- the quantity of foods dried
- the humidity in the room where the unit is used
- your preference in terms of the degree of food dryness.
It )s re6o88en7e7 to:
- Control the drying process at least once every hour.
- Rotate and / or change the position of the trays
- 7abel the container used to store dried foods with a date and time of drying. This is helpful in the future to determine the drying time and shelf life.
- Prepare the food properly before drying (wash, dry and cut)
- Assure suitable storage after drying, as this allows the high quality of products and nutrients to be preserved for longer.
Stor°-e:
- Put the dried food in the target containers only after it has cooled down.
- Food can be kept longer in a dark, cool and dry place.
- Removing the maximum amount of air from the container used for storing the dried products allows one to get better results - we recommend vacuum storage.
- The optimal storage temperature is 15^ C or lower.
- Never store dried foods in metal containers
- Containers in which dried food is stored should be tightly sealed.
