Read this manual thoroughly before using and save it for future reference
- IMPORTANT SAFEGARDS
When using the electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- Before use, always check if the electrical rating of the power socket corresponds to that of the appliance.
- To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plug, or the grill in water or any other liquid.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
-
Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
-
Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning it.
-
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or it has been damaged in any manner. Take the appliance to the nearest authorized service to check, repair or adjust it.

The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.

The appliance must not be used by an external timer or remote control system. Do not use an accessory not recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not wrap food with plastic film, polythene bags or metal foil. You will damage the grill and may cause a fire hazard. Do not leave food to cool on the grill. Remove food while hot.

Do not use metal or sharp utensils on the grill. They will damage the non-stick cooking surface. Use wooden or plastic spatulas or tongs.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

WARNING: charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not be used with this appliance.

CAUTION-‘hot surface’. The appliance generates heat and escaping steam during use. Take proper measures to prevent any injury, burn or fire.

Never transport the appliance with handle.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- Farm houses;
– In hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- Bed and breakfast type environments

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

PARTS LIST


- INITIAL USE
Unpack the package, take out all the accessories and clean them according to the section of "CLEAN AND MAINTENANCE".
● ASSEMBLE THE GRILL PLATES
Normally, the grill is opened at an angle of 105 degree as shown in Fig.1. The top grill plate can be level with the bottom to create a large cooking surface and assemble the top grill plate. First open the grill to an angle which is less than 105, then push the lift lever upwards with the other hand and hold the handle with one hand to open the grill to 180 (see fig.2). Insert the plates into the holes near the hinge and push down the front end of the plate with a little force to snap the plate into place (See Fig.3). Then close the grill, just pull the handle directly towards you.
- OPERATION
A: Grill
- Prepare all garnish (cucumber, tomato etc.)
- Cut food (meat, beef and so on) to be grilled no more than 10mm thick.
- Make sure the drip box is placed on the table and under the grill assemble during operation, so it can collect the oil residues flowing out from the grill plates (see fig.4).
- Then lift the handle and push the handle backwards to open the grill.
- Wipe the grill plate with a little oil or butter, and then close it. Do not use low fat for spreading, as it may result in the food burning.
Note: the striation surface is only suitable for grilling meat, take care the quantity of food is proper.

Make sure the temperature knob is set at the minimum of “ ^100 warm” position and the grill is closed (see fig.4).

Plug the power cord into the socket.
-
Turn the function knob to the “☐” position. The power indicator lights and the ready indicator will flash.
-
Turn the temperature knob to the maximum position to preheat the grill. When the grill reaches the preset temperature, the ready indicator will stop flashing and turn to solid light. The adjustable temperature range is 100^ 220^ . Select an appropriate cooking temperature according to different kinds of food.

After preheating, the grill is extremely hot. Grip the handle and open the grill.
-
Lay the food on the bottom grill plate with a spatula or tongs, not fingers. Close the grill. The ready indicator will be extinguished.
-
The grill plates should be roughly parallel to avoid uneven heating.
-
When the ready indicator lights again, you have finished cooking and turn the temperature knob to the “100” position.
-
Turn the function knob to the “off” position, the power indicator and ready indicator will light off.
-
Check if the food is cooked.
-
As soon as the food is cooked, use gloves to open the grill, remove the hot food with wooden or plastic utensils.
-
Unplug the grill.
B: GRIDDLE
-
Normally, the grill is opened at an angle of 105 degree as shown in Fig.1. The top grill plate can be level with the bottom grill plate to create a large cooking surface as shown in Fig.2. Holding the handle with one hand, push the lift lever upwards with the other hand to the position where the top plate is in laying position.
-
Make sure the drip box is placed on the table and under the grill assemble during operation, so it can collect the oil residues flowing out from the grill plates (see fig.2).
-
Wipe the grill plates with a little oil or butter, and then close it. Do not use low fat for spreading as it may result in the food burning.
-
Make sure the temperature knob is set at the minimum of “100 warm” position.
-
Plug the power cord into the socket.
-
Turn the function knob to the “griddle” position. The power indicator will light and the ready indicator will flash.
-
Turn the temperature knob to the maximum position to preheat the grill. When the grill reaches the preset temperature, the ready indicator will stop flashing and turn to solid light. The adjustable temperature range is 100^ 220^ . Select an appropriate cooking temperature according to different kinds of food.

Lay the food on the bottom and top grill plates with a spatula or tongs, not fingers. During operating, you can turn over the food for best roasting result.
-
After cooking, turn the function knob to "off" position, the power indicator and ready indicator will light off. Unplug the power outlet.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This product contains no user serviceable parts. Always contact qualified service personnel.
- Before cleaning, disconnect the grill and let it cool down completely.
Note: The grill is still very hot. It will take quite a while to cool down.
- Press down release button and take apart the grill plates.
- After disassembling the plates, wash them in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Dry the grill plates before replacing them on the grill.
- Remove the upper and lower drip boxes with gloves, empty them into a heat-proof bowl, rinse them in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher and then dry them thoroughly.
Note: before removing the drip boxes, make sure the temperature of oil or oil residues in the drip box is lower than 40^ , otherwise it may burn a person due to high temperature.
- Wipe other surfaces of the grill with a clean damp cloth. Use a paper towel moistened with a little cooking oil to remove stains.
- Reassemble the grill plates into grill.
Do not immerse the appliance into water or other liquid.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleanser or solvent.
➢ Never use scourers, wire wool or soap pads.
- STORAGE
- Before storing the grill, make sure it is clean and dry thoroughly.
- Close the grill and store it in a flat position.
- Store the grill in a cool dry area out of the reach of children. The grill cannot be stored vertically.

VAŽNA BEZBEDNOSNA UPUTSTVA
- Početna upotreba
Uklonite ambalažu, izvadite sve dodatne delove i očistite ih kako je navedeno u delu“ČIŠĆENJE I ODRŽAVANJE”.
- POSTAVLJANJE GREJNIH PLOČA
Kontakt gril je normalno otvoren pod uglom od 105 stepeni, kao što je prikazano na slici 1. Gornja grejna ploča može biti u ravni sa donjom grejnom pločom i time se formira velika površina za spremanje hrane. Prvo otvorite uređaj do ugla koji je manji od 105 stepeni, a onda jednom rukom podignite naviše polugu za podizanje, a drugom rukom držite ručku i otvorite kontakt gril do180 stepeni (vidi sliku 2). Stavite ploče u otvore šarki i gurnite snažno naniže prednji kraj grejne ploče kako bi upala u ležište (vidi sliku 3). Zatvorite kontakt gril i samo povucite ručku direktno ka sebi.
- Upotreba
A: Kontakt grill
- Pripremite priloge (krastavac, paradajz i slično).
- Isecite hranu (meso, junetina i slično) na ne više od 10 mm debljine radi dobre pripreme.
- Vodite računa da je posuda za višak ulja na stolu i ispod postavljenog kontakt grila, kako bi tokom rada uređaja ostaci ulja mogli da sa grejnih ploča otiču u nju (vidi sliku 4).
- Podignite ručku i gurnite je unazad kako biste otvorili uređaj.
- Prebrišite grejne ploče sa malo ulja ili putera, a onda zatvorite. Nemojte koristiti dijetalna maziva za premazivanje ploča, jer mogu prouzrokovati gorenje hrane.

Prije korišćenja ovog uređaja trebalo bi ispuniti osnovne bezbjednosne preduslove uključujući sljedeće:

- Nemojte dodirivati vruće površine. Koristite ručku ili dugmad.
- Prije upotrebe provjerite da li napon u zidnoj utičnici odgovara naponu uređaja.

Da biste izbjegli rizik od elektrošoka, nemojte uranjati kabl, utikač ili gril u vodu ili bilo koju drugu tečnost.

Ukoliko je kabl oštećen, mora biti zamijenjen od strane proizvođača, ovlašćenog servisa ili sličnih kvalifikovanih lica kako biste izbjegli bilo kakvu opasnost.

Neophodan je strogi nadzor kada uređaj koriste djeca ili se uređaj koristi blizu njih.

Isključite uređaj iz utičnice kada ga ne koristite i prije čišćenja. Sačekajte da se uređaj ohladi prije stavljanja ili odvajanja dijelova, kao i prije čišćenja aparata.
