How to inflate a tire with the PDSS C3?

Connect the valve tip (5) to the tire valve. Press the trigger (6) to activate the air flow. Release to stop. Read the pressure on the pressure gauge (1). If the pressure is too high, use the drain valve (3) to release air.

What maximum pressure does the device support?

The maximum working pressure is 8 bar. Never exceed this value, risk of damage or injury.

What accessories are supplied with the PDSS C3?

The kit includes: inflation gun with pressure gauge, blow gun, extension nozzles, and a set of 8 adapters: tips 14/15/16 mm, balloon needle, universal adapters (∅6, 8, 9 mm), bicycle valve adapter, screw valve adapter and drain valve adapter.

How to use the blow gun?

Attach the extension nozzle (8) to the blow gun (7). Press the trigger (6) to activate the air. Release to stop. Always disconnect the device from the compressor after use.

How to maintain the device?

The device requires no special maintenance. Clean it regularly with a dry cloth. Do not allow liquids to enter the interior. Before cleaning, disconnect the compressed air supply.

What to do in case of overpressure in the tire?

Use the drain valve (3) located on the gun to release excess air. Press until the desired pressure is reached, then release.

Is the device under warranty?

Yes, the PDSS C3 comes with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects, but not wear parts or damage due to improper use.

Can I use gases other than compressed air?

No, use only clean compressed air, oil-free and condensation-free. The use of hydrogen dioxide, oxygen, carbon dioxide or other bottled gases can cause an explosion and serious injury.

How to clean the device after use?

Disconnect the device from the compressor. Clean the housing with a dry cloth. Never use sharp objects or flammable liquids such as gasoline. Avoid liquids entering the interior.

Where to find the IAN number to claim the warranty?

The IAN number (292180) is on the rating plate, an engraving, the cover of the manual (bottom left) or a sticker on the device. Keep it with the receipt as proof of purchase.

The pneumatic tyre inflator is designed for inflating bicycle tyres, balls, airbeds, rubber dinghies, etc. The pneumatic air blow gun is designed for cleaning objects and hard-to-reach areas with compressed air. Use the products only as described and only for the specific applications as stated. Keep these instructions in a safe place. Ensure you hand over all documentation when passing the product on to anyone else. Any use that differs to the intended use as stated above is prohibited and potentially dangerous. Damage or injury caused by misuse or disregarding the above warning is not covered by the warranty or any liability on the part of the manufacturer.

Before first using the product, please ensure you read and follow these operating instructions in full and keep them in a safe place. The manufacturer accepts no liability for losses, damage or personal injury caused by a failure to follow these operating instructions.

WARNING! The dangers stated are foreseeable when using handheld pneumatic equipment for general-purpose work. However, users must themselves consider the risks that can occur when using the equipment for a specific application.

Switch off the compressed air supply before changing tools and settings or performing maintenance.

WARNING! EXPLOSION HAZARD!

■ Never use petrol or other flammable liquids to clean the pneumatic device! Residual fumes in the pneumatic device could be ignited by sparks and cause the pneumatic device to explode.

Safety instructions for pneumatic tools

Do not work with the device in explosion hazard areas where combustible liquids, gases or dusts are present. Never work on materials which are or could potentially be highly flammable or explosive.

■ For multiple hazards, please ensure you have read and understood the safety instructions before installing, operating, repairing, maintaining or replacing accessory parts, and before working in the vicinity of the pneumatic tyre inflator with pressure gauge. Failure to do so can result in serious bodily injury.
■ Only qualified and trained operators should set up, adjust or use the device.
■ Do not modify the device. Modifications can reduce the effectiveness of safety precautions and increase the level of risk for the operator.
- Do not discard the safety instructions – give them to the person operating the device.
■ The device must be regularly maintained, so as to verify that

the required introduction/safety instructions for pneumatic tools, rated values and markings such as rated speed or nominal air pressure are affixed legibly to the device. The user must contact the manufacturer to request replacement labels or markings if this is required.

■ Always use the device for the specific applications for which it has been designed!
■ Do not overload the device.

Never use hydrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide or any other bottled gas as the source of energy for this tool, since this may cause an explosion and lead to serious injury.

DANGER! Keep hands and other parts of the body away from rotating parts to avoid risk of injury.

Operation

- Setup and use

NOTE: Always operate the product with compressed air that is clean, oil-free and moisture-free. Do not exceed the maximum working pressure of 8 bar at the device.

NOTE: To be able to control the air pressure, the compressed air supply must be equipped with a pressure regulator.

☐ Connect the product to a suitable compressed air source by plugging the quick-connect plug on the supply hose to the barbed fitting 4 on the product. The plug locks into place automatically.

• Using the tyre inflator with pressure gauge

1. Plug the valve connector 5 into the valve
2. Press the trigger lever 6 to start supplying compressed air.
3. Release the trigger lever 6 to stop supplying compressed air. Use the pressure gauge 1 to check the pressure.
4. If the pressure is too high (too much air) in the object you are filling: Press the vent valve 3 to release some air.
5. Press the lever on the valve connector 5 down and unplug the valve connector 5 from the valve.
6. Disconnect the device from the compressor after completing work.

• Using the accessories

☐ Press the lever on the valve connector and plug in accessory parts 10 to 13 or the attachment 9 into the valve connector 5.

• Using the air blow gun

1. Screw an extension nozzle 8 onto the pneumatic air blow gun 7.
2. Press the trigger lever 6 to start supplying compressed air.
3. Release the trigger lever 6 to stop supplying compressed air.
4. Disconnect the device from the compressor after completing work.

NOTE: Detach the hose from the compressor first, before you remove the supply hose from the device. This will prevent a situation where the supply hose whips around uncontrollably.

- Maintenance

WARNING! DANGER OF INJURY!

Always disconnect the device from the compressed air supply before cleaning it.

The device does not require special maintenance.

- Care and cleaning

• Do not use sharp objects to clean the device. Do not allow liquids to get inside the device – this can cause damage to the device.
• Clean the device regularly. The best time to do so is straight after completing work.
  ■ Clean the device housing with a dry cloth.

The warranty applies to material and manufacturing defects only. This warranty does not cover product parts that are subject to normal wear and tear and can therefore be regarded as consumables, nor does it cover damage to fragile parts

For proper use of the product, all of the instructions given in the operating instructions must be followed precisely. The product is for consumer use only and is not intended for commercial or trade use. The warranty becomes void in the event of misuse and improper use, use of force, and any work on the device that has not been carried out by our authorised service branch.
