- Carefully read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Connect the appliance base only to a suitably earthed socket compatible with the parameters indicated in the instructions.
- The appliance should be placed on a stable and dry surface.
- Before turning on the appliance, make sure that milk is in the tank. Do not turn on an empty appliance.
- Do not pour milk above the max. level indicator. Overfilling may result in uncontrolled outflow of hot milk, flooding electrical connections, and short circuiting).
- The device can be used by children aged 8 and older and not by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons without sufficient experience and knowledge only under supervision or if previously instructed on the safe use of the appliance and the possible risks. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance that are the responsibility of the user shall not be carried out by children without supervision. Protect the appliance and the power cord against children under 8 years old.
- When unsupervised, the appliance that is plugged in to the mains or is filled with hot milk may pose hazard for children.
- Never immerse the appliance base in water while washing-up.

INTENDED USE
The SI1050 foaming unit is intended for heating up and foaming of milk, as well as for preparation of beverages on the basis of milk. The appliance heats up milk to about 65 +/- 5°C.
SETTING UP THE APPLIANCE
Before using the appliance, make sure that the appliance, the plug and the power cable are in good technical order and whether all parts of the package were removed.
Before the first use, all parts of the appliance that are in contact with food must be thoroughly washed (see: Cleaning and maintenance).
For the best results, use milk with fat content over 3.0%.
Warm milk frothing
- Place the tank (5) in the base (6).
• Install the required tip inside the tank (5) - Pour milk into the tank in the volume not exceeding the maximum level -
- Place the lid (1) with the sealing gasket
- Press the button (8) twice. The control light ⚠ will go on to start the frothing process.
- The appliance will switch off automatically, and the control light will go off. The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (8).
- Then remove the lid (1).
- While holding the appliance by the handle (3), remove the tank (5) from the base and pour out the milk to a cup. If needed, use a wooden spoon so as not to damage the coat of the tank.
Cold milk frothing
- Place the tank (5) in the base (8).
• Install the required tip inside the tank (5). - Pour milk into the tank in the volume not exceeding the maximum level -
- Place the lid (1) with the sealing gasket.
- Press the button (8) twice. The control light □ will go on to start the frothing process.
- The appliance will switch off automatically, and the control light will go off. The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (8).
- Then remove the lid (1).
- While holding the appliance by the handle (3), remove the tank (5) from the base and pour out the milk to a cup. If needed, use a wooden spoon so as not to damage the coat of the tank.
Heating up milk
- Place the tank (5) in the base (6).
• Install the required tip inside the tank (5). - Pour milk into the tank in the volume not exceeding the maximum level -
- Place the lid (1) with the sealing gasket.
- Press the button (8) twice. The control light will go on and the heating process will start.
- The appliance will switch off automatically, and the control light will go off. The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (8).
- Then remove the lid (1).
- While holding the appliance by the handle (3), remove the tank (5) from the base and pour out the milk to a cup.
NOTE. Do not pour milk above the maximum level for the given function.
Hot-chocolate preparation
- Place the tank (5) in the base (8).
• Install the required tip inside the tank (5). - Pour milk into the tank in the volume not exceeding the maximum level -
- Press the button (8) once. Then add the powdered chocolate or the finely crushed solid chocolate.
- Place the lid (1) with the sealing gasket.
- Press the button (8) three times. The control light ⚠ will go on and the heating process will start.
- The appliance will switch off automatically, and the control light will go off. The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (8).
- Then remove the lid (1).
- While holding the appliance by the handle (3), remove the tank (5) from the base and pour out the milk to a cup.
NOTE. The solid chocolate must be finely crushed (preferably grated or blended). Too-large pieces can block the attachment (2).
After use, wait for about 2 minutes for the thermostat to reset. This time may be shortened when cold water is poured into the tank. Dry clean the appliance before its use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Clean the appliance immediately after use and cooling down.
- Before cleaning, turn off the appliance with the button (8), disconnect from the power supply and wait to cool down.
- Never immerse the base (6) in water, and do not rinse under running water.
- The external surfaces may be cleaned with a damp cloth.
- Wash the elements (1), (2) in warm water with addition of washdish, use a soft sponge and rinse under running water.
- Do not use abrasive agents, cleaning powders, acetone, alcohol, etc.
- The elements (1), (4) may be washed in a dishwasher, placed on the upper shelf. Make sure that they are placed away from the heating element. The maximum temperature is 50°C.
