarting it.
13. If the mixers are blocked, always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet before removing the blocking parts.
14. Do not move the device during operation.
15. Be careful when handling the agitators, when emptying the container, and when cleaning.

USE OF THE DEVICE

1. Make sure the device is unplugged from the mains.
2. Insert the tips into the holes on the bottom of the appliance. The whisking tips (6) can be inserted in parallel, while the dough hooks (7) should be inserted so that the tip with the extra tooth is placed in the hole on the left side looking from the bottom of the mixer.
3. The whisk (8) for whisking can be placed in either of the two holes on the bottom of the mixer.
4. Make sure the tips are well seated by pulling lightly on them.
5. Connect the mixer to the power supply.
6. Set the desired speed of the appliance by pressing the speed control buttons (2). The symbol: "+" increases the speed of the appliance, the symbol: "-" decreases the speed of the appliance. The speed will be shown on the display (5).
7. Start the mixer by pressing the appliance switch-on button (3).
8. You can change the speed of the mixer while it is running by pressing the speed control buttons (2).
9. You can pause the operation by pressing the on/pause button (3).
10. During operation, you can use the Turbo function (4). When you press and hold the "Turbo" button, the device will start running at maximum engine speed. The display will show the symbol: "P".
11. When finished working, set the speed with the speed control buttons (2) to "0" and unplug the mixer from the mains by removing the plug from the electrical outlet.
12. Remove the blender tips by pressing the "Eject" button (1).

NOTE: To protect the motor part, the mixer will automatically go into standby mode and reduce the speed to "0" after 5 minutes of continuous operation.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning, unplug the device from the mains.
2. Remove accessories before washing them in water with dishwashing liquid. Do not clean in a dishwasher.
3. Wipe external parts with a kitchen towel or soft cloth.
4. Do not use abrasive materials for cleaning.
5. Do not immerse the mixer body (9) in water or any other liquid.

USING THE APPLIANCE

1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
2. Insert the tips into the holes on the bottom of the appliance. The whisking tips (6) can be inserted in parallel, while the mixing tips (7) should be inserted so that the tip with the additional tooth is placed in the hole on the left side when viewed from the bottom of the mixer.
3. The whisk (8) for whipping can be placed in either of the two holes on the bottom of the mixer.
4. Make sure the tips are firmly seated by gently pulling them.
5. Connect the mixer to the power supply.
6. Set the desired operating speed of the appliance by pressing the speed adjustment buttons (2). The "+" symbol increases the operating speed of the appliance, the "-" symbol decreases the operating speed of the appliance. The speed will be shown on the display (5).
7. Start the mixer by pressing the power button (3).
8. You can change the speed of the mixer while it is running using the speed control buttons (2).
9. You can pause the operation by pressing the On/Pause button (3).
10. You can use the Turbo function (4) while working. After pressing and holding the "Turbo" button, the device will start operating at maximum motor speed. The symbol "P" will appear on the display.
11. After finishing work, set the speed using the speed control buttons (2) to "0" and unplug the mixer from the mains by pulling the plug out of the electrical outlet. 12. Remove the mixer attachments by pressing the "Eject" button (1). NOTE: To protect the motor part, the mixer will automatically enter standby mode and reduce the speed to "0" after 5 minutes of continuous operation.
