  • The plug and socket must be waterproof and the cable must be of the necessary length and have the following cross-section:
  • 1.5 mm ^-2 with maximum length of 10 m or 2.5 mm ^2 with maximum length of 15 m. Unsuitable extension cables can be dangerous!
  • Do not vacuum toxic, caustic and deleterious substances with this appliance.
  • Do not vacuum water or any other liquids with this appliance.
  • Do not vacuum bigger pieces of charcoal with this appliance as they could get jammed within the hose.
  • Do not vacuum hot or burning or smouldering substances (e.g. hot ash) with this appliance.
  • Use the appliance exclusively for vacuuming of cold ash. Do not vacuum heating boilers and oil stoves and plaster and cement dust with this appliance.

Switching the engine on

Put the switch (pos. 1/6) to the "ON" position

Switching the engine off

Put the switch (pos. 1/6) to the "OFF" position

Clean the filter

After some time, the filter gets slightly clogged by ash. To get full power, pres the suction tube at an angle to the ground (pic. 3).

Clean or replace the filter after finishing your work

When cleaning, remove rough dirt first by rolling (pic. 5). Then you can clean the filter with water (pic. 6).

Dry out the filter first before installing it in the appliance. The filter must be replaced when there is obvious external damage or before.

Inspections and maintenance

Safety instructions for inspections and maintenance The appliance, especially the suction nozzle needs to be cleaned after any use!

Regular maintenance is necessary for proper working of your appliance.

Regular cleaning and maintenance of the suction nozzle must especially be carried out to prevent damage and accidents in general.

The following needs to be provided before maintenance:

  • disconnect the plug,
  • put the appliance to a stable position,
  • wait until the engine cools down.

Have any repairs unconditionally executed by trained professional staff.

Disconnect the plug before every alteration, adjustment or maintenance of the appliance!

Cleaning

Always keep the appliance clean and in working order! Clean the engine with just a cloth.

Avoid spraying with heavy water stream.

Filter cleaning

To maintain the maximum suction power of the ash vacuum cleaner, rough cleaning of the filter is recommended (after each use if possible). If possible, clean the filter outside to prevent your home from becoming dirty.

Take the ash vacuum cleaner and hit it hard on the floor for 3-5 times (pic. 3) so that the coarsest pieces of dirt fall off the metal filter screen.

Le the vacuum cleaner stand for 2-3 minutes to allow dust to settle down in the vacuum cleaner.

Open the container lid, remove the filter by slight clockwise rotation and clean it by tapping the outer dust layer on the container inside out on the ash (pic. 4).

If the exhaust power does not significantly improve, the filter is damaged and it must be replaced (spare filter - product number 16717).

CAUTION! Then, if possible, perform a short test run outdoors to release dust particles produced during replacement or cleaning.
