Important safety instructions
Read all instructions before using the appliance.
The steam cooker is intended for household use. In case of using it for business purposes the guarantee terms shall be revised.
- Connect the steam cooker to a suitable mains supply outlet (only AC), with grounding, the voltage shall meet the requirements indicated at the nameplate.

Make sure that the power supply cord does not run over the edge of a table or counter or is in contact with any hot surface.
Do not start-up the steam cooker if the supplying cord is damaged or the casing of the heating unit is visibly damaged.
If the undetachable supplying cord is damaged it must be replaced by a manufacturer or qualified service agent in order to avoid hazard.
The appliance can be refurbished by trained staff only. Improper refurbishment can cause the serious hazard to the user. In case of any defects occurrence, contact the qualified ZELMER service agent.

Do not wash under running water, do not immerse the water tank with heating unit in water.
Do not use aggressive detergents such as emulsion, cleaning milk, cleaning pastes, etc. They can remove the graphic information symbols, such as: scales, marking, warning signs, etc.
Before cleaning, assembling or disassembling always unplug the supplying cord from the mains supply outlet.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including Children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Preparation to operation
Take the appliance and all accessories out of the packaging.
Remove all self-adhesive labels.
√/ash all parts (apart from the water tank with heating unit) in warm water with wash-up liquid.
Binse the a/m parts of steam cooker thoroughly and dry them.
Wipe the inner of the water tank with damp cloth. Do not immerse the water tank in water.
Handling and maintenance (Fig. B)
① Place the water tank with heating unit and installed steam outlet pipe including basket, on the firm, plain surface, far from the objects which can be damaged by hot steam, i.e. walls or handing cupboards.
② Pour water into the water tank up to the indicated maximum level. Fill up the water during steaming through the water inlet.
REMARK: Make sure that the water inside the tank is fresh and cold. Do not fill the tank with detergents or any other liquids, do not add salt, pepper, spices, etc.
Make sure that the water level inside the tank is between min and max. In such case the steaming process shall go properly.
③ Assemble the drip tray on the water tank.
④ Put the products inside the steaming bowls.
⑤ Put the steaming bowls on the drip tray in the following sequence: steaming bowl 1, 2, 3. Make sure that each of them is assembled properly. The steam cooker can operate with 1, 2 or 3 steaming bowl, depending on the amount of products for steaming.
The appliance can be used for rice boiling. Put the rice in, pour the water into the rice bowl, in proportions according to the STEAMING TIME TABLE, next place the rice bowl inside the steaming bowl.
The appliance can be also used for boiling eggs. Install the insert with handles for eggs inside the steaming bowl in advance, and place the eggs in it.
⑥ Cover the appliance with the lid.
⑦ Plug the supply cord to the mains supply outlet.
⑧ Turn the timer knob to the required steaming time (see STEAMING TIME TABLE). When the power pilot lamp is on, the appliance starts generating steam.
REMARK: In case the required steaming time is below 5 minutes, at first turn the timer on position over 8 minutes, and then turn it back to the desired position.
Do not touch the steaming bowls, lid or products inside the steaming bowls during operation. Burning hazard.
⑨ During operation the water level indicator indicates the water level inside the tank. You can pour in more water during operation if necessary.
REMARK: When the water level gets below min, pour the water in through the water inlet.
⑩ In order to finish operation earlier, put the timer into "stop" position.
⑪ After steaming unplug the supplying cord from the mains supply outlet.
⑫ Remove the lid using its handle, then remove all the bowls from the water tank.
REMARK: Use cooking gloves for removing the steaming bowls.
After operation do not bend down over the appliance when the lid is removed, burning hazard.

REMARK: The time settings presented in the table above are for orientation only. The steaming time can be changed in respect of the size of servings, their arrangement inside the bowl, freshness of the products and individual preferences.
Cleaning and maintenance (Fig. C)
① Before cleaning always make sure if the timer knob is in „stop" position and the plug of the supplying cord is unplugged from the mains supply outlet.
REMARK: It is allowed to clean the appliance after complete cooling down.
② Remove the steaming bowls, dripping tray, empty them and empty the water tank, clean the tank with damp cloth.
③ Wash all the parts of the appliance (apart of the water tank with the heating unit) with warm water and wash-up liquid.
The parts mentioned above can be also washed in the upper level of the dishwasher, using a short washing cycle. However, washing these parts regularly in the dishwasher may result in the loss of shine on their outside surfaces and their tarnishing.
④ Dry each element.
REMARK: Do not wash under running water or immerse in water the water tank with the heating unit.
Do not use aggressive detergents such as emulsion, cleaning milk, cleaning pastes, etc. They can remove the graphic information symbols, such as: scales, marking, warning signs, etc.
De-scaling
After approximately eight times of operation remove the lime stone filling the water tank with white vinegar so that the heating unit (heater) is covered. Leave it for night, than wash the tank thoroughly with a dump cloth soaked with warm water.
Ecology – environment protection
Each user can protect the natural environment. It is neither difficult nor expensive.
In order to do it: put the cardboard packing into recycling paper container; put the polyethylene (PE) bags into container for plastic.
When worn out, dispose the appliance to particular disposal centre, because of the dangerous elements of this appliance, which can be hazardous for natural environment.
