seat unit or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use The stroller is intended for use with children aged between O and 36 months, up to 15 kg of weighting It is recommended that the backrest should be used in its most reclined position for children from birth to 6 months of age. Only Car Seat CHICCO and/or Carrycot CHICCo with the CLIK CLAK fitting device can be attached to the stroller compatible. The parking device shall be engaged when placing and removing the children. Do not overload the storage basket. Maxi- mum weight 5 kg. Any load attached to the handle and/or on the backrest and/or the sides of the vehicle will affect the stability of vehicle. Do not carry more than one child at a time Do not use accessories, replacement parts, or any component not supplied or approved by the manufacturer/distributor. For car seats used in conjunction with a chassis, this vehicle does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.

WARNING: before assembly, check that

the product and all of its components have not been damaged during transportation. Should any part be damaged do not use and keep out of reach of children.

WARNING: the product must be assembled

WARNING: the use of the crotch strap and

safety harness is necessary to guarantee the safety of your child. Always use the safety harness together with the crotch strap.

WARNING: Ensure that during these opera-

tions the moveable parts of the stroller do not come into contact with your child.

WARNING: never leave the stroller on a

sloped surface with a child onboard, even with the brakes applied.

WARNING: when not in use, the stroller

must be kept away from the reach of chil- dren.

WARNING: This product must only be

pushed by an adult. Ensure that the person using the stroller knows how to use it safely. Always apply the brakes whenever the stroller is stationary. To avoid the risk seen, keep ob- jects fitted with strings or laces out of reach of children. Do not use the stroller on stairs or eleva- tors: it could cause the loss of control ofthe stroller. Pay special attention when maneuvering the stroller up or down pavements or a step. If the stroller is Left exposed to direct sun light for a long time, allow it to cool before placing your child in it. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the fabric to fade. Do not use the product if some of its parts are broken, torn or missing. Prevent the stroller from coming into con- tact with salt water. It may cause the for- mation of rust. Do not use the stroller on the beach.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

‘The cleaning and maintenance of this product must be caried out on a regular basis by the user. The cleaning and maintenance of the strller must only be carried out by an adult. CLEANING ‘The cover can be removed (please refer to the section “How to Remove the Fabric Cover”) Please refertothe care labels for instructions on how to clean the fabric parts. Below are the cleaning symbols and their meanings:

Periodically wipe clean plastic parts with à soft damp cloth. Always dry the metal parts to prevent the formation of rust if the stroller has come into contact with water. Wash by hand in cold water Do not bleach Do not tumble dry Do not iron Do not dry clean MAINTENANCE Lubricate the moving parts only if necessary, with à light application of à Silicone based ubricant.Regularly check the condition of the wheels and, keep them clean of dust and sand. To avoid friction that may prevent the correct operation ofthe stroller, ensure that ll the movable plastic parts placed along, the metal frame are clean of dust, dir or sand. Keep the stroller in dry place. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS WHEELS ASSEMBLY In some configurations, the wheels may come not assembled. In this case, assemble the as indicated below.

1. Insert the rear wheel blocks 3s indicated in figure 1, until they Lock in position.

2 Theninsert the front wheel block on the stroller until locks in position (fig, 2). Repeat this operation for the other wheel block

HOW TO OPEN THE STROLLER

WARNING: When opening the stroller, ensure that your child, or other children,

4. Lift the stroller towards you to make the opening operation easier (dia. 4)

5. Press the rear Locking mechanism in a downward direction with the tip of

your foot to open the strollr full, and lock in the open position (diag. 5).

WARNING: Ensure that the stroller is Locked in the open position, by checking

7. Once the to tubes are inserted in the coupling, rotate the rear joint (D) so

WARNING: before using the product in the straller configuration, always check

the correct assembly of the backrest. BACKREST FITTING

8. Fit the cover on the strolers backrest from the top fig. 8)

9. Thread the safety harness abdominal straps through the slots located on the

side of the backrest cover (fig. 9). 10.Thread the crotch strap le divider through the lot located on the backrest cover (fig. 10)

T1. Insert the adjustable leg rest in the relative fabric pocket located under the backrest cover (fig. 11)

12. Fastenthe cover to the seat, securing the two press buttons present on the

bottom of the seat (fig 12).

13. Fasten the armrest covers, by securing the 2 press buttons (fig. 13).

14. Fastenthe side edge of the backrest cover with Velero to the armrest cover,

88 indicated in fig, 14. CARRV-ALL BASKET ‘The stroller features à large carry-all basket.

15. To secure the basket to the strolle, as shoumn in fig. 15, secure first of allthe

2 plastic hooks (H} to the pins on the front of the structure. Next, insert the 2 Strings on the basket, in the two plastic slots under the seat and secure them by means of the press buttons (1) Finally secure the remaining à strings with the press buttons, to the rear tubes of the stroller (K).

WARNING: do not store weights exceeding 5 kg in the basket. Remove the

content inside the basket before folding the stroller: CANOPY ‘The stroller features two fixings on the sides to secure the canopy. 16.Tofastenthe canopy to the structure, insert the canopy joint in the relative fing on the strollers structure (fig 16) 17.To open the canopy, push the front brace forwerd (fig. 17) 18.To remove the canopy, pull the canopy joint upwards (fig. 18).

WARNING: the canopy fastening operation must be carried out on both sides

of the strollr. Check the proper locking of them on both sides.

REMOVABLE BUMPER BAR

19. To remove the bumper bar, press the to buttons located under the armnrests

(Gieg 19) and pull the bumper bar toverdk you. Open only one sde the burper bar to place the child into the stroller more easily.

WARNING: Alys fasten the child vith the safety hamess, The bumper bar

is NOT a child restraint device.

WARNING: Never use the bumper er if the roller with the child sitting it.

HOW TO USE THE SAFETY HARNESS

‘This stroller has à S-point safety harness that features two shoulder straps, à waist strap and a crotch strep with buckle

WARNING: When using the safety harness with children from birth up to

approximately 6 months of age, it is necessary to fist fit the shoulder straps through the two adjustment holes on the fabric backrest (dieg 204).

20. Check that the shoulder straps are adusted at the correct height for your

child. they are not at the correct eight, adjust them as required (diag 20 8)

21. After sittingthe child in the stroller, insert the 2 prongs into the buckle and,

ifnecessary, adjust the width of the waistbelt operating the buckles (diag. 21)

HOWTO ADJUST THE BACKREST

23. To adjust the inclination of the backrest, press the button located on the

ADJUSTING THE LEG REST

24. Press the two edges of the leg rest to adjust it to the desired position (fig. 24),

DOUBLE-TWIST ADJUSTABLE ERGONOMIC HANDGRIP

25.8y pressingthe button onthe handle, it is possible to rotate the handgripto the desired position, adapting it to the height and most comfortable position for the user (fig. 25), The handgrip can be adjusted in 8 different positions.

26. WARNING: during use, he handgrip must not be used in lowered position

(fig. 264). During use, the handgrips must be adjusted at the high position, 5 shoun in figure 268.

REAR BRAKES ‘The rear wheels have linked brakes, which can be applied simultaneously to the two double rear wheels by using only one pedl.

27. To apply the brakes, push one of the two levers located at the centre of the

rear wheels in à downwrard direction, as shown in diagram 27.

28. To unlock the braking system, push one of the two Levers located at the

centre of the rear wheel in an upward direction, as shown in diagram 28.

WARNING: Always apply the brakes whenever the stroler is stationary.

WARNING: Never leave the stroller on à sloped surface, with a child onboard,

even with the brakes applied.

WARNING: After operating the brake Lever, ensure that the brakes have been

correctly applied to both of the rear wheel units. SWIVEL WHEELS ‘The stroller has front swivel or fixed wheels

29. To unlock the swivel wheels, lower the lever located between the two

wheels. Use the swivel wheels on smooth surfaces, To Lock the wheels, push the lever in an upward direction (diag. 29)

WARNING: the swivel wheels make the stroller easier to manoeuvre; on uneven

surfaces is recommended to use locked front wheels to guarantee the safe use of the stroller (on gravel, unpaved roads, etc)

WARNING: AlLthe wheels must always be Locked or unlocked at the same time.

FOLDING THE STROLLER

WARNING: carry out this operation making sure that your child, or ather children,

are at à safe distance. Make sure that during these phases, the moving parts of the stroller do not come into contact with the chid's body.

30. Fold the canopy, pulling it towards you as shown in figure 30.

31. ul both levers on the handles upward, keeping them pulled, release the

rear U-joint, pushing it upward with your toe (fig 31)

32. Grab the folding handie and pull upward, until the stroller is completely

folded and locked (fig, 32} 33.To further reduce the overall sies ofthestroller when closed, you can adjust the handies dounwerds (fi. 33). ‘The folded and locked stroller will stand upright by itself.

REMOVING THE BACKREST

‘The backrest can be removed to facilitate securing the carrycot and car seat.

35. Release the press buttons located under the seat on both sides, as shown

39. At this point, you can lift the backrest and cover.

HOW TO USE THE CHILD CAR SEAT AND CARRYCOT. ‘The CHICCO strollrs featuring the CLIK CLAK system on the armrests allow You toit the carrycot and/or child car seat to the frame ofthe stroller without Using any additional devices. To fit or remove the carrycot or child car seat, please refer to the specific instructions supplied

WARNING: Only the CHICCO child car seats and carrycots featuring the CLIK

CLAK devices can be itted to the stroller. Before using the stroller with the carrycot or child car seat fitted toit, always check that the locking system is Locked into the correct position. ONLY USE ACCESSORIES FITTED WITH THE SPECIFIC CLIK CLAK SYSTEM

40. WARNING: The incorrect locking of these accessories to the stroller frame

may jem the Locking system and prevent their removal. In this case, unlock the locking devices manually with à screwdriver, by tuning the levers located under the armrests (diagram 40). Please read carefully the instruction booklets on how to use the carrycot and child car seat ACCESSORIES:

WARNING: The accessories described below may not be available for some

versions of this product. Please read carefullthe instructions on the accessories available for the model purchased RAIN COVER ‘The stroller may come with a rain cover.

41. Fitthe rain cover, as shown in diagram 41. After use, ifthe rain cover iswet,

42. The Leg cover is created by using the carrycot apron (fig, 42)

43, To attach the leg cover, insert the Leg rest in the pocket at the foot end of the Leg cover. Then pass the upper edge under the bumper bar. (fig. 43) 44, Secure the Leg cover to the stroller as shown in figure 44A and 448. BAG Some versions have à practical holder bag which can be used with the strap.

45. Fasten the bag t the stroller using the strap 2s seen in diagram 45.

WARNING: Do not overload the bag with weights of over 2 kg

WARNING: Exceeding this limit may compromise the stability of the stroller
