Here are the steps to pair your LG Tone Free FP3 earbuds with your smartphone:

Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
Open the case containing the earbuds
Press and hold the touchpad (on the left or right earbud) for 3 to 5 seconds until the indicator blinks blue
The Bluetooth search mode is now active (the blinking blue indicator confirms this)
Depending on your phone:
- Android 6.0+: A quick pairing window should automatically appear - tap "Connect"
- iOS or Android 5.0 and earlier: Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and select "LG-TONE-FP3" (note: do not select "LG-TONE-FP3_LE")

If it doesn't work

If you are still having connection issues, try to reset the earbuds to factory settings: press and hold the touchpad for at least 10 seconds. The earbuds will reset, and you can start pairing again from step 1.

Note: Once paired for the first time, your earbuds will automatically reconnect to your phone every time you open the case.
